Yes we all know S.H. Monsterarts is making Godzilla 2014 but we dont know when it is going to be relesed or some promo pictures out i hope we get a Muto.
well godzilla is mutated. i doubt everything about him will be symetrical like his teeth in that one poster
I know this is off topic, but I have the special edition that has both Gojira and Godzilla:King Of The Monsters.
yes, he should act like the heisei godzilla. the heisei godzilla is like the original godzilla, likes to destroys everything. and im pretty sure the showa godzilla became a good guy because of zone fighter.
it'll be awesome to see a monsterarts of godzilla (1954,1962,2001, and 2002), mechagodzilla 1, baragon, king caesar, jet jaguar, and monster x. I also heard they are making a godzilla 2014 monsterarts.
Spacegodzilla, Kiryu, and Godzilla 2000. They are making a G.2014, and hopefully they will eventually make a Mechagodzilla '74, King Caesar '74, and GMK Godzilla.
BTW that scene could probably just be made for the teaser trailer.
Looks great. BTW how do you display pictures like this can you tell me?
so I dont have to send mine in links.
Godzilla vs. Gigan on the Sci-Fi Channel (as it was called then) at 1:00am during the summer of 1994. And that's all it took. Good times.
How about just watching the video in my recent post, I already have something like that
Hey Chris if you actually watch the video and watch the tail closely at 0:23 then youll see that the big spike is actually part of godzilla because it like moves with Godzilla. Even at 0:03 can show too that the spike is pretty much connectedd to Godzilla. Hope im not wrong when we finally see the full design lol but i can be wrong too
Well, as far as the known mutos go, according to the toys one is eight legged. But also, there's word that this creature was just made for the teaser trailer. Interesting speculation.
Not understanding the whole 'mutatated' angle. Edwards kinda basically stated Godzilla was nature's weapon, something nature created.
@GTBETTA35 - True in a few respects, but given the fact that we know what Godzilla's tail will look like, we can determine how useful of a weapon it will be by comparing it to other animals which have had tails similar in structure and length. The first Godzilla had a tail of about the same length and shape, coming to a point rather than rounding off like that of his King Kong vs. Godzilla form onward until the Millennium series when it retook its sharper point. The first Godzilla never used his tail as a weapon, only casually smashed a few buildings with it. Why? Because of his size and the fact that moving his tail would inevitably hit them. It wasn't a weapon.
Given the structure of this Godzilla's tail, it is in fact possible he'll use it as a weapon, but it won't have the same kind of use it saw in the Showa and Heisei series runs. It's not long enough for being a truly effecive weapon, but who knows.
EDIT: Further proof this is fake comes from the realization that the origin of the leak comes from an anonymous user on 4 Chan. He posted 'leaks' regarding the Iron Man 3 trailer which turned out to be nothing more than fanfic. Coincidence that this leak comes from the same place? I think not!
It's fanfiction, a made up story about what someone else would want to see from the movie, not an official script.
Stegosaurus descendent? Wasn't that originally what Godzilla was? A T-Rex and a Stegosaurus combined essentially? I'm talking way back, before the "Godzillsaurus" was even a "thing".
I'm not sure the weird spike on his tail you see is even a spike, since the poster, showing Godzilla's tail doesn't have any abnormally large spikes which stand out. However, it could be at the very tip of his tail, but still, I can't see Godilla having a big Stego-style spiked tail.
Awesome slow-mo video clip from the trailer though! Really helps see Godzilla more clearly, thanks for sharing!
I have to agree with every thing you both said. And to add I think they could have a better Godzilla reveal. Sure, it was cool, I just think that it could have been more suspenseful. The other parts were they just barely show him, I think were perfect. They didn't just reveal two minutes into the movie. They gave suspense to his attacks, like they weren't sure what had happen and tyed to find it out. And also the original was better than the American version. Just as a bonus fact did you know that the Godzilla: King of the Monsters poster can go for over $15,000? If you want to varify it go to ha.com and look it up. That just shows how famous Godzilla is.
Probably fake, but one of godzilla's toys is dubbed ""tail thrashing godzillA". So it's possible he could be using his tail. Plus, studying biology and bodily functions is obviously thrown out the window since this , well, is a movie about a giant radioactive fire breathing dinosaur
I would have to say that 54 is my favorite movie and the best Godzilla movie in my opinon. It made you fear Godzilla and sympathize with the humans. I wish the other movies followed that tone. I hope the new movie holds the tone of the first movie, but on a more epic and relalistic scale(Even though the fitst is the most realistic out of all the movies). That is the Godzilla I like. The bringer of destruction and death.
