Godzilla x Kong (2024) official title revealed with new teaser trailer!

I don't think that's Kong sitting on that throne... that ape looks way too lanky and menacing to be the "Kong" that we know...

I legit think that it's a KongZilla.  Anyways I'm betting we'll get our first real trailer at SDCC 2023.

I just figured it out. It's Lanky Kong!

He's mad that he didn't get a cameo in the new Mario movie and now he's going to take his anger out on the world!

That's also a valid point.  But I still stand by my KongZilla theory.

Definitely a Kong species teased as a potential new villain and competitor for the throne. I will admit however, I was hoping for a more original Monster to be the antagonist for the sequel. A Kong knock-off just seems lazy.

They hinted at the idea of Kong finding other members of his species in the Hollow Earth during the events of GvK. We know that Kong wants to find more of his kind, so the idea of him finding another Kong or a tribe of Kongs that turn out to be more violent and warlike (in contrast to his more benevolent nature) could be pretty interesting. Kong would then have to choose between joining them (finally having the family he always wanted) or fighting against them to protect the world.

Is the title a ship name or smth?

Never would've expected Legendary to bring back the "x" from the Millennium series. Interesting. Good title.
