Also to me, That doesn't look like King Ghidorah. It's just looks like a three head snake. Last i check, King Ghidorah is a three headed dragon, not a snake. But Godzilla 2: King of the monsters King Ghidorah will be better then this one.
What Made me a big G fan is watching Godzilla vs Destroyah will my brother.
Bold move Cotton, let's see if it pays off.
These films are average but you got to remember there trying something new we have never seen this before in a Godzilla Movie Checkout My achannel for a video about later this week
It's refreshing to see the filmmakers take the criticisms in stride and give some of their own thoughts on the state of things.
Rebecca Hall confirmed for a lead role in the movie!
There's not enough gushing in the world to cover this one, so needless to say *drooool
90%. I probably benefited from working on Wikizilla, since it requires me to delve into a lot of behind-the-scenes and staff-related information. Still, a very in-depth quiz and even with my familiarity with the material I only just barely scored an A-.
The clouds blackens as the thunder grew louder, a titanic shadow was cast over Tark and his clan. The game stampede away as the shadowy cloud spread His wings. Tark stared up at the stormy sky as the shadowy winged figure, He has three long serpentine necks each ending with a draconic head. "Ghi-dorah! Ghi-dorah!" Tark shouted aloud as he points to the kaiju dragon. King Ghidorah licks his triad of toothed jaws as he stares out at the frozen steppes, with a flap of his wings; a blizzard form. King Ghidorah smites the stampeding herd and feed on their smoked carcasses.
Tark and his clan were certain this was their doom but then came a thunderous roar, it was Legendary Godzilla. The titanic beast charged across the frozen steppes. Great King Ghidorah left head flickered his tongue curiously, the right head snarled, and the central head grinned maliciously. Arrogantly, Great King Ghirodah charged forth, believing he could kill this annoying reptile kaiju but Legend Goji managed to grab Ghirodah's right and left heads from biting him. Ghidorah's central head's eyes eyes widen in shock at his opponents strength but Ghidorah wasn't going to go down without a fight. He summoned up his radioactive energy through his three necks before releasing his gravity beam at Legend goji's neck. Godzilla released Ghirdoah's right head which then retaliated back at Godzilla, however Godzilla wasn't going to release Ghirdorah's left head without a fight. Godzilla mustered up his radioactive energy, his lower spikes began to glow a bright blue before the next row of spikes started to "turn on". Godzilla inhaled deep before opening his jaws to release his atomic breath at the alien dragon. Ghidorah roared and hissed as his body was being scorched by the atomic blue fire, he flapped his wings to gain lift off as well as sacrificing their left head before taking to the skies.
Well I went in expecting a 80+ saw it was a lot of background and production questions and my expectations plummeted, so I guess a 63 isn't that bad.
Sci-Fi King25, I think those are Ghidorah's feet. Given that we recently were shown a snap shot of his foot, which is more talon shaped over the usual flat foot we see, this would make sense.
I just keep finding reasons become more hyped for this film. So, Godzilla and Ghidorah are ancient enemies. This is a given fact. Mothra joins the fight to defend the Earth. This could mean that the King and Queen fought together because Ghidorah was too much for Godzilla alone. This just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for them to show us what Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah's new designs look like.

Super Muto! So cool. I can't wait to see what it's capable of in battle. I also want to know its name.
Seeing as most of the monsters in this painting are focussing on Ghidorah, I am pretty certain that we will get a team up battle in the movie (at least I hope).
I got an 83% although I didn’t know some of them so I just guessed
Are the arms and hands to the right supposed to be Ghidorah’s or something else?
It's been insinuated by both fans and Toho that Mothra never really dies, she's just reborn over and over again--Particularly the Showa incarnation. I've always loved that it has never been outright stated, just breadcrumbs leave us to wonder if that's the case. It'd be cool if that was Dougherty's intention here as well.
I would venture to guess that Rodan is simply not in this image. Those shadows above that individual to the right, I’m guessing, are native people on horses aiding in the attack against Ghidorah. I would also say that the white shadows on Godzilla’s leg are also native people not on horseback this time. That’s just my two-cents worth. This does just super hype me up for the movie and the fact that I’m wishing away the better part of a year for May 31st!
^^Interface for the site seems a little borked, was going to edit my post when I realized I misspelled "Spartan" but the page won't let me. Am suspicious of X-Seijin inteference, or some manner of anti-MONARCH terrorist group.
I love how the painting makes it look like some Sparten-esque warriors with spears were ramping off of Godzilla's thighs to get some air and attack the super dragon. The ancient times version of MONARCH :)
If it wasn't obvious enough, it should be clear by now that Godzilla and King Ghidorah have indeed tussled before.
Okay, so Mothra has faced Ghidorah too? Makes me wonder how Rodan will play into this. He's gotta have some crucial role
Soooo is the movie going to tie directly into this comic? Because if it's an epic battle, it would be pretty awkward for the movie to pretend it didn't happen.
Looks like a really swole MUTO :P
The lovechild of the female MUTO, Orga and Obsidian.
Just pre-ordered the comic yesterday, now for the wait.
The new monsters head kinda looks like a Xenomorph's head.
KingKaijuGojira Don't you mean "Please let it be good."? Lol :) (The comment was meant to be a combination of a joke and my opinion. Please don't take it seriously and read all of this before commenting. Thanks. MDK, signing out.)
Hope that's not a spoiler somehow. Also, since my first comment on this forum, I changed my mind, and I actually find my old argument to be dumb. Also, I agree with everyone else. So for now, I reserve my judgement. We'll see when the film comes out. Thanks for reading. MDK, signing out.
...Serizawa will die in KOM
A Batman v Superman scenario could work for KK v G... only because it's a depiction of two fan favorite characters and no one really wants to see the death of either. KK is the last of his kind. Godzilla may be the last of his kind but no one knows for sure. The title King and God are very distinct. Since Ghidorah is referred to as King... and Kong is as well... but Godzilla is referred to as a God... And Mothra is sort of a Queen... then Rodan could very well be a Dark Knight so to speak. I personally think that Ghidorah will be totally defeated in the KOM... but there will be another Kaiju/Titan that remains a secret... and that KK and Godzilla will have to fight in the third movie. KK may very well be the victor but not by defeating Godzilla... but by helping Godzilla overcome a greater threat to both. Either way... I'm excited about the prospects and possibilities. Actors are just there to support the story line. The real characters are the Kaiju. They are what is going to make the movies great. Cranston made 2014 G worth watching only because he drew you in to his plight. KOM I think will deliver because the cast they have now... looks promising. I think Serizawa is going to die in KOM.
Please let this be true
True, Durp. It's meant to be a tie-in, so I suspect it will keep inline with the film's plot elements.
I'm not opposed to this, I too am waiting until I see the film before I really pass any judgement.
I expect this to be a lot more in line with the movies since they're releasing it into a known universe with a plan rather than 1 standalone movie that might get a sequel.
Looking forward to this. In spite of the lackluster action scene art progression on the last one I rather liked it, and I don't care about all the fan griping about how it may or may not "fit" into the Monsterverse. Far as I care it's a chapter of this universe, sometimes give it a quick read before seeing G14 again.
@MinecraftDinoKaiju Can we as fans stop this trend of predicting or assuming garbage before we ever see the film? What's a bad idea? Having ACTORS in the film? Having the Kong vs Godzilla match up? What are you even talking about?
