AWESOME!!!!!!! G-MAN`S SMOKING SOME MIRRORS!!!!!!
Sadly we won't see any Toho monsters in this film
I watch part or all of Godzilla vs. Destroyah to remind me how sad it is. Cry every time...
ZILLAHATER@ well not all the Godzilla heads are that small
Guys, I need your help. I am a really good drawer and want to sumbit those drawings to deviant art. Can anyone give me a link to a good tutorial or give me help themselves?
I like all the designs. But my favourite design is the 1954 design. He is the basic Godzilla which is the material all designs are based off. I love his round head. Its mostly the Godzillas with small heads like the heisei versions i dont like that much.
So:
Godzilla 54
Godzilla 84
Godzilla 14
I watched Godzilla`s Revenge two days ago. I love that movie.
Final Wars.
He was over the top, and im not saying thats good, but he still kicked ass.
Wow this is an interesting question...I thought about this all day because there are so many variables involved here. The arguement about Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla is a solid one, however Ive never thought much of Titanasaorus...he was about as lame as King Cesar lol..of the Heisei series I would have to give it to Godzilla from Biollante simply because he swam a Lava river to reemerge...tough to top LAVA....The Millenium series...I have to give a slight edge to The Final Wars Godzilla over Godzilla 2000 simply because he takes on every single monster in the series and then survives a meteor landing on top of him. Godzilla 2000 was being sucked dry by Oragnaizer G-1 and he simply turned up the juice lol as it were....heres the clip of the meteor assault...nuff said

Just watched The Original Gojira on Blu Ray the other night. I love going back to where it started.
Well just take a look at my icon, thats tattooed to my right arm. The Millenium Godzillas design is by far the best of the many different types, Godzilla 74, Final Wars and GMK with the White eyes would be my next favs
I believe that the Godzilla from the Show era and the final Wars Godzilla. :)
The GMK Godzilla was indeed tough, however he was possessed by the souls of those who died in 1954, so one can expect him not to die so easily.
I like the designs of Godzilla 1964, 1984, and 2014. :D
Hm that's a tough one. I'd have ot say between GMK Godzilla and FW Godzilla. GMK Godzilla fought and took a beating from all 3 monsters (not really counting baragon and mortha) and blew himself up but STILL lived, that's pretty BA. Then there's FW Godzilla who fought a very good amount of monsters AND took an astroid blowing up right above him AND taking on kaiser Ghidorah, that is a feat in itself.
I guess the G fans likes the Heisei and the Millennium Desgins and also the second millennium duh too Lengendary kick starting the second millennium
it,s weird why people hate the showa series hmm weird
I'd have to go with Godzilla 2000, Godzilla GMK, Godzilla FW and Godzilla 2014 :P
I gotta go with Burning Godzilla.
i like bio goji up to melting goji..(they're all the same model) and of course 2014..
So you both like 2000 what about the other designs?
godzilla 2000 and godzilla 2014
that movie was scary enough
The best design I would say by far is the 2002/2003 MechaGodzilla, I've always loved the 70s design and the latest version combined the 70s design with the 90s, by far my favorite. In terms of a beatdown I would have to say 1993s MechaGodzilla gave him the worst beating. The best backstory by far also goes to the 02/03 MechaGodzilla with him being made of the bones of the original Godzilla, but for the movies themselves I think the 74/75 and 93 films are great but the 02/03 were very big let downs. So if I had to pick the best individual MechaGodzilla I'd go with 02/03 but if I were picking the best MechaGodzilla movie I'd put them in this order: 1993, 1974, 1975, 2002, 2003
Once again, I NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BEING 100% SURE THAT TOHO KAIJU WILL BE IN THIS. I SAID MAYBE.
It's a possibility, even though I know it's very very unlikely.
You can't just say "Oh, it's a reboot, that automatically means there is 100% no possibility whatsoever of any Toho Kaiju ever appearing in this series at all".
I always go back to the defining Goji movie, Godzilla Vs Monster Zero. This is the film where showa Godzlla peaked. It has everything, aliens, 3 classic kaiju monsters, a wise guy american ("double crossing finks") and a comic relief in tedsui (or is it the aliens?). I watch Goji films of all series, however this will always be my favorite. Before this one, Goji was a bad guy, after this one, he was a good guy. There may be showa arguments for Destroy All Monsters, however, I see that one as a bit convoluted and a weaker script (if you will) and D.A.M. was the start of the cutesy eyed Godzillla's Revenge design which I hate. Godzilla Vs Monster Zero again and again. Where else can you drive up to a military barricade and just say "space authority" and they let you right through!?
I watched Return of Godzilla yesterday, so much better than 1985. To me KOTM, ROG and G vs Biollante is the perfect G trilogy. Hopefully with the new movie coming up it'll raise interest and there can finally be a non bootleg dvd this summer.
GODZILLA 2000 hands down