The first time I ever saw Godzilla was when I was watching tv with my dad flipping through channels when we came across the last fight scene in Destroy All Monsters, which is one of my favorite fights in the Godzilla movie to date. Ever since then I was just hooked. I loved the idea of giant monsters destroying cities and fighting each other, and I still do.
Is it just me, or do the spikes look like a combination of Godzilla 2000 and 54? AWESOME! Also if you notice, this Godzilla has 3 rows of spikes. What I love is that the middle row starts at the top of the head, while the other 2 start at the top of the back not touching his neck area.
GOJIRA2K Ur welcome bruh
XXSABERBLACKCROW True, but you know, im fine with that spike being that big, having more of a unique design to it
Great find. Thanks to you I we can all see the back spikes and his head much better.
Well when i saw the prototype pictures for the encounter at the end of the tell you do see a big spike on the tail here,s an example
http://static3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130717181911/godzilla/images/0/03/Godzilla_2014_Design_Concept_2_-_Collider.png
as you see at the end you do see a little bid of big ones but I know Edwards does not want the plates too big so im sure he,ll fix it the only way too find out is if another trailer will come out or maybe the news will tell us.
and also now that the pictures of Godzilla is mroe clear i can see who big the plates are and find Godzilla,s arms
IKR thats what I did too, now I have a better look at Godzilla, just like what the video says
Thats insane.. I saw more attributes of Godzilla by pausing it everytime lightning strikes flicker up the screen!
thank god this is fake. it sounded like crap to me lol. and thank you kyero for pointing out all the flaws in this
Confirming it's fake by way of analyzing word useage:
1) "rises from beneath an island" (how do you do that?)
2) "hits him head on in a massive nuclear explosion" (Really now?)
3) "So there it is: Godzilla has existed since the 1950's" (Oh is that all there is to it?)
4) " We learn verbally that he basically appeared and started nosing around" (We learn verbally that he has been 'nosing around'? Really?)
5) "radiation changed him somehow" (Oh really? You think?)
6)"Russia and the United States jointly dropped a nuke on him" (Really now? It's a joint effort all of a sudden?)
7) "After that he was never heard from again aside from the odd "bloop"" (How and why does something that big just disappear aside from the occasional 'bloop'?)
8) "the corpse of another Godzilla is discovered frozen in the Antarctic ice" (So we're working with multiple Godzillas now?)
8) "The fossil is locked in battle with two creatures, dubbed mutos" (You do know that isn't how it works right? Nothing actually gets frozen in time in a battle position. That's pure bull crap fantasy used in cartoons.)
9) "There are two Mutos. One male, one female. They're supposed to hunt as a pair: and their prey is Godzilla's species." (Oh really now? How do we know this again exactly? Is it etched in the fossil that hey, I'm a male and this is my female and we're supposed to be hunting together!")
10) "The Mutos need to lay eggs inside Godzilla's body so that they can gestate" (Rip off of Alien much?)
11) "because their eggs need to feed off of a nuclear power source" (How convenient for your previous statement. They couldn't lay their eggs in a nuclear power plant instead?)
12) "They call to Godzilla, and intentionally lure him so that they can tag team him and stick him with a Chrysalis" (Again, we know from a fossil this how?)
13) "Descriptively, they bring about mental images of bio luminescent assassin bugs. Long spindley legs, and two bigger arms that sort of recall the aggregate Destroyah that Junior fights in the '95 film." (And what do you mean by 'descriptively? Also, why recall such a monster? Is there some form of logic that I missed along the way?)
14) "There are two creatures mentioned, and I know that there is something of an evolutionary process as well- that's all I'll say on that topic" (Again, how convenient for you)
15) "One of them is described as being substantially larger than the other and seems to battle Godzilla pretty well; the script makes it clear that the battle is somewhat one sided in Godzilla's favor until the tables turn later in the fight" (And we're told this becaaaaause, why? And how do the tables suddenly turn? You're leaving out some VERY important details you know)
16) "Functionally, they remind me a LOT of Megaguirus" (So we went from Alien rip off, to Destroyah assassin image, to Meguirus type fighter. Are you sure you're not just a fanboy?)
