Hell yeah! Godzilla looks quite awesome in this model. I think this could be one of the best designs ever...

Also according to the site this toy stands to about 2 feet tall, which could add to the evidence that the spikes are just a safety precaution.
It's a site that gives links to figures from different collecter sites. I'm guessing they broke the embargo, or got it from someone who did.
It looks like a more refined version of what we saw before so this possibly could be the final version. Also about the spikes, it could simply be a safety fix or something similar. I don't think they would sell this figure, which doesn't seem to be a collecters item, to a child with big sharp spikes on the back. They would keep true to his actual design with NECA collector figues but not something you'd find in Toys r us. I might be wrong but I saw this and thought it would bring some good insight to what we would see in the movie.
Source? This model was awaiting approval from the licensor. Nothing is official yet, and the spikes on the G in the trailer weren't that small. The head and body seem to be correct from my knowledge, feet are bugging the shit outta me though

Well since the MUTOs are spider like creatures and then they might have a final form just reminds me of Destroyah. I don't know man, it's just my person opionion and hopes.

Yeah March is a good time to release the next trailer. A site says that the next trailer will be released on Feb 7th which I honestly do not believe. And I hope the merchandise is shown soon.
Ooooh I see it now, at first I just though it was a fuzzy line but now that I have looked closely there is definately something coming down. Good find. Also, after that happens it kinda looks like 2 creatures are fighting. You can see stuff moving. It's so hard to make things out in the fuzziness of the vid. Thanks for pointing that out man, I would never have noticed that.
@deadite kaiju its really slim and is hard to see, give a some tries. And yes there is a green eye,its the mutos eye.
My one biggest worry is (just like you said) the movie not making enough money at the box office. There aren't as many G fans in countries outside of Japan so I don't know if it will be as big of a hit. Remake haters...don't worry about them. Those people just don't know the difference between a pointless remake such as Friday the 13th and all those other fail horror remakes and a remake that is actually needed. This is something different, they obviously think that this movie will just end up a fail just to cash in on the title like GINO. And I don't know about the screenwirter. We just gotta take it as it comes. If it is bad it's bad, if it is good it's good.

I am having a little bit of trouble seeing Godzilla's foot come down but at around the 3 second mark I can see a green eye looking at the camera.
Yeah I seen that, but I was looking on Warner Bros. site. My point was that anyone can list the false information to make thems seem creditable. I hope it's real though.
Guys whaf if they just use the comic con 2013 footage? This would be really bad since we already know what is in it. The only good things will be the muto and godzillas foot

The look of this site, it seems it's pretty official, and with RoboCop being released on the following Wednesday it looks like that film will help advertise Godzilla.

Well one of the first Godzilla movies I ever saw was Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and I just thought it was awesome having two giant 300 feet monsters destroying cities and fighting each other so I really got into the series and they would show a Godzilla movie on TV like every week and I found them so amusing. Been a fan ever since I was 4 :)
I'm not saying it not true, but anyone can make a website and list false information to make them seem more creditable. I tried searching for WB partners on their site to confirm this, so far I found nothing. I'm hoping it's true, but from looking at this website from a professional stand point. Something seems off about it.

I hope they show more shots of Godzilla, the airport scene with the MUTO and then Godzilla's foot coming down, some more character dialogue and Godzilla's atomic fire beam.
To be honest I think there will be one extra surprise monster at the end just like GOJIRA649 said. Kinda like Destroyah which will probably be their inspiration IMO.
I guess it is possible but then again you can't trust anything anymore when it comes to Godzilla 2014. It would be awesome if they release another trailer on Feb 7th because I reckon we are due for a new one.
If this does turn out to be true... the best clarification we'll get is an announcement in the new few days to generate hype for the official release. And that would be like a good time for another trailer to come out since many theatrical or final trailers come out 3 months max before the movie gets released. Most come out in 2 months, a few in 1 month before the release.
Sooo... there's a 50/50 chance this could be on the level. Especially with that point JMac15 pointed out!

Lol I love how you talked about Man of Steel in this topic, its my favorite movie and I say to haters to f**k off.
But to talk about Godzilla here, I actually want the atomic breath to be like GMK\'s cuz that one actually looked like an ATOMIC BREATH, unlike 2000 and Tokyo SOS where it looked like fire, and Final Wars where it kinda looked like a plasma beam in a way.
And I want this movie to be better than Man of Steel

Hmm... I don't know if anyone noticed this, but the website that claims we'll get a trailer Feb. 7th says they're partnered with Warner Brothers in their About Us page. They could very well be telling the truth.