to go along with my black hole argument. no matter the size a black hole, it is a black hole. this is because a singularity is an infinitly small point of infinit mass and thats the same for every black hole. the only thing they somehow made small in g vs megaguirus was its horizon(or is it event horizon?). basically they focused it, however that would not reduce the power of a black hole. also the only reason megaguirus lasted so long is because he was swift and could avoid lots of godzillas attacks. also, i must agree that gmk godzilla was among the strongest godzillas ever( mean looking too), but remember, this is about durability, of course you could reason that even though he blew up, gmk godzilla can still regenerate and come back.
@Linkzilla
Happens all the time. I typically copy my posts before I hit reply. Just in case.
@LINKZILLA I was just thinking GMK Godzilla too. He took out Baragon, Mothra & King Ghidorah. He also walked through a mountain.
Then again there was this...

GODDAMNITGODDAMNITGODDAMNITGODAMNITGODDAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about that, I just spent 20 GODDAMN MINUTES writing a post detailing all the reasons why I think a certain Godzilla is the toughest, and when I clicked "add reply," a message appeared saying I had to be logged in to post a message, and I WAS F***ING LOGGED IN, OTHERWISE HOW COULD I EVEN WRITE THE GODDAMN MESSAGEERJDOIFHNSIFOHIFRE!!!
Fine, I'll just say GMK Godzilla and leave it at that, YOU WIN, SciFied!
P.S. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I am normally much harsher of such speculation as we still don't have nearly enough information to draw accurate conclusions about the movie, but your speculation actually has me intrigued.
I think the reason why I don't mind your speculation so much is because of the real logic you're using as opposed to Godzilla fan boy logic which I see so often from so many people. Yours is coherent, in line with known facts, and above all is reasonable (which is not the case with most other Godzilla fan boy/girl speculation).
Nicely done!
Just a few days ago, I watched Godzilla's Revenge (1969) on Netflix, which I used to have on a collection of VHS tapes of the old Godzilla movies as a little kid. I remebered it being the worst of the movies, but oddly I found it wasn't really all that bad. I mean, it was bad in the traditional sense, like the rest of the 70s Godzilla movies, and it did have way too much stock footage, but the fight between Gabara and Minya and Godzilla was fun, and it was full of hilarious moments, which made it very enjoyable overall... and the odd thing is that I remember not enjoying it as a kid. Weird.
I recently watched Godzilla vs. Mothra: Battle For Earth. Not the best Godzilla movie, but not the worst either. The characters were uninteresting, but the story is decent. Plus, the visual effects and suits are amazing (although there's a little too much glitter).
The interaction between Mothra and Battra is the best part of the movie for me. I feel both have a lot of personality compared to other monsters in the Godzilla franchise. Seeing Battra die was kind of depressing, but at least he died a hero. :)
Godzilla vs. Mothra (1964)
Pretty much one of the most perfect Godzilla movies out there with a truly menacing Godzilla. I'm always blown away by the miniatures in that movie. And I love Nakanishi's monologue on Infant Island. It really escalated what the movie was about. And to this day nothing touches the puppetry of Mothra in this movie. The Heisei series has nothing on the wild, animalistic movements this Mothra has.
My only complaint about the film is that these spectacular characters don't have a lot to do by the end of the movie. The rescue attempt for the teacher and the children is really showhorned in there. Though I suppose it's still better than the standing around and watching monsters fight thing that plagues the thirds acts of most of the Heisei movies.
One of the absolute best. Hands down.
I hope they don't share a movie together. I think it's up to the fans to decide who would win. :)
Ironically, I was first introduced with the name by Godzilla 1998. I had a figure of Gino, and carried him where ever I went, and then Godzilla 2000 came! :D
I pretty much fell in love with the movie, and mostly Orga (I was around five or six when I saw it). I later on played the video games, and watched to rest of the millenium films. That's pretty much how it all started for me. :)
final wars lots of action
godzilla vs mothra godzilla survied a volcano also