17) "There's even a specific moment lifted from that movie that should be pretty neat to see." (Again, convenient)
18) "By the end of the fight Godzilla has taken a good beating and is even missing a couple spines" (Oh really now? Missing some spines. And how are we supposed to believe this? Godzilla has taken quite a bit of damage before, but you seriously expect us to believe a bug knocked off his spines?)
19) "and a finale fight that has two distinct chapters." (One of them is not a finale)
20) "Godzilla kills the Mutos by brute strength." (No intellect or atomic breath now? Why the sudden change after he used it three times earlier in quick succession? Out of juice?)
21) "As written, this Godzilla is a brutal physical opponent who "thrashes", "slashes" and whips with his tail." (Written where? You expect this Godzilla, whose tail isn't designed for weaponized combat, is thrashing and whipping it about? Have you even seen his tail or studied animal biology and limb functions?)
22) "Also, Bryan Cranston's character works at the nuclear facility in Hokkaido that melts down. The meltdown is blamed on a flaw from his design, and the disaster kills his wife (the scene everyone is talking about between the two of them is ABSENT from my draft, by the way)" (Key phrase = "MY DRAFT")
23) "Earlier today on another forum that shall not be mentioned, someone in the know had taken it upon themselves to start disseminating information from a leaked script for the new Godzilla film. The result was mass chaos, and a flurry of accusations that the OP was a troll and should be banned. He/she was ordered to provide proof, and incredibly, he/she complied and started posted images from the actual script, which appeared to be the Max Borenstein revision from June 2012.
A separate poster validated that this was the same leaked copy they possessed, and that what the OP was saying was true. After this, the OP was suddenly banned, all material removed, and a notice was posted that sharing leaked scripts is illegal and will not be tolerated on that forum."
(So an official statement from the creators of the website where the original leak went up carried with it a typo? Doesn't sound that official or professional to me)
24) "Again this seems to be a draft that was possibly before the final draft of the script. It also seems its a semi-sequel to the 1954 Godzilla movie with a modern take. But again take with a grain of salt until further notice...." (Need I say more?)
Take it for what it is folks. It's bull. Always has been, always will be. The random who posted it on Sci Fi Japan was nothing but another fan trying to take the spotlight with 'acquired information'.
Bullshite but still cool.
Hmmmm. I think that the "Two Monsters" are the two BOSS monsters. One could be the queen of the M.U.T.O hive and the other one could be completely diffrent. Like the M.U.T.O group and the mixture grouo(varios types of mutant monsters). And they both team up against humanity and Godzilla. It sounds stupid but thats my opinion.
@GodzillaFan1995
You mean Executive Producer, which is a credit given to producers who do nothing but have a hand in helping the movie finacially. There was no creative input from Yoshimitsu Banno and I highly doubt Edwards took inspiration from his film. It's likely Edwards and Banno have never even met.
Very intresting that was a creative idea for godzilla
Ya I don't either but it does sound pretty cool if it does start that way though
@ESLIMSHADYFAN Could you perhaps do a Youtube tutorial on how to make the masterpiece?
@ESLIMSHADYFAN, Hello. First let me say how fantastic the sculpture is. May I ask, how did you make it? I've been experimenting with different desgins and postures but can't get it right. Thank you again for making this masterpiece public and thank you for making it.
Definitely keep it and make it for non-profit.
Sending the game idea out to others is a recipe for disaster. Without the proper protections in place, you're just begging for whomever you send the game to to steal the idea and sell the game as their own without any legal repercussions because I guarantee they'll immediately set out for permission from Toho and a copyright to the game and all of its content before you can fight back.
If you ever plan to make a game using your own software and such, protect yourself first and foremost. Get a copyright in place, and I don't mean just typing out and placing the symbol on it. That only goes so far. Hvaing a hard copy print out of the copyright striaght from court is the best protection you could ask for no matter what your game is or how small it may be compared to big name franchises. A copyright is not free, but it's invaluable if you ever plan to turn a profit as a game designer in the future.
i am going to be incredibly upset if this film is either, fianically unsuccessful, panned by critics or is not the godzilla movie i have been waiting to watch for 5 YEARS! i have some faith but if this film is not on the top 3 box office charts but is really liked by critics, the i have 'lost faith in humanity'.
