kind of looks like a cross between the original 1954 spines mixed with 2000 in a weird way.

I like the texture. They look like actual bones, not rubbery and flopping all over the place. I realize this is because of the suitmation. I also like how some of them look pointy sharp!

Maybe his spines in this film will be his spinal cord poking out of his back, to further advertise he's a mutation. That'd be awesome!

I think the spines of the godzilla 2014 we have seen so far are the best spines to date. I think he is fine just the way he is.
