Yeah, the 90's Heisei Godzilla films can't compete with the Gamera Trilogy. The trilogy feels so cinematic unlike the 90's Godzilla films. Not to mention the Gamera trilogy had an even smaller budget to work with. Maybe all their film crew were sober? LOL. Seriously though, Kaneko had a very talented and creative team to work with. Shinji Higuchi is an amazingly talented artist. To work on a lower budget that forced them to become more inventive. Just incredible.
TRUE AMERICAN GODZILLA@
No problem :) Im glad you like it. And i too cant wait to see this thing in its full, detailed, painted form, and even more so to when i get to see this bad boy in action may 15th in theaters.

ANANASATOM@
Exactly. If this were to be fake, someone would have had to get the all new figure, make a fake sculpt and make a replica stand. No way this is fake.
I think this is real... I mean look at the NECA's stand at Toay Fair 2014

The signs and the background look the same!
GOIRA2K@
Oh yeah, youre right! I had already seen the feet, but how did i not notice the hand.
You can also see the hands and feet of him.

oh,and don't listen to frozen, one time he said in a video game discussion that it doesn't belong in the video game section, which is the section I put it in.
hey bigbadben wanna talk about the youtube roar and the teaser trailer roar?
GODZILLAFAN1995@
Yeah, the tail has shown to be huge on most images we have seen. Also, that photoshop is indeed real, its a piece of promotion imagery. Badly photoshopped? Yes. Real? Yes.
also the poster at the bottom has that 'supposed' fake photoshoped image of godzilla
if that is waht the tail is going to look like then- WOW that is a REALLY LONG tail
Frozen it doe's because it's about video games.I put it in the video game section because i wanted to discuss a new godzilla VIDEO GAME.So,if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything.
FROZEN@
How? Look at all the stuff sourounding it. That figure infront is also new, and the boards sourounding them with extra merchandise is also a huge point.
Yeah, i love the articulation in the tail. I just hope the arms, head and legs are as well articulated as the tail.
the articulation of the tail looks like it will be better than SH MA godzilla tails
extactly, think of this as a full of sweets that is the full geared marketing, the secrecy and the acts as the air and LP & WB are the ones blowing it, evetually that ballon either bursts with too much air or the perosn pops the ballon itself, eventaully are LOT good stuff will come out of the ballon. not the best example is it
this discussion doesnt belong here
when ever thing is released it will be amazing to see what they have in store for us:)
well said there godzillafan1995 i couln't agree more the producers of this film now exactly what they are doing.
The face hands down.It has a really canine-monsterish expression like it'll stomp you in the face!
i am thinking that if they ever do a godzilla 2014 game for this new movie it will be some what like what they did with peter jacksons king kong but of course that is only my opinion.
in my honest opinion i would say all of them except godzilla's revenge and zilla.
i actually like the new roar too, it is still somewhat a iconic roar only more painful plus the godzilla roar i heard in theathers on the teaser trailer on youtube it sounds more bonechilling than it does on youtube it has more of a rolling thunder effect to it really scary if you ask me.
I'd go with Godzilla Final WARS!It's action packed, fast, and 1/2 percent silly. That could cheer me up during a bad day for sure.
@gman 2887
can you please stop ripping on that godzilla compendium book like i said it was because of this book that i found out some information that i really didn't know about but yes both of the other books might be more accurate with true info. that needs to be read.
thanks for sharing gman 2887
humans in millenium series
2000- mostly sitting and doing boring everyday sort of stuff oh and a human grabs a ride on godzilla
megagirus- mostly talk teasting and sitting
GMK- getting in the action, getting invlolved in the destruction, disscussing military tatics
GxMG and Tokyo SOS- piolets of mechagodzilla, disscusing the morals of kiryu sitting down, kid using school desks to summon mothra
G FW- humans fighting, pioleting, waking godzilla, helping godzilla, hand-to-hand comabt with aliens
really the humans do more things in the millenium series than post 91 heisei series, especially final wars.
I never liked the psychic abilities in the Hensei films, that is one of the flaws of the Hensei films I will admit. But I think the hippie aspect and children are more intelligent than adults in the M series is a bigger flaw, it's so Japanese (Anime) cliche to the point of annoying. I tend to ignore the psychic scenes in the Hensei films as I'm watching them. I think suit designs were 10x better in the Hensei films as well, Godzilla has a square ended muzzle, stocky, and looked powerful, after the G2000 and GMK suits, the GxMG suit and FW suit look weird and Godzilla has a tiny muzzle and weird expression.
GMAN I understand your point of the Hensei films where humans just sit and watch G fight at the end, I kind of disagree though. The gun fight between the android/humans against the future humans in GvsKG was a point of the plot. As well as what's her face operating Mecha King Ghidorah. Also in GvsDestroy humans being directly involved with G's meltdown from being crucial. Mogera and MechaG operators as well. Humans are a lot more involved I think than in the M series where like in G2000 sit and watch the fight.
finally someone who has thought this through and counters those who are b*tching at LP about the marketing and gives good explaination
really i like the millenium series because it is more newer and as gman stated in lack of continuity, the millenium and showa series are great places for those who are new to the franchise or for someone you just want to show what a 'true' godzilla movie is like.
what is wrong with final wars, it is perhaps one of those rare movie after the showa where you see HUMANS fighting, absolute destruction of civilisation, alien invasion, godzilla at the height of his power, losts of monsters, lots of monster fights and one badass ghidorah. what isn't there to like. also i agree with gman on the heisei series.
Great post, I couldn't agree more. The spectacle of seeing Godzilla for the first time needs to be preserved for the film's release. For a creature feature like this the more mystery surrounding it, the better. I'm going to the cinema to see Godzilla, that's what I'm paying for, so to see him 3 months early on youtube would completely ruin that sense of excitement. That's why Cloverfield did so well and had people queuing up on opening day...they came to see what the f*ck lobbed the statue of liberty's head half way across Manhatten. They were clever with the marketing and I hope Legendary are equally as prudent with their trailers.
I literally made an account cause of this haha.
But toywiz is very credible. I've actually been to the store multiple times and have bought things off of it in the past. Very good store, very trust worthy. Prices are a little on the expensive side, but they do have a lot of stuff you cannot find anywhere else. But I highly reccomend ordering from them. You will not regret it
