Also... your first drawing of the Winged Muto still creeps the every loving bejeezus outta me. I love it! :D
Nice NES collection :)
Daikaiju_Danielle:
Um............ eww?
:)
Absolutely awesome!!!! :) I love the position you put the Winged Muto in! I also love the look on Godzilla's face: "yep, just a little bit closer, dude... I'm ready for ya." Well done! I can't wait to see what you make next! :D
I heard it's around 40-50 bucks.
Holy cow, that was friggin epic! Whoever put this together timed everything perfectly! I particularly liked the synch up of Bryan Cranston's "stone age" line with Dr. Yamane! Very funny, but still serious, and strangely appropriate! Cranston and Shimura are both arguably two of the greatest actors of all time! :) I was shocked how well the modern sound fit with the 60 year old images too! This movie is going to blow our kaiju-lovin' minds!!!!
Thank you for sharing this! :)
Plus have they released pictures of every you avaliable yet? I would hope not
How much did you get it for? PLEASE TELL ME. I WANT ONE SO BAD.
We will see I guess , I mean toy sales will truly kick off after the movie opens and kids see it, that is when they can release more if they are trying to protect a movie secret...
I don't HAVE a Toys R Us near me. :( LAAAAAAAME.
Still, whenever I can, I'm so gonna buy this. I don't care if it's for kids.
It's just the splash from the first plane that goes down just to the left of the screen. This pic was taken at a very good time, but it's just water contrasting against the grey fog.
It's not a monster at all.
If you don't believe me, watch the trailer again and keep your eyes on the splash the first plane produces. It's just water guys, and the proof is that it dissipates and disappears almost immediately.
It's not a monster at all.
@Danzilla93
Haha! Well, we now know he's genderless! XD
Well, I guess a stop at my local comic book stores is in order! :D Both get in a ton of figures, and I've bought Godzilla figures from them on multiple occasions! I even found the 18" Gipsy Danger at one!!!! My hope of finding one of these bad boys has been renewed!
Excelent find, Danielle! :) These goobers that have the Godzilla 2014 toys are so lucky! According to my Toy R Us, I have to wait until the 17th before they come in, but it will be worth the wait!
Oh, and 2:20... WAY more up close and personal with the Muto than I ever wanted to be. :) Where's that Toy Fair censor thing when you need it?
would spencer's gifts or a comic shop have one?
Guys, go to this link if you want to see this model up close. http://youtu.be/4z1DmE3aTKM
Here is a closer look at the giant model of Godzilla 2014. http://youtu.be/4z1DmE3aTKM
Yes. Including the Godzilla films.
Long story short, the reason is because I used to have a lot of them on VHS, then everything went DVD and my parents sold all of our VHS in a yardsale when we moved to Arkansas. The reason I still don't have any of them is because I never see them at any retailers, where I've got most of my DVDs (Pacific Rim, Godzilla 1998. Yes, I have the 1998 Godzilla movie, and that's because I found it in the $5 bin at Wal-mart and I liked the movie anyway), so I haven't come across any of them. Otherwise I would have gladly tried to re-build my collection. And now that I'm earning money, I'm having to use a lot of it on my pet gecko. Trust me, when I have the money I'm going to try to get some. It's not just because I'm not a big enough fan to just go ahead and instantly start buying them offline. If I could do that, I'd have pre-ordered all of the Godzilla 2014 toys by now.
But anyway, yes, I would really appreciate it. :) Amazon is where I do a lot of shopping, so I agree with you about it being fair.
Edit: Sorry the reply took so long. Just had breakfast.
It is the same Godzilla, ALL of them. The color change because the light variations cause that effect.
Had you saw how much variation is in the skin color of a crocodile with the light effects???
@DANNY, I'd have to agree. Then again, these are kids toys. I didn't expect anything accurate.
Id love to see some spot on models though.
I like it very much. Excelent video!!!
if there were going to be any other monsters in this movie there would be toys of them listed. i cant believe this is still a discussion.
I'll show a picture of someone's eyelid, a picture of someone's chin, and a picture of someone's toes and then gather if they are from the same person.
Way to vague of images to even begin to make that guess.
Im guessing(because I'm not sure) that the Godzilla in the Halo jump picture is the exact same one in that recent poster. Lighting changes so much. In the poster it looks as if his body is reflecting red light from either explosions or flares..His chest is slightly brown but for the most part he is black or charcol grey..Just look at the recent toys.
Godzilla standing behind those buildings like "Did I do that?"
I'd rather buy a display model of Godzilla 2014. This is pretty cool, one problem I have with the MUTO is that there's nothing interesting with the backside of it.
That was frickin' awesome!
Yeah I was gonna say the same thing, I think during day time Godzilla's skin will look brownish, while at night itll be grey or black (I hope it's grey).
And also, the Empire magazine design I swear does not look like the new design at all, just look at all the toys and other pictures of Godzilla, they all look the same.
I think the Empire design is not a fully real design cuz idk maybe its probably too early to spoil his design so they give us this crappier looking version of him.
They look the same to me. Lighting can change anything
I believe there definitely has to be a third Muto, why would they keep it secret if it's a new creation? Maybe it's secret because of It being a surprise, I saw that same bridge scene too! Thanks for bringing it up!
Dinozilla,
Including the Godzilla films? Just curious.
In any case, I can add the basic price for each of those discs if it helps you. Would a link to Amazon.com for each of those releases on the DVD thread help? Prices tend to change from place to place, but I always find Amazon pretty fair.
But if you look just above the bridge during the scene where planes are falling and you see parachutes coming down, right above the bridge you see a definite, "Rodan' type creature bank a quick left then right, kind of in the clouds. very distinctive wing pattern.
Okay, please, no one say I'm not a true fan, but.... I don't have ANY of the old Toho monster movies. I really wish I did, but I don't. So if anyone can tell me where I can watch some of them (Godzilla's on iTunes?) I would really appreciate it.
@ everybody. If you don't have them all, just watch other Toho monster movies or other monster movies. I only have 27 movies (not counting 1998 if you can even count it) but i've seen the one I'm missing (Godzilla 1984 if you were wondering) online. Plus the selection of Godzilla/Toho movies on iTunes is growing more and more. They got War of the Gargantuas now. So iTunes can be a good tool to use. But like I said before, prepare for the arrival of the King any way you can.
Well, thanks Gman. I'll have to see what I can do about getting some of those. On your dvd post did you list the prices or are they not announced yet?
Dinozilla,
I actually don't have all 28 films right now either. A few of my discs have burnt out over the years. I have 24 of them. But I make up for it by watching others:
Rodan, The Mysterians, Mothra, Frankenstein Conquers the World, War of the Gargantuas, the Gamera Trilogy, Ultraman Zero, Cloverfield, Pacific Rim...etc...
Just use what you have, basically. And of course plenty of these movies are coming out on Bluray and DVD starting this May.
That sounds like a really fun idea, but I don't HAVE all 28 films so I can't do it.... bummer. Does anybody
have any idea how I could celebrate?
