Continuity with other films? Or reboot?

These posts on GodzillaEncounter.com are probably just fan service I would guess, but this post obviously references the original film, and this post obviously references Godzilla Raids Again. Does this mean the new film takes place in continuity with at least these films, or is it just a little service to fans? I think the latter, but it would be cool if they reference the first film.

No, they are just going over the history of Godzilla. It is a total reboot. Not even the original film is in this film's canon. He will be created in this film.
