The sequel to Gareth Edwards low budget directorial debut Monsters; Monsters: Dark Continent, will hit cinema screens September 28th. Produced by the Godzilla director and directed by Tom Green, the eagerly awaited sequel follows a US soldier as he searches for a fellow US soldier whom has gone rogue deep within the infected zone separating the US and Mexico where the tentacled monstrosities first spawned in the first movie now thrive. Accompaned by a green, wet-eared cadet and a mysterious woman the sodier must fight for survival against the space-born monsters on a mission that could uncover the horrifying truth behind the monster pandemic.

The sequel stars Johnny Harris (The Last Days on Mars), Sam Keeley (The Borgias), Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones) and Sofia Boutella (Streetdance 2). Today sees the release of the new, jaw droppping "Goliath" trailer for Monsters: Dark Continent, shown below.
