Well, seeing GVK above '54 is funny.  They're so vastly different from one another.  One is a commentary on real-life issues and the other is a Hollywood kaiju beat-'em-up...and yet the brawl with no substance is above the commentary.

also, BrianBuck did not give an opinion of any of the films on his list, in fact, he didn't put any text in his reply, he could be some sort of new type of bot that can post images.

If he is real, I would like to hear his opinion on shin godzilla.

you are not a cradinal sinner, you put films such as the anime trilogy and vs. ghidora below it, BrianBuck put shin at the very bottom of the list, which I do not agree with at all.

theres a mobile game called ¨go BIG!¨ which features godzilla, kong, mechagodzilla and the warbats. its marketing heavily features the gvk evidence, the games  gull* title is ¨go BIG! featuring godzilla vs. kong¨. you could  say its a godzilla vs. kong game, but the games relation to gvk is more similar to the relation between final wars and save the earth.

I feel like these "lists" are also in the moment, knee jerk reactions. If I was asked to make another without looking at my last list, I doubt it would be exactly the same. A few would be permanent fixtures, but there's no way my thoughts on all 36 movies are exactly the same, day-to-day, month-to-month.

I guess I am a cardinal sinner too because I also placed Shin Godzilla on F tier

The movies listed out next to the grade may not be in order of preference. It wasn't for me. I just put them in order of release.

But GvK next to 1954 is hilarious.

I think gamera: rebirth is going to come out before blockbuster monster movie, usually when a trailer drops for something that means its coming out in about 2-4 months, my bet is that its coming out in June, its the same month singular point aired, maybe June is netflix,s new kaiju time slot. Im betting on the kaiju no.8 anime airing in June next year to.

then again, s.p. and the chain saw man anime were both announced long before they actually started (or start) airing, so  its really uncertain with anime. Im just betting on g.r. coming out before blockbuster monster movie.

Oh my friend just pointed out, there is 4 more "Coming Soon" marks on the poster. And only one enemy kaiju, but he is gonna face 5 kaijus. So i wonder if the silhouettes of the last 4 kaijus will take up the spots where the "Coming Soon" notices are, the closer the release date comes.

Yooooo lets gooooo. Now im excited even more. I still have the steelbook versions of all three anime movies. Best Iteration of Godzilla. So I have high hopes for the Gamera Anime.
