Maybe if there was some concept art of them here, then maybe I may make a proper opinion on the matter, but at the moment, I want to say that that's why Rodan's in KOTM, but again, need some concept art to say otherwise.

I meant between Godzilla films.  When 2014 came out we knew they'd greenlit a sequel, but it took a good while for it to finally get into production, and we didn't immediately know about Kong, that's all I was talking about.  I loved Skull Island immensely, don't misunderstand, I was strictly speaking about G-Films.

What 5 year wait, YukiSpecial? Kong: Skull Islans is also part of the Monsterverse!

Not surprising after Fast & Furious 9 moved to May 22nd. GvK was going to get killed. A little surprised it was moved to an earlier date though. Luckily it won't face any competition until two weeks later when Mulan comes out--And by then I expect the movie will have largely run out of momentum.

Only a 10 month gap between installments now, neatly makes up for the 5 year wait methinks. 

Basically, with radiovores, it's more akin to overbloat from nutrition consumption when they consume too much radiation.

Some animals can in fact explode if they eat too much; the weird properties of nuclear radiation probably result in unique properties.

Resurgence: Species die from poisoning, they not explode and take the rest of the world with it, as Godzilla would have done. That is not poisoning.

I've only ordered King Ghidorah from the Monsterarts line to make up for the absence of it in the Neca line, otherwise utilizing Neca for all the other characters, because unfortunately as superb as the Monsterarts line is collecting the whole set would easily set one back over half a grand.  No regrets though on the purchase, the Monsterarts Ghidorah is a work of art and it will absolutely sit perfectly beside the Neca line.  Now we sit back, sip our drinks and wait.

But to be technical that may just be how his species deals with radiation poisoning because I believe with regular poisoning different species react differently

Resurgence: On your point about Godzilla vs Destroyah, the big G did not suffer from radiation posioning per se, but a meltdown, not the same thing as a poisoning. Bascially, big G suffered from a runaway nuclear fission in his heart.  But he is not "poisoned" by radiation.

Resurgence Just some advice from me (Since I've been here since Nov 6, 2017, [On my other account, my MinecraftDinoKaiju account.] which would make me a year-old website member at the moment.): If you don't (or in your case, didn't) want spoilers, leave something that states that it is a non-spoiler topic or that it is you're avoiding spoilers, or (maybe better) before people leave comments, tell them to not say any spoilers in their comments. You're welcome.

If we're lucky, Fast and Furious 9 might actually be bad, and GvK may be saved. But if it is good, then it will have to be pushed back. Either way, let's just wait and see.

I don't think it is actually burning Godzilla it's just an artistic rendering of one of the scenes in the trailer because Jakks Pacific didn't want to put out the same figures same paint style twice and I've been purposefully avoiding spoilers I do however believe he will be getting a power up

Other than that, I don't think Godzilla is getting radiation poisoning, although that would be a good topic to talk about when it comes to Kong in GvK.
