He said there will be f-words, even it would be a strong PG-13 rating. What do you guys think?

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-12-2014 6:43 PMYeah it could just have 1 f word in there and still have it pg 13

No.
Its not going to have the F-word or baby murder in it, get over it guys.
F word = instant R rating.
R rating = lower ticket sales.
Its time to let the fantasy go.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-13-2014 6:58 PM@AKAGI Actually, a movie can have up to 4 f-bombs and still be rated PG-13 as long as it isn't used in a sexual context... it's stupid, I know. If you don't believe me, watch X MEN: FIRST CLASS, someone says "Go f**k yourself" in one scene. And what do you mean "It's time to let the fantasy go?" I don't think anyone is hoping against hope that the F-word will be used in GODZILLA...and if they are, I'll lose some of the little hope I have left in humanity.

MemberBaragonJan-15-2014 7:36 PMWhy are you so concerned with the movie using the "F word"? Will it add to the movie? No. Will it develop characters better? No. Will it make the plot darker, or more gritty? No. Will it impress 12 year old who want to seem bad ass? Maybe.
There's no point in putting in the Fword, and the censoring you're so concerned about literally does nothing to the movie but lower the audience that can attend.
