Yes I think he will use it the same but it might be a different color like to me white would be cool.

I'm know next to nothing about nuclear physics, but I think Godzilla's atomic breath is the energy given off from nuclear fission, which would explain why it's spikes glow. If it consumes enough radiation, the energy increases and turns red, and if Godzilla consumes even more radiation, it's beam would probably be white. I think the reason for Godzilla's nuclear meltdown is because it's getting old and can't sustain the radiation, and there must be another Godzilla who's younger to absorb the radiation and become even more powerful.
