I found one on ebay for $120 I had to pay 144 because I live up north and the currency is different, there is one on amazon right now but it is at least 300-400 dollars
Man, I haven't seen a Bandai MMS Keizer Ghidorah anywhere--Even when Final Wars came out.
My two rarest figurines would have to be my SH Monsterarts Godzilla 2014 Poster Version which was limited to 8000 pieces and my other would be my Bandai Movie Monster Series Keizer Ghidorah
Suuuuuper hype inducing. I really am falling in love with this Mechagodzilla design. I'd be willing to bet this film will set up Mothra, but I doubt we'll see her until the third film, as this film will probably focus mainly on Godzilla and Mechagodzilla's duel. I also know it isn't a practical thing, but I DO hope Mechagodzilla has a roar and I really hope it's amazing. Kiryu's half machine, half Millennium roar was haunting. I want something akin to that for this one.
You know, looking at Mechagodzilla further, he kinda looks like he's got guns sticking out from him all over.
I'm super hyped! Godzilla Earth! MechaGodzilla! Mothra! Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S. 20,000 years later!
Update:
Changed the title to Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, updated the new poster, banner, cast, directors, writer and new synopsis.
Added Pacific Rim: Uprising to the list above and updated its poster.
Well the synopsis mentions that the Houtua "god" left behind eggs, so I have a feeling we'll at least be seeing a larval Mothra in this film. Hiroyuki Seshita all but confirmed it in a recent publicity event when he said "If I mention there's a small girl talking about an egg, I don't need to tell rumor-sensitive people what that means, right?" Plus the Houtua's emblem has a very strong resemblance to a moth.
This confirms it.
Mothra DOES exist in this continuity.... or at least she did before she died. Also, I had a feeling there was something special about the nanometal that Mechagodzilla was composed of.
This new information seems to imply that it can be used to quickly build up Mechagodzilla and other weaponry necessary to take on Godzilla Earth.
The official site has been updated too, with an English synopsis, and we now have the official English title for the movie: Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle. The two Shobijin-like twins on the poster are also named Miana and Maina, according to the website. All of the main cast from the previous film except Daisuke Ono are confirmed to be reprising their roles as well.
As for how Mechagodzilla can match Godzilla Earth's size, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the "autonomous thinking" nanometal he's supposedly built from.
stoked for this! im sure the "Mobile Breeder City" will be an entire battle ground built on taking Godzilla. But the size of Godzilla Earth might be too much for an ancient city and mecha unit
Building a mecha G the size of the Godzilla earth.. well.. that would take a tremendous amount of resources and manpower. I don't think a 300 foot mecha G would stand a chance against a 900 foot G. This should be interesting to watch.
With all this Godzilla stuff they're putting they should really put Godzilla there even if it's a cameo. Nothing can suit the original theme other than Godzilla, it sort of signifies him and all.
I'm thinking that Mechagodzilla is merely the face of the ultimate countermeasure against Godzilla Earth.
See, Godzilla's no longer gonna be fighting just the ragtag crew of the Aratrum, nor is he just fighting the Bilusaludo superweapon known as Mechagodzilla. He's gonna be fighting an entire city built to defeat him!
....Is what I'm guessing might be what's gonna happen. I could be wrong :P
That is awesome. However, it does raise a few questions. Does MechaGodzilla get rebuilt to be bigger than Godzilla Earth or does Godzilla Earth somehow get shrunk down in size? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it? Whatever. That's still an awesome poster.
I like it! It looks like Mechagodzilla is being poised as the ultimate weapon!
I'm really digging this poster.
This sounds so badass!
Today, March 17th, marks the 45th anniversary of Godzilla vs. Megalon! To celebrate, I have published the prologue to the GNP's novelization of the movie! Consider it a birthday gift to a film I have loved since childhood.
Read the prologue to Godzilla vs. Megalon: The Unofficial Novelization here!
What excellent news! This movie is shaping up to be a real treat for kaiju fans! 12 days to go!
If Ifukube’s theme is in the movie, then are the rumors of Godzilla, King Ghidorah, and Megalon true?
Another new chapter. Whole bunch of monsters.
Sounds like fun.
Yes!!! I am absolutly crazy about Cloververse right now, so to have chance to catch Clover in IMAX will be dream come true. One of the most exciting movie this year became THE most epic, thanks to this guy. Other kaijus are sweet too, but my heart now belongs to one and only Clovie. It’s still alive!!!
I'm not generally a fan of escape rooms, but at least this one seems interesting. Probably solely because it's Godzilla.
Personally, Im surprised it isn't Mechagodzilla from 74 or 75. I would think that version would be a little more recognizable than Kiryu in the pop culture world.
Plus its my favorite mechagodzilla out of the 3. But in this case Im still excited for seeing these monsters in a Spielberg movie. Even if the cameo scenes are brief.
^for this monsterverse to continue I would have to agree with you. with K:SI having soo many MUTO's in it along with the MUTO's from G14, Monarch could have a MUTO classification by now right? with Ghidorah and Mothra and Rodan in the mix I would hope they introduce us to something like that.
This is awesome. Keep it up.
I heard it's gonna be Kiryu, I hope so since it is my favourite iteration of MechaGodzilla.
A little bit, though with some clear differences.
I highlighted how "strange" types of M.U.T.O. should have alternate classifications that are separate from mere size indicators.
@TheGMan123 Are you saying that the Monsterverse should do what Pacific Rim basically does for its kaiju?
Amazing, but at the same time, a bit skeptical. That is the summary of my opinion on this topic.
It might have been just an isolated event.
^
See? This guy understands.
Well, at least the design looks good.
I don't think that is King Ghidorah, but it seems suspicious that something meant to be in a movie that came out 10 years ago would only just now be revealed. Something strange is going on here, but I don't think that is King Ghidorah.
So much for "No spoilers".
Not sure whether or not if I should say "no spoilers". Oh wait, I just said it.
Lol.
