You all seem to forget Rodan is in GKOTM too, and remember, he usually walks on two legs, not on his legs and wings. If this logic is implied, that should mean that they should stay true to the originals. What I'm wondering is how they would do motion capture for King Ghidorah (i.e. the legs for the two legs, and the arms - will they be the wings or the two other heads?).

I don't think his role as George would be an indication he's a wing walker (I hope not anyway). He's only one of a few actors playing King Ghidorah, we have no idea what their background is either.

I do wonder if TJ Storm will return as Godzilla.

I like the idea of King Ghidorah walkin on all fours, it gives him a little bit more bulk not only that, considering this may be the biggest King Ghidorah incarnation to date (Not including Keizer Ghidorah), it would make sense to use his wings to support his massive weight

^yes that was my concern. If the albino ape in Rampage moved on all fours, and the character was animated using motion capture method, would they hire the actor based on those abilities alone? I sure hope not. I think that trope has been used enough lately. IMO, King Ghidorah should stand upright. Revealing his size and imitating strength. Crawling around on all fours would make him look weak and less intimating.

I like the idea of motion capture being utilized in a Godzilla movie, I am sure they will use it for Kong in 2020. Its like a modern version of tokusatsu. Well... almost.

I just hope King Ghidorah moves like you would expect him too. I don't mind motion capture, I just don't want Ghidorah moving on four limbs like Smaug or in the picture above (which I am aware is not an official image of Ghidorah)

Actually, that got me thinking. Can you imagine if after being defeated by Godzilla in Final Wars, Anguirus, Rodan, and King Caesar all committed seppuku?

@MinecraftDinoKaiju Seppuku is a traditional way of a Samurai taking their lives for failure to complete a task.

You're welcome for the question. And btw, pretty sure only the 2014 version got a novelization, and even then, pretty sure it was a "prequel" (It's in quotes because it's not really a prequel.). Unless there is a link to where both of these can be found, pretty sure it's just the 2014 that has one.

Oh gosh, plz don't start with the "no spoilerz or I'll commit seppuku". I've seen enough of that trash with Infinity War that it's starting to make me want to commit seppuku myself.

Rampage was a solid movie.  It'll be nice to see a similar effort in the motion capture.

^Good question!  I actually will not be tackling those films, as English language novelizations of both films already exist, officially published to coincide with each film's respective theatrical release.  They can still be found easily online, as well.  For the most part, the GNP will focus on bringing fans novelizations to films that don't have English novelizations already.

That said, I'd LOVE to one day tackle some stories from those films' universes, such as adapting episodes of the 1998 GODZILLA: The Series into short stories or novellas.  I think that would be fun, and an excuse to do some writing in the continuities of the Hollywood films.

the Gorosaurus forum is done. It will be uploaded upcoming Monday morning so look out for it. I could release it now, but I want to keep the 2 week gab between forums. In the forum, you might find a part of the story that references a certain controversial Godzilla kaiju.

Are you going to make another list if you decide to create another story after Godzilla: Uprising? If so, can it please include Battra, Mothra Leo, Zilla, Zilla Jr., Kiryu, Legendary Godzilla, the MUTOs, and Megaguirus, along with Super X II, Super X III, and Destoroyah? Please?

Can it include the Xilliens, Battra, and Zilla?

Looks like a cross between Shin Godzilla & Legendary's 2014. I DO agree I'm not a Big fan of the head, looks like GMK Godzilla, but as long as next movie has WAY MORE screen time for GODZILLA & WAY LESS for humans & soldiers (my big complaint for 2014) then I'll be happy.

This has been floating around for quite some time now. Not to mention, he has the finished product already now. The Twitter account you ask of is "Tanaka Studio." No, it is not an official studio. It is his own website. The sculptor makes models like these and sells them. He has also done Shin Godzilla and Godzilla Earth. He did those two after the designs and movies released. This on the other hand, is his own interpretation of what he thinks the 2019 design will look like. No, this is absolutely no confirmation that this is or isn't legitimate, however, upon researching more in to his website, it is all fan made.
