Also hooray, I seem to have posted the 300th discussion on the Godzilla 2014 forum section. Yay! :P What do I win?
I took a look at the Godzilla Encounter again. The elevator stops on the 25th floor where you meet Godzilla face-to-face, with Godzilla's eyes meeting the window, but he seemed to be far enough from the window for his nose not to be touching it so if he were actually touching the building, his eye would probably be as big as the window. Considering this I took a look at the room, consider the Encounter staff is probably around 6 ft tall with that room their in being more than twice their size; let's say the room is about 15 ft tall and it's on the 25th floor. 25*15=375ft and seeing as how Godzilla's eyes are meeting the window, taking into account the rest of his head means just about 400 ft. So that's my theory on Godzilla's height.
"i am getting kinda sick of people talking about ZILLA 98 so badly"
Well get used to it because fans and the public in general have been laying shit on that film ever since it came out. If anything I am surprised there are so called G-fans who actually defend that piece of shit. Fine if you liked it, but that doesn't change the universal opinion amongst G-fans that the film is and always will be absolute garbage.
"But while we're on the subject, does anyone else here think Godzilla's appearance in the first leaked teaser might be the aftermath of a nuclear bomb being dropped on him or in his vicinity? The massive amounts of smoke and dust clouding his image could very well be fallout radiation and the bits of building crumbling off his back could be the result of being buried under rubble by the explosion."
Or, a tall building was in close proximity when he unleashes his fire breath. Or, maybe, we'll be treated to him employing his nuclear pulse.
I like the original 1954 version and #16 through 27. Although, #17, #23, and #24 though #27 have aspects that I don't like. I thought, however, in certain shots during the movie, the one in Godzilla vs. Destroyah was pretty much the meanest looking one. The one in Godzilla 2000 was a pretty mean looking one too.
