I'm actualy kind of glad I got kicked from AVP universe. If you read there posts it would make want to barf on to your keyboard. There posts made my eyes set on fire. There posts were mainly about sexual, creepy, discusting stuff. This site is awsome! At least this site isn't filled with perves, thats another reason why this site is so great :D

We keep a special hose on call in case perverts try and post, to clean everything up. Also, all staff are trained in Krav Maga and Mime, comes in handy for the tougher cases. 

I have below zero interest in an RPG forum, but I've probably outgrown such stuff.

I do think a chatroom would be interesting.

I don't think this forum software would allow a rpg to be installed to begin with.  Not entirely sure. I do like the chat room idea and that seems more rational.

RPG's can be done well in a forum format IF DONE CORRECTLY. They have an annoying tendency to...deteriorate as it only takes a couple people acting immature or exercising poor sporstmanship to undermine the whole experience. 

RPG threads on Starcraft II's forums (which is the main RPG via forum that I'm familiar with) are a lot of hit n' miss (mostly miss)

If you set something up, it needs to have clearly defined rules, be well organized, etc. and so forth. 

That being said, even though it would be difficult, I'm not opposed in principle.

This will be something for @Chris Picard to answer and I shot him the link to this post. Speaking as a moderator point of view. If we happened to start a forum on here dedicated to RPG, like @Madison stated, all it takes is a few people to undermine it. I see that being the home to the trolls to be quite honest, and I see a lot of arguments arising. I like the idea of a chatroom though, a lot. Granted the same risks somewhat apply, but it'll be much easier to manage.

Myself and Chris discussed this possibility a while back for our AVP site (see Svanya's link above). Although we have yet to develop the idea fully we "designed" a take on the Rock, Paper, Scissors game where members could battle against each other and, depending upon their stats for their chosen character and any items they had purchased from points awarded from posting in the forums, each randomly chosen attack would be played randomly - though a little complex the idea still remains a possibility.

This could work well within Godzilla, with members choosing their favorite monster and purchasing buffs and abilities to better survive and win fights.

Another possibility with less chance of "immature behavior" is an adventure story game (similar to Dungeons & Dragons adventure books of yesteryear) where we write a story with each chapter ending with a choice of 2-3 actions. Each member could choose their own action and the following week read the continuation of that story, based upon their selected action.

A final possibility is mixing the two, with an adventure story with occasional boss characters every month or so, that have to be defeated in battle (using the original idea) before continuing with the story.
