KAIJUSAURUS was awesome enough to give us the heads up on the possibility of the trailer airing in front of the Hobbit. This discussion is mainly to not only help support this news to be true, but to prove we'll actually get it a bit sooner (before the Hobbit premieres). For anyone wondering if this person is at all credible whatsoever or if he's just pulling our leg you'll be pleased to find out he has discussed upcoming trailers with Warner Bros. before and frequently chats with them about it on Facebook; which is where he first communicated with them on the Godzilla trailer.

Now I hope this info assures everyone to be a little more confident on a Godzilla trailer coming soon, but I have further news. We might get a trailer as close as a week or so before the Hobbit. I already figured from past experience waiting for trailers that any trailer premiering in front of a movie usually shows off the trailer on the internet some time before the movie their premiering on shows it off (like how the trailer for Cap 2 premiered for Thor 2 but was released online a whole 2 weeks before Thor 2's release). To confirm this I asked the same man who gave us the Hobbit trailer premiere news any possible info he may have about the Godzilla trailer showing up before the Hobbit premiere. This is what he had to say:

So if the Godzilla trailer is showing up at the Hobbit, expect a trailer BEFORE the Hobbit within the next 2 weeks. Amazing Spider-man 2 is already confirmed to for sure air at the Hobbit by director Marc Webb, so if we see the trailer for this movie on the net, cross your fingers for Godzilla to show up as well! The very same person also confirmed that WB said a lot of new upcoming WB movies will premiere their trailers at the Hobbit; this includes Interstellar and Godzilla (don't worry, no more links just take my word for it). I hope this discussion doesn't come off as getting people over hyped or because I'm bored. I just figured there should be more talk on the trailer with the Hobbit coming quickly. What do you all think about this?

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-25-2013 8:59 AMI wouldn't count on it. Even if there is a lot of evidence pointing towards a trailer in early December, we do not want to be too dissapointed if we don't get anything. We shouldn't expect it for-sure to happen, just as a possaibility.

Having someone who contacts WB regularly says the company is planning to show off the trailer at the Hobbit is the best lead we've gotten all year. Makes perfect sense, just hope we get a trailer before the week of the Hobbit. It's finals week and the last thing I need distracting me is a Godzilla trailer. :P
