I was referring to Metallurgy, not physics there two different fields of study. doing a Fanfiction thesis on how I feel titanus Ghidorah that I will be posting here and using my FF.net account. however, I feel the reason the middle has ventral scales is to enable it to escape to and start regeneration.
Kinda hard to say if he needs to actually breathe to gain energy as he seems to be able to draw energy via absorbing it from bites, from radiated heat like that of Rodan's volcano to gain extra energy. however, given he is coated in a great conductor he likely can draw energy from the dust and gas clouds in space via friction when between solar systems, gamma-ray bursts, solar radiation, cosmic rays and other high energy sources of radiation well in a solar system would be a great buffet for him. when on a planet it's likely he can get some energy from the friction of gases going over his scales along with radiation sources, like titan blood. so he does not necessarily need to breathe for anything other than his sonar calls and he may need to inhale gas or dust to fire his Gravity beams and the electrical blast he emits after draining the power grid of Boston could be what he uses when fighting in space.
Since I saw KotM, I always speculated that Ghidorah would be a biological weapon sent by the aliens (like the Pacific Rim Kaijus) because it is larger and more gifted with weapons than any kaiju as if none of its weapons were enough alone to survive , being in itself the greatest titan (3 heads breaks the course of nature).
I like to think that its origin was similar to Gryphon, using DNA from different species for its creation: snake, eagle, bat and some alien(s) species. One factor that supports this theory is that apart from the fact that your physicist does not look very "alien", he also shows some minor defects in his body like the ventral scales (the snakes have them to crawl on the ground, which Ghidorah does not need).
However, I doubt that he can survive in space (by my logic, he breathes another gas other than O2), I think he came more to the earth through a probe that released him as soon as he entered the atmosphere.
And yes, I know that the Nostalgia Critic is far from the best reviewer on the Internet, but doggone it, I've had this joke in my mind since I saw this in the credits and I just had to do it.
Yeah, Ultraman Noa is pretty much God in the Ultra universe and I don't think you'd need to go that far to pulverize Godzilla. Ultraman Max or Ultraman Zero would probably be plenty, if still overkill.
Gundam,Ultraman, and Voltron have an 100% chance of beating Godzilla. These guys are too fast and can can easily destroy planets. Hell, there are Gundams that can destroy galaxies and Voltron is taking power from a whole universe of magic science thing that can do anything. Godzilla is getting wrecked. I think some of you guys overestimate the big guy. These guys are way above Godzilla’s pay grade lol.
Wait, why is the Iron Giant on this list? Isn't his whole shtick supposed to be that he doesn't want to be a weapon anymore?

All three EVA units were thrashed by Godzilla even as they ganged up on him. And Godzilla's ray broke through King Ghidorah's AT field, supposedly killing Ghidorah as well.

Well, let's hope it turns out to be good. I don't know much about the whole Death Note debacle or whatever, but I hope the film lives up to his enthusiasm.
And let's see how many people see that photo and start thinking that they'll actually use balloons to move Kong around in this movie. :)

Honestly though, If we're talking about skull island Kong, the monkey gets cooked alive. If we're talking about 2020 Kong, things get more complicated. Rodan has a max heat of 1200 degrees celsius, or 2192 fahrenhiet. Kong is gonna be scorched by that sort of heat. However, Kong most likely can resist atomic breath to a certain extent. Kong is still going to get burned, however. Eventually, Kong will beat Rodan, but not without a fight.
I would love to go to the Shinjuku Gracery Hotel.
