Measuring in at seven inches tall and nearly sixteen inches long from head to tail, S.H. MonsterArts have unveiled their Shin-Gojira / Godzilla Resurgence figure in high resolution! Fans of Toho's upcoming Godzilla film wishing to add Shin-Gojira to their S.H. MonsterArts collection will need to start saving now as the collectible figure comes with a $129.00 price tag. Check out some high resolution photos of the upcoming figure below:
The prototype of S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2016) was created from the 3D data that was used for "Godzilla: Resurgence". The sculpt was overseen by Takayuki Takeya and his colleagues who worked on the maquette for "Godzilla: Resurgence" to reproduce the most authentic Shin Godzilla. It reproduces the coloring, distinctive body surface, unevenly growing teeth, and finely sculpted nails. It includes the most advanced articulation engineering, a wide range of motion of the whole body, and includes a new movable mechanism in the mouth. This gives Godzilla the ability to have a wide variety of facial expressions.
S.H. MonsterArts' Shin-Gojira will hit shelves this November in Japan. A North American release date has yet to be revealed.
