Tamashii Nations has revealed two new S.H.MonsterArts figures. They are both repaints of previous figures and are called "Biollante Special Color Version" and "Godzilla 2001 Radiant Heat Ray Version." The figures are scheduled to be displayed at an event on July 4th in Japan, but some vendors and sites were able to get early previews of the upcoming figures.
Fans have been clamoring for a new Biollante figure from S.H.MonsterArts for years now. This is due to the fact that the original release is extremely rare and costs well over $1,000 online. However, it seems that fans need not worry about forking over thousands of dollars for the figure anymore.
A more formal announcement with official pricing, release dates, and additional images will likely arrive from Tamashii Nations soon.
