Nothing aside from a vague plot synopsis has been revealed about the gvk sequel, let alone its title!

the "origins" monachre was likely just a production title, think "blockbuster monster movie" for tohos next godzilla movie.

also, this news is what? 5, 6 months old now? 

a time in wich the production title changed to "godzilla and kong"?
