All of you guys are right.  But here's my idea based on evidence.

There will be 3 battles between Godzilla and Kong.  The first fight will be the aircraft carrier fight.  Godzilla is totally going to win that one.  The 2nd fight will be in Hong Kong, and I think they will be interrupted by MechaGodzilla, and I think Kong will be KO'd by Mecha G, and Godzilla is almost beaten by Mecha but Kong will wake up at the last second and it will become Kong vs MechaGodzilla and Kong will tear him apart.  Then Godzilla will probably issue one last challenge and then the two will battle one last time and then Kong will win.  And Godzilla...will fall.

How was that theory?

How do humans telepathically communicate with the Titans? It has stated elsewhere in credits that there was once an "advanced civilization" in MonsterVerse, possibly or not the underwater city discovered in King of the Monsters.

What made me a Godzilla fan? I remember watching my first Godzilla movie which was Godzilla (2014). And just watching a giant monster stomping through the streets of San Francisco was amazing And it was entertaining to me just watching giant creatures fight. And when Godzilla fired his atomic breath into the female MUTO's mouth was just fantastic. And ever since then my passion for Godzilla has grown and I am hyped for the New Godzilla vs Kong film and I just cannot wait!

Kong looks battle ready. 

I’m not too impressed. Maybe when we get a clearer look at it that will change. I would rather a theropod titan to call back to the T-Rex or V-Rex, preferably the V-Rex. Would really excite me.

I think King Kong will win because his ancestors have killed zilllas before so why can’t Kong(don’t think he will actually kill Godzilla)? Also, Godzilla has had the limelight of the monsterverse on him for a while now. He was always front  and center. Kong really never got much attention aside from his movie and a comic that barely featured him at the very end for like 4 pages total. Godzilla got his crowning moments with King Ghidorah so it’s King Kong’s turn for his. He seems like the main focus anyway. 
I think Godzilla will win the first round and then Kong will have to make a comeback and then beat him when he is better equipped. Kong will be the definitive winner and then Mecha G will try to kill a weakened Godzilla making Kong have to save him.

Greg Keyes wrote the novelizations of Godzilla King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong.  He also wrote two Planet of the Apes novelizations.  A lot of other stuff, too.

Oh, is this confirmed? I know he doesn't build it himself, but remember, M.U.T.Os are known to take down godzillas and implant their eggs inside. Whos to say a member of Kong's species didn't encounter some. If this is the case, then it wouldn't necessarily be connected to our M.U.T.O but it would still have the same result. However, you're probably right :/

The string holding the axe is made from a previous godzilla ancestor skin, kong didnt build the axe he finds it in hollow earth
