Cameras have officially started to roll for the next Monsterverse entry! The upcoming and currently untitled Godzilla x Kong sequel has touched down in Queensland, Australia and has officially started filming, according to Kaitlyn Denver, one of the film's actors! Speaking to 7News Australia during a press junket for The Last of Us Season 2 of which she also stars in, Denver exclaimed:

I’m shooting another film in Queensland right now, so I just popped down to Sydney for all of this press then I’m going back there.
When the reporter asked if she was referring to Godzilla, she confirmed it was.
The next Godzilla film for Legendary is being directed by Grant Sputore based on a screenplay by Dave Callaham. While a title and proper plot synopsis have yet to be released, the most recent update about the film's plot came from a Deadline report which claimed that the new movie is described as a continuation of the franchise centering Godzilla, Kong and an assortment of other Titans. Insiders say that while Kong and Godzilla will still be fronting the film, Legendary is looking to build on its human characters.
