G-Fest XXVII (2020) has officially been canceled. The information was revealed in an email that was recently sent out to ticket holders for the event and was later posted on all official G-Fest social platforms.
While this information is disappointing, it is unfortunately not surprising given the current worldwide situation and all of the other recent convention cancelations. However, there are currently no plans to alter next year's G-Fest.
It has also been announced that G-Fest will be held at a new venue starting with next year's event. The new location will be the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, which is practically right across the street from the event's old venue. G-Fest 2021 is scheduled to take place from July 9 - 11.
