Huh!  Well, this is awfully bizzare!  Of all the people to see an advanced screening of Godzilla, its Slash?!  Nothing against Slash, but this seems very random!  I wonder what he has done to get such an honor?  And I wonder who else was at this advance screening?

Maybe we can get him to describe the Mutos to us!

All I've heard so far from people who've seen early cuts of the film was that it was "friggin awesome" and "favorite movie of 2014". That's really not what I want to hear. It almost seems forced.

@GTBETTA35 I understand, but Slash is a major Godzilla fan; from what I hear he named one of his guitars Godzilla. So hearing this from a true Godzilla fan is great to hear!

Big Mac: I know, I was being facetious. :) I wouldn't expect him to leak anything.  They trusted him enough to show him the film early, so I would hope he wouldn't betray the trust of Legendary and start spilling the beans.  I'm pretty sure you have to sign something stating that you won't talk afterwords anyway.

Weird. Not someone I would've expected to be invited to an early screening, but okay. It comes off a bit like a farce though.

In any case it's nice to hear he liked it-- I guess. I'm not sure what kind of movies he approves of or what his cinematic tastes are, but if he's a happy Godzilla fan I guess that's good.

I wonder how much of the film has been completed. They probably only had temp music in it as it was confirmed that Desplat just recently started recording the score.

That said, I highly doubt he has anything to do with the soundtrack. At all.

I don't believe you Mr.Gigan. Your proof is still weak. You need to be alot more intellegent then that to get me to believe something like this. Besides... all he can say is its freaking epic? Yeah like I haven't heard that before *Coff...Sarcazm* Sorry Mr.Gigan but the more things like this you spread the more I begin to dought you, no offense.

@GOJIRA_2014 LOL Mr. Gigan. I like that. But I honestly don't know how I can NOT prove it to you. Slash said it on his official Twitter (to which I provided the link for down to the specific tweet) and Max Borenstein (one of the official writers of Godzilla 2014) retweeted it. In fact, I never would've known about this unless Max Borenstein retweeted it. I mean, do I have to get Slash himself to come down and tell you? Not trying to sound insulting or anything but, like...really?

More than ever. I don't think Slash was at a test screening though. I think he was just invited to take a look at an early/unfinished cut.

I call fake. Obviously snowden hacked Max and Slash's twitter and used it to fool us! OBVIOUSLY.

I hope he says is true. Because, I don't want a movie that was as big of a disappointment as Godzilla 1998 was.
