^If there was a quote option, it's the only reply we'd need.
"A mutated collection of sea-life"
Do people STILL believe that? I thought it had been nipped in the bud by now.
In almost all cases I wouldn't call Godzilla a dinosaur--Just some previously unclassified prehistoric creature.
The Showa Godzilla was said to be an evolutionary cross between land-going (dinosaurs) and sea-going prehistoric creatures. The Millennium Godzillas seem to have a similar origin based on their continuity.
The only one I'd say is truly a "dinosaur" is the Heisei Godzilla since he was a mutated from one.
Stupid is no option.... explain your ignorant comment....
Well Godzilla origins depends on the movie or continuity era.
Showa: A Radioactive Unnamed Dinosaur
Heisei: A Mutated Radioactive Godzillasaurus Dinosaur
Tri-Star: A radioactive mutated Marine Iguana Lizard.
Millennium: A radioactive Dinosaur or Vengeful fusion of WWII Imperial Japanese sailor spirits.
Monsterverse: A Radioactive Dinosauromorph
Shin-Godzilla: A mutated collection of sea-life and possibly a human?
Anime: A Plant or a Plant-based lifeform.
Makes me more hyped for the film. How is Godzilla Earth going to fight against an opponent he can't touch and who can deflect his Atomic Breath?
Gotta say, you did a pretty good job on the suit from what I can see.
Man, Ghidorah is just pooping all over Godzilla Earth.
He is not taking ANY of his crap! I guess the God of Void truly is worthy of the name.
Honestly I love it

I made all the suits, directed and was prop supervisor/production worker for Wisconsin Godzilla.
Awesome! He better survive the oxygen destroyer and break alot of buildings! I re-edited my Godzilla 56 so the oxygen destroyer provokes the attack on Tokyo after the sea disasters and he never dies. I volunteer to direct this short film and play Godzilla. I will stomp Tokyo wearing that sweet suit. check out my Wisconsin Godzilla on YouTube. I got xp. -Omar Sayyah
Of course, we never learned how exactly he accomplished this. The films never really provided onscreen feats or dialogue to support this notion, so I appreciate that Ghidorah controlling gravity like a black hole in this version makes it tangible and usable in discussion.
^It was more than vague. They said in the original film, Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster, that he destroyed Venus (in sub. Mars in dub).
Also, he does actually have a true body.
Presumably, it's in the void and he just uses astral projections of his heads and necks to do the dirty work. Whether this astral form is what destroyed Exifcalus or if it was his true body is unknown, though.
You know, I kinda like how Ghidorah here is a legitimate confirmed planet destroyer. Basically making the vague allusions in the Showa era the definitive standard.
@charlieghidorah
You're obviously very young and/or a new fan. The original King Kong vs. Godzilla is one of the most beloved installments of the Godzilla franchise and also one of the most financially successful movies in Japanese box office history. It's absolutely fantastic to have the chance again to see the two granddads of the kaiju genre back again to fight in an updated bout.
Wait for the freaking movie to come out before you bash it and judge it, there's absolutely no sense in doing otherwise, especially if you call yourself a fan.
DarthRaptor97,
He only has three heads here.
I feel like that this version of King Ghidorah is stupid. It's not even a dragon. It's just a flying snakes or something and last i check, King Ghidorah has three heads, not more.
I would have to disagree. Godzilla and Kong are quite equally matched in my opinion.
Godzilla might have better armor, more battle experience and the atomic breath, but Kong has the speed, physical strength and intelligence to back it up. Off course I am for team Godzilla, but I am not saying that because Kong has no chance at winning.
Also, this doesn't mean Kong would have to be more powerful than Ghidorah to have a chance. We have to remember that Godzilla will likely have to fight Ghidorah with Mothra and (possibly) Rodan on his side. Alone Godzilla would not defeat Ghidorah, he still needs some help. If godzilla has to fight alone against Kong, Kong might have a bigger chance to win then you think.
Yesssssss, Scarlet Godzilla Earth retuuuuuurns. I'm glad they're using that model once more. Loved it in City, so I'm glad it's not going to waste for one scene, only.
Little late, but pretty good. My only real issue is the inconsistency in the titling. Going from Japanese to English Americanizations. Like with Shin Godzilla and Shin Gojira. That, and the use of vignette. Also another thing I'd just make a bit more consistent is using a squared off vignette only, for example, over a mix of circular/squared off ones. But they look official and good. I would totally print these out for use, myself.
Yay, she's ok! Yuko is sort-of ok! And Godzilla is on fire. He's burning. Maybe his Atomic Breath will go Spiral Red against King Ghidorah Void? Yes, I'm still calling him that.
i think g vs kong its gonna sucks .. G vs ghidorah its gonna be golden epic hope so..2 real monsters 2 beast of the beast
KONG ITS A JOKE after saw mothra, rodan and ghidora
really ?? after saw king ghidorah in the trailer of G ..kong its a joke dude ..
Man, I'd hate to be the guy in the ocean with Godzilla swimming about.
Or maybe I'd love it, who knows? :P
This is really intriguing wish I was there to see those pictures
They are showing Rodan mothra ghidora and godzilla not just mothra
Here's another image, thanks to Huge-Ben!

Congrats on creating the most ignorant post I've seen on this site to date.
And here's the first, just in time for the old man's birthday!

I don't know... but to me... that could very well be a claw from Ghidorah's wing arm. He is over 512 feet tall and that makes him much larger than Godzilla... so his foot would have to be much larger and be able to support his weight... and that does not look as though it could support that kind of mass... but maybe he is more dragon like and his body may be lighter because of that... which would make sense and he would have bird like feet as opposed to stumpy feet with toes. Smaug had feet and claws... and if this render of Ghidorah has that... I'm good with it.
What I want to know is this... will there be a mega kaiju in the third installment the brings G and KK together in order to defeat it ?
That looks like a MUTO on supercharged steroids.
What the hell Tonga ask Dubois ?... what is all of this stuff above? It has nothing to do with the topic at all... and frankly does not belong here.
Yea, I agree with Durp, just the fact that something is different isn't enough. It's very possible for a film to be different and still go well with the fanbase. I think the fact that so many Godzilla fans are just "meh" about their movies is more telling than anything.
I hate this trend directors try to pass of criticism as though being different alone deserves some call for applause. Intentional divisiveness? That's a ludicrous statement.
MinecraftDinoKaiju, Don't worry, I understand the humor. Besides, I have had confidence in this film since Michael Dougherty's IGN interview where he said Ghidorah shoots Gravity Beams out of mouth and admitted to being a Godzilla fan. I'm confident the film will be good. Since I saw Godzilla had his dorsal plates shaped in the traditional look and the Atomic Breath was displayed with more power, I have had faith in this film. It'll be fine.
This Is Going to be Dope
Also to me, That doesn't look like King Ghidorah. It's just looks like a three head snake. Last i check, King Ghidorah is a three headed dragon, not a snake. But Godzilla 2: King of the monsters King Ghidorah will be better then this one.
