This is awesome. You guys want a way to promote this movie? This is it! Godzilla needs to win! It'll show people how serious this movie is going to be! It will get a lot more attention if it wins this. THIS is a group effort! Come on!
1: The characters. I am stoked to see these characters whom the cast always talk about. I mean, i cant wait too see Godzilla, but i feel like there is no reason too mention it.
2: The MUTO. I got so happy when it was announced a few years ago that Godzilla wasnt gonna be alone in this film. Yes, while Godzilla 54 and 84 may be the best, i will always believe that Godzilla looks better when he has someone to fight. It gives him a purpose. And the MUTO themselves are so...Alien. Its like when you see a photo of grey aliens, they just seem so cold.
3:The end of Zilla. Bye Bye freaky iguana.
Hey everyone I just joined the site, in anticipation of the new movie I would like to share my new fanart to you all.
It's basically a fight between a Pacific Rim Kaiju and Godzilla himself. I used a Godzilla satue and a PR movie shot as background and spiced up the effects in Photoshop. Hope you dig it.
I think it'll take place in Vancouver. :O

I know a Muto is in there, and Godzilla's foot comes down immediatley after it cuts. I just hope we'll see the whole thing soon.
2. The Mutos
What will they look like? What will they sound like? Will they be a difficult adversary? All these questions will be answered in the film.

I have high hopes that this movie shall erase Gino from American's memories as to who Godzilla really is. :)

Personally, and I know I'm probably in the minority in this, I actually enjoyed the American version more. The narration but Raymond burr and way the movie was paced made it seem like you were really listening to a news broadcast, or reading an article about it with images in the back. While the main characters, and love triangle in the Japanese 1 were glossed over after watching the Japanese version I didn't find that it added much. Not to say it was bad, just that I preferred the American version, I still enjoy and fnd the Japanese 1 very good.

2. I'm looking forward to seeing how "Realistic" Gareth can make this. His other movie Monsters was great and it wasn't the normal monster movie that we all have come to expect. I really want to see what elements from that movie he can incorporate into Godzilla.
3. I love Godzilla but Bryan Cranston is an AMAZING actor, possibly one of the best of our time. Ill watch anything he is in, not to mention its his first performance since Breaking Bad so im sure he will give it 100%.

2/3)This might be a rather silly thing..but I mean of course I wanna see the special affects and monsters..However, I really wanna see how the story folds out. With so many movies that have the bland, "Monster does SMASH CRACKLE BOOM EXPLOSION, humanity fights back! WE WIN"..I wanna see some real emotion and devastation here. Esepecially if it turns out that the power of humanity is out matched by the power of nature. Which is Godzilla. As I said many times before, I want to find Godzilla astonishing, yet fear him at the same time.

I actually remember Cranston as Hal from "Malcom in the Middle". LOL Imagine if in the movie he's like "Malcom, what did you do?"? That's would be hilarious. :D
Yeah, it's fake. Legendary and Warner Bros. are VERY quick to ask me to take down any prematurely released material that's "official". This script leak is very very fake. Not to mention, this isn't the first time false info has come from that site you linked. Not sure why they would be promoting a fake script, like InstinctiveGigan said, it can damage the film and the audience's expectations for it. All around a bad idea.
hahaha Cranston is by far my favorite actor in this movie. I'm so used to his "Walter White", so it's nice to see his more comical side, haha. I'll be looking for this tomorrow! Front-page newsworthy without a doubt.
I guess the power with his breath could be associated with the storyline that it connects with. If it is more in touch with the japanese movies then it could be more like the blue spines lighting up thing. But i dont really think that spines lighting up blue and lazer breath is very realistic. If it was more like the american one it may be similar to the fire breath it had like in the tunnel scene. Whichever one it is though, i hope it doesnt end up being too far fetched, because one of the parts of the movie i look forward to is it being realistic. I mean, it be so cool and scary if the movie writers could come up with a way that a tragedy like this could actually happen. Thinking about the idea that there could possibly be a giant lizard destroying cities in real life is pretty scary, which is a way that the movie could be so much cooler.
Oh yea, it should have a stand, now, that would be cool.

@AKAGI Actually, a movie can have up to 4 f-bombs and still be rated PG-13 as long as it isn't used in a sexual context... it's stupid, I know. If you don't believe me, watch X MEN: FIRST CLASS, someone says "Go f**k yourself" in one scene. And what do you mean "It's time to let the fantasy go?" I don't think anyone is hoping against hope that the F-word will be used in GODZILLA...and if they are, I'll lose some of the little hope I have left in humanity.

Godzilla, as large as he is, cannot displace enough water on his own to create a tsunami.
What causes a tsunami? Vertical displacement of a large colmumn of water, and to date, the only forces capable of creating a tsunami are medium to high scale earthquakes, rare underwater volcanic eruptions, and large meteorite impacts within the ocean.
Godzilla, as large as he is, cannot displace the kind of water or create the kind of kinetic energy it takes to start a tsunami.
@ BTBETTA35 - Yes, Godzilla is not a part of the tsunami. As I just explained, because of the laws of physics and how a tsunami is created, Godzilla could be swimming in front of or behind a tsunami, but would not be the cause. There's nothing terribly 'interesting' about that fact.
@ DRAGONLORD TEVIN - Godzilla is not a God, he's an animal. As powerful as he is, he's not powerful enough to create a tsunami regardless of his size. Your lack of logic and education regarding physics confounds me, but is entertaining in its own kind of way.
Again, physics demand respect and Godzilla is not above them (barring the fact that physically he could never exist anything). As much as we love him, he'll not be the cause of a tsunami anytime soon (nor will he ever).
