I think it would be a close round, both of them can use a red heat ray, but godzilla 1994 would haft to really charge up for it and godzilla 2000 can just use it regardless. They both can use a nuclear pulse but G 2000's is stronger. But still G 90's has his size on G 00 so a draw.

1993-94 would win because one he is bigger 2. is more powerful 3 he can finish him off with his spiral heat beam.

INB4 anyone blames the poor Pipeworks rendering on the capabilities of the system.

There were Godzilla games on the SNES and dreamcast where Godzilla looked more accurate to his actual design. 

I love this guy's work. 

He isn't like the pipeworks animators who just give their 'interpertation of the monsters', he goes for the gusto. He creates amazing detailed models with minor tweaks to make them function as a real creature. As far as I'm concerned, this guy needs a job in gaming or in designing figures for 3D printing machines. 

These are really cool 3D models! I love them all. Each one of those mosters are some of my favorite Kaiju. Would you want to you design Space Godzilla, Biollante, Varan, Anguirus, and Baragon one?

if there is one thing i didn't understand about godzilla ste and unleashed is that they used only godzilla 2000 and 90's, that was fine altough they could have used 2004 godzilla as a skin and in unleased their is no reason to still have godzilla 2000 again and have 54&90's as multiplayer monsters.

I'm REALLY hoping they come out with a new Godzilla game. Anyways I'd be Godzilla 2004 hands down. In Godzilla Save The Earth I played as nothing but Godzilla 2000, he was my all time favorite no one could beat me :P

I personally have always hated the visible ear lobes look. I prefer the no visible ears look such as the way he looked through the 60's and 70's. I have abosolutely no problem with this earless design for the 2014 film.

I want to see explosion, monster fighting into a wrestle mania in the city, and more military bombing at the monsters who are in the city. That is what I want to see.

Well, after the original Gojira passed on (bless his soul!), the new Showa-era Godzilla was shown not to have any external ears either.

I think there might be a much more simple explanation to this, actually.

Going in with military vehicles would attract Godzilla's attention straight away. Godzilla walks with a forward lean and a slightly downard gaze. Anything on the ground in front of him or within his peripherals would be fair game for him and would raise the chances of him engaging and causing more destruction than he alwready has. It also risks his atomic breath being let loose, which is more of a danger and a risk than the military would likely with to take if they saw it before hand.

If the scene in the trailer is their first major encounter with Godzilla, then that theory won't play into the decision.

However, Godzilla seldom looks up unless there's a good reason such as another monster flying about above him or some kind of strange and very loud object like a meteor about to drop on his head. A HALO jump would be the perfect way to get the soldiers into the disaster zone without Godzilla noticing their arrival (though the trailer wouldn't make that very clear since one of them is falling right next to his head).

It's not a bad plan to get them in unnoticed if they manage to avoid his gaze. Their descent under such circumstances as Godzilla wandering through a firey city with a storm above his head would mean he's not likely to hear the flares attached to their feet. They drop in from above and land either behind him or far enough off to the side of his peripherals and Godzilla wouldn't be too keen to give them the time of day.

Just a thought as to why it would be used. Practically speaking a HALO jump is a bit random for a first encounter, so I don't think this is the military's first encounter. They likely encountered him before but never had the time or preparation to deal with the situation. Likely a freak occurrence of some kind or at least a completely unexpected encounter where they were utterly decimated in short order.

amazing spiderman 2 looks like a movie that is 'been there done that' xmen looked promising but then again some of the magazine covers with the characters look bad and as rob has said in his new video that a there are going to be a lot of deaths, some i can just tell. with godzilla it is getting a lot of overage, from big sites like MTV-IGN and even news articles like forbes and big newspaper companies like the guardian and telgraph (uk newspapers) but we have no idea what the plot is, we have no general idea what the mutos are or what they look like, heck we don't know about the muto in name as it 'could' be a organisation and not the name of the monsters.

i also like the ears but as far as i know reptiles dont have ears so they probably got rid of them because of realism

Maybe Spider-Man, but I think it's because Sony knows they have a dud on their hands. X-Men had gotten one trailer and some magazine covers with internet articles sprinkled around. Godzilla has gotten one trailer, two magazine articles and also some internet articles sprinkling around. I think they're about even.

The marketing has been fine, thusfar. The thing is I don't know what you guys were expecting. Did you really expect trailers, tie-ins and new news every day of the week leading up to the release? Because that doesn't happen with any movie anymore.
