Where does this info come from?  I've heard many fans make this assertion that there definitely wouldn't be any classic Toho monsters, but I've never heard anything along those lines from anyone actually involved with the film.

Pretty durpy looking figure, but this is marketed to the younger fans instead of the collectors, so it makes sense. We've always known his atomic breath would be blue, but it's nice to see it incorporated in some form.

What I find hilarious is that some fans are taking this toy as a literal representation of the movie. They actually think because Godzilla's upper jaw almost comes off on the toy, and that the toy bends over to fire the ray, means the exact same thing will happen in the movie.

i guess that full promotional godzilla with the body was the legit thing in that brazil expo, also again this is a toy for kids, you can just tell so of course it's not going to look good.

and this proves the amazon banner is real the small godzilla toy with stickers and everything that you guys say is "Fake" exept the chinese toy but who knows if thats really 

Either way, gills or not, I also don't see him being slowed down anytime soon beyond a giant MUTO attack. As I've said earlier, you can get a creature that size without breaking the laws of physics, can give it exotic abilities without breaking the laws of physics, and even create ways for it to swim and remain not sinking into the ground all the time given its proportions and size without breaking the laws of physics, but relying on air is one problem that can't be solved by way of any real means, so just lower the importance of the substance through self-sufficiency in other bodily regards.

I'm not saying air isn't important, and is likely an important part of specific bodily processes, perhaps even the famed atomic breath's creation, but with a creature that size, you can't rely on it as urgently as a normal creature.

Therefore, I propose that if he does happen to have gills, it's simply a remnant of a past life that continued to evolve (in a nuclear fashion of course!) with Godzilla, and is a way to get some extra oxygen from water without needing to surface to breathe, but it's only a supplementary need for oxygen from any source, and not an urgent life-threatening one.

I remember seeing an artist on deviantART do their own take on the outline of the flying MUTO creature, and to them, they thought it looked more like the Giant Condor. Yes, THAT Giant Freaking Condor!

To anyone thinking that's its Rodan, mothra, Ghidorah. Here are no TOHO monsters in it, from the first monster besides Godzilla: Anguirus to the last: Kaizer Ghidorah, none of them are in godzilla 2014.

I wouldn't worry about it, I pre-ordered both classic Godzilla figures through bigbadtoystore and when they emailed me on the cancellation of the 1985 figure, they said it was just being pulled from listing. It's still going to be released, but at a later date as it was never actually formally announced. So basically just keep an eye on websites for when they start re-listing the 1985 figure.

@JUNKERDE what the hell do expect from a TOY!!! for KIDS! clearly. what does every godzilla toy have to be movie accuarte which could mean sharp edges that could cut. also i leaked detailed toy is definatly not going to show up untill nearer or after the movie. seriously you are raging at a kids toy.

Ever seen Godzilla vs. Megaguirus? Where godzilla killed a a bunch of the mutated bugs flying in the air? I think Godzilla wouldn't have a hard time dealing with them. I don't think they will be a enemy to him but rather a nuisance.

Seriously, why does every toy leak we've been seeing, like 4 so far, have made godzilla look like utter shit? I mean not even "an ok figure" but crap figures?  Are we really going to just look forward to this crap and then have to shelve out $100+ dollars just for the good neca figure? You gotta be kidding me, all these toy leaks have looked like utter godzilla-ton shit, the only real thing to look forward to is NECA's expensive model

dammit, i was so close to starting this disscusion myself. it's just that for some reason my computer wouldn't let me post it. but this toy looks very similar to the one in the chinese toy store. wonder if it came out already.....

i really can't tell if fake, bootleg or legit, although this is definatly a kids toy  and it has most of features of the new godzilla, so it looks more legit, also it's western banda

Godzilla has a jaw like an anaconda when he shoot the actomic beam!

So now we know that Godzilla will bend over when he uses his atomic breath and the atomic breath will be blue. 

Isn't this the same toy that was in the Chinese toy store shelf in that one leaked picture?

Fake. the claws dont match up at all with the trailer, and neither does godzilla

I say it should be a mixture of a grizzly bears, a komodo dragons, and Godzilla's fighting stlyes we have seen in the past. The one move I would like to see Godzilla do again is the drop-kick he pulled on Megalon. I think Godzilla's best fighting style was in Godzilla: Final Wars. Either way, as long as his fighting style is true to his character, I'm good with what ever Godzilla does.
