I want a third monster. If Godzilla fights three monsters at the same time, and beats them, it will show how tough, strong, and just plain awesome he is.

wow, i dont know about you guys, but I find this incredibly lazy and uninspiring designed. THey just plopped wings on from the previous MUTO. They are ok though, but seriously, this kind of makes me question their designs if there are ever any future movies, this is some incredibly lazy shit. I actually don't want original monsters if they are pulling shit like this. Again they arent bad looking, but man they really did nothing to differentiate these 2 forms except for wings.

Hopefully they will look better in the movie.

What is the name to the last monster Godzilla is going to fight? I thought that the eight-legged muto was the red monster. IDK if im right but correct me please cause i want to know!!!

Now thanks to this we can tell how big it is compared to the helicopter

What Junkerde said. Looks like Cloverfield reboot. Needed a more natural, organic looking enemy, like  a mantis, spider,etc. Can only hope for some TOHO surprise like Rodan or Mothra...lol. This design isnt exciting..or believeable if this is supposed to be a realistic grim account of the godzilla story. I think the two MUTO toys are the same species, one male and female, one one of them flies. Lets hope the other Mutos are better. Remember color, these are dark and red. The flying muto seen diving in ocean, cutting into train, and knocking chopper out of the sky is grey!

Thanks for making me laugh. 

There is a good chance the toys colors aren't accurate, or that Muto is able to change its colors. its too early to even start spouting theories about mating Godzillas and stuff like that, but amusing read either way. 

I don't know anyone stupid enough to think the flying Muto is still Rodan. Or that there will be other Toho monsters in this film. What would be the point of that? It's been established Godilla will face original monsters, people need to accept it. They're not gonna take the spotlight off of Godzilla's introductory movie with classic Toho monsters. 

We're looking at kids toys for Mutos, they're not going to be as accurate as their film counterparts. They won't be the exact same color like their on screen appearence. The Muto diving into the water was grey due to the area, everything was greyish. Lighting effects. Hell, they could just be grey in color, and once agitated or whatever they start to glow when near prey/Godzilla. These twos are the male and female Muto. That's it. 

Why the hell would Rodan even dive into the water anyways? If he were falling it wouldn't look as intentional. The creature clearly dove into the water. Rodan does not swim.

As for the mating thing, lol.

It looks like he's wearing a jetpack.

Why are you guys complaining? Haven't you seen how inaccurate all of the Godzilla toys are? Plus, look at the toy and how cheap it is. We dont't really have a good movie potrayal of the other monsters yet. Chill lol

Wow... this is unfortunate.  Daikaiju_Danielle breaks a HUGE and awesome story, our first glimpse of the Winged Muto, and the thread decends into bickering and snide remarks.  Very depressing.  Thank you Daikaiju_Danielle for sharing this information with us all!  I, for one, love the designs for both Muto's, and can't wait to see more images of toys and, eventually, a glimpse of the film versions! :)

It's still in the package and compared to how bad the last 1 looked while in the package and then in the photos afterwards it looked much better so I can't say much yet.

I will agree that it seems very similar in design to the other and not at big fan of that
