MemberMothra LarvaeAug-10-2013 3:38 PMWell, since WB hasn't shown a real big interest in pushing this project,..i will say ,..Thor in November or the next Hobbit movie in December....but they will need a full blown trailer by then...not just a teaser ,..if they hope to reap anything here in the states...but as we all know,..this movie is gonna make it's money everywhere except the states...so, it could still get a 4 week push like Pacific Rim got...Mid April perhaps...I guess my point is, don't expect a big push for this movie whenever it happens.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-10-2013 10:22 PMIt's not about being positive it's about realistic expectations....how many times has it got to be discussed...this is not a big movie for WB here in the states.....got it??? it's money will be made outside of this country....no need for a year long push in the states....doesn't make any sense for WB when the best this movie will do here is make the money back it cost to make it...

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-10-2013 11:58 PMThey got a point, WB is sadly not really looking to make this the blockbuster of next year. Maybe December, the first Pacific Rim trailer came out in December so hopefully the next hobbit film. WB should really consider bringing this film more to general audience, but sadly it doesn't seem that way.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-11-2013 7:15 AMHopefully there'll be a LOT of those audiences not from states to make enough buzz that they would actually be interested in it as well.....

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-11-2013 5:49 PMPart of me thinks maybe the trailer will be in front of The Seventh Son because that is a Legendary Studio's movie. But I don't think that is one of the more highly anticipated movies. It'd be smarter if the trailer was in front of Thor 2 or The Hobbit, or even Ender's Game. I honestly don't have a confident prediction for the trailer.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-11-2013 9:26 PMThe American public seems to go for the actors more than the plot and story, eg every Adam Sandler movie. But if legendary plays it right and advertised its stellar cast the movie would do well I think. Bryan Cranston is very popular right now. Especially with breaking bad season 5 episode 9 airing tonight. They should air a trailer in a breaking bad episode during the commercials after airing it in the pretrailers to a movie. Bryan Cranston could sell the movie just because of his success with breaking bad. Who wouldn't want more Walter white anyway? Lol

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-15-2013 1:28 PMWell you guys have to think this is GODZILLA we're talking about, even if they handle the trailers poorly, it'll still make alot, Godzilla is very popular here in the states, even if people aren't into Godzilla, they know enough about him to go and see it. It's not everyday America gets a really good monster movie, let alone a Godzilla movie.

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-10-2013 9:20 PMWhat I think would be an interesting idea is to use the audio from the original 1954 film. Other than that, show destroyed buildings, Godzilla's tail and feet, and then show Godzilla roaring in a final, climatic shot.
