Epic Godzilla (2014) fanart featuring the king of the monsters facing off against two legendary worlds of comic superheroes.

The most epic heroes in fiction clash to try and take down the king! Who will win? Whoever you want because, you know, they're fictional characters.

INSTINCTIVEGIGAN - Hahaha! That's incredibly magnificent art! I'll certainly have a look into the artist's portfolio - especially if his other works are as exceptional as the one you've presented here. Hmm, I'm placing my bet on Wonder Woman! Thank you very much for bringing this to us! :)

I have to go with Godzilla. There is a reason why he is King.

There is only one Marvel Character that can beat Godzilla, and that's Galactus.

This was done way back in the day during the 70's.  Marvel had a Godzilla Comic series, in which Godzilla went up agienst the likes of the Advengers, Fnatastic Four, and so on.  Godzilla always won.  DC Comics never did but, I'm not fan of either Marvel or DC Comics.  I've seen a few ofg the shows, but the super hero genre was never my forte. My money goes to Godzilla.  Superman might have a chance, but if Godzilla ingested Kryptonite (Thanks to Lex Luthor I'm sure.  That jerk always seems to be up to something.) and started radiating it, Superman would be doomed.

Tbh Im pretty sure if youre gonna have all those superheroes team up on Godzilla then they'll probably only have a chance to injure Godzilla, but maybe not defeat him.

If the writer in favor of Superman says so, then yes. If that writer likes Godzilla more, than no. Superman is an ant compared to the power of the writer.

Maybe if we're talking about fanfic writers who do whatever they want with characters, but no serious writer could completely throw years of source material out to bend the fight in Godzilla's favor, even when confronted with the hulk, superman's won everytime because you can't nerf Superman to the point other people are on his level without severe outcry from the community. So sure any writer that didn't care about their job could make anything happen; my little pony could crush superman, but by logic most won't do that.

Superman, himself, is proof of writers going far and beyond their limits. He didn't even have flight when he first appeared, and I guarantee his durability/strength wasn't as exaggerated either. And Superman has lost to Batman in Dark Knight Returns. Batman, a human-being in a batsuit. If they can get away with that, I think they can get away with anything. Comic-fans are very forgiving, comic books are filled with the most stupid stories/twists in history (Ex: Coming back from the dead, time travel, clones, etc.) and fans still love them.

Some of Godzilla's incarnations can beat Superman, again, depending on who's writing. I could make a Godzilla vs. Superman comic book and have Godzilla kick his ass. Yet people will actually use the comic as a feat for Godzilla in the future, regardless of how "fanficky" it is.

Also, I hate to be THAT guy, but technically, My Little Pony can beat Superman since he's weak to magic, and the show has given plenty of huge feats for the power of magic within it. Do you see my point? You were joking/overexaggerating, but I could make a legitimate argument about My Little Pony beating Superman. It's pointless talking about "who would win" for fiction; because it's fiction.

A video, whose title I can't remember, put it best:

Guy 1: "How do you kill a Vampire?"

Guy 2: "Uhh, garlic...sunlight, crucifixes, etc."

Guy 1: "No, you can kill a Vampire however you want, because Vampires don't exist! You can make up whatever rules you want."
