Best design since Godzilla 2000. I love the plates, still cringe at the gills but the rest looks AWESOME!!! Godzilla 2019 makes shin and Earth look like shit! Grow plates like Godzilla 2000 to fight Kong and KICK THE DEMI-KING'S ASS!!!! Please be nice to Lord Ghidorah and Rodan.

Godzilla: Loved the 2014 design and the adjustments done have made it even better. 5/5
King Ghidorah: First of all, it seems that he wont be a wingwalker in this movie which is a good thing. the rest of his design is awsome in my opinion. the heads remind me of heisei and Ghidorah just looks so much more reptilian and dragon like. 5/5
Rodan: ones again a great design. He has way more pteradon aspects which is a good thing in my opinion. The head just screams Showa for me. Rodan's red coloring and the fire makes me think that they used Fire Rodan as an inspiration source for this design. 5/5
Mothra: Mothra is the one I am not sure about. They made her look more like a moth which just makes sense at the end of the day. Her wings and the colors on the other hand are 100% mothra. even with the more moth like appearence, the colors are bassicly the same as her previous designs and I am very happy with that. 3/5
Really like the Rodan and Ghidorah.
Holy Shit. This is going to be awesome and the best Godzilla movie ever.
Is it me or does there seem to be more attention on KK vs G these days as opposed to the next movie ? They should have started with KK vs G then did King of the Monsters. I hope that KOM shows that Godzilla is the good guy and that it carries over to the next film and that there is another Kaiju that we do not know about that will force G and KK to fight together after fighting each other. One more thing... I do not want to see Godzilla lose to Kong... especially after the success of KOM... in my opinion. There may be a winner... and I hope it's the fans... because I frankly do not want to see this incarnation of Godzilla get the villain treatment. I think the first movie (2014) set the tone for how we can be certain of what this rendering of this version of Godzilla is to be.

No not Mothra. Only Godzilla in this frame. However I suspect we'll be seeing more Monsters unveiled in their own stills very soon. They'll probably keep Ghidorah's full view a secret until the film's premiere though. Just a hunch.

Yep ^ I actually find it looks more realistic than daylight action shots. Pacific Rim vs. Pacific Rim Uprising is a great example of night vs. daylight action in relation to CGI. Way more epic with lightening too.

Is it just me or are Godzilla's spines lighting up a lot in this movie? I like it though. Maybe this is because Godzilla is in some sort of powered-up stage or maybe this is just an artistic direction.
Anyway, I am so excited for this movie and I can't wait for the trailer :)!!!

Biollante was revolutionary because she was the first new female Kaiju since Mothra in the 1950's. However, I do agree with you!
Anyone listen to the audio file of Ghidorah? I heard the original Showa Ghidorah hums towards the end of it.

That's one of Godzilla's 5th forms from the end of Shin Godzilla.
I sure hope that TOHO gives the green light on future films featuring Godzilla. It would be financially sound for them to do so in my opinion. The monsterverse can take the same steps as Marvel did. It worked well for Marvel... and it could work well for Legendary Pictures too. Again... in my opinion.
^ ok so we do have about half of the AIP dubs on disc that's good to know and I'm happy that I have most of the godzilla movies on VHS only missing Godzilla's Revenge and Godzilla vs Hedorah which sucks because it has the AIP dub on it
The only Titra/Titan dubs released on DVD or Blu-ray were:
Mothra '61 (on the Icons of Sci-Fi: Toho Collection released by Sony)
Mothra vs. Godzilla (by Classic Media & is out-of-print)
Frankenstein Conquers the World [sorta] (by Media Blasters/Tokyo Shock--Although it's a weird reconstruction that doesn't use the actual AIP cut. In any case it's out-of-print)
Destroy All Monsters (by Media Blasters, but only the out-of-print first edition)
The rest were only on VHS releases. Though the AIP dub of Hedorah was also released on Laserdisc.

In Godzilla we trust ? Interesting take on in God we trust. Godzilla is the good guy. So that may very well mean he will be a good guy in KK vs G... and the likelihood of a team up against a bad guy may be a reality.
I had read something some time ago where someone asked Dougherty about making changes to Godzilla's physical attributes/characteristics and he answered that Godzilla is an evolving organism and left it at that. Other than that I certainly have no inside scoop on that info, but am looking forward to what the reasoning is, if any, and I'm happy with the changes I've seen so far.
In any case. Don't expect the EMP to be brought up. There is a reason Godzilla's breath looks like it does and it's hardly a "minutiae" of a plot point--And you've technically already seen it in the trailer.
