I am really surprised at the popularity of godzilla since the Main Trailer's release

ever since the release of the trailer, i have seen a lot of popularity of godzilla, not by gfans but by general audiences, this trailer also seems to have resurrected somepeoples geekeness to godzilla, due to the fact they watched the movies as a child and (with the help of the cast) this movie seems to get more anticipated. even though there are those few who are unaware that godzilla comes from japan and has existed about 60 years, the majority of people remeber godzilla.

i have noticed that the main trailer is very popular on memebase, it may not be the biggest site but it is my personal info on popularity of stuff on the internet, there has been a rise in godzilla releated stuff with attention comaped to the godzilla memes in the sites past. i even thought that film and entertainment insdustry saw godzilla as a joke (especially in the here in the UK) and boy was i wrong.

if anything anyone that is invloved with films seems to know what a true godzilla is like, famous directors like steven speilberg, geroge lucas, jj abrams and many more are eithet fans of the franchise, the first film or are even fimiliar with the franchise. i do belive that this movie will be a success becuase most people want to to be, if you can please the entire entertaiment industry of the UK with 20mins of footage, then there is no reason that this movie can flop.
