This was part of Cracked's quick fix (which lets people write their own arcticles, which is a horrible idea since it allows trolls to run wild) and the staff had nothing to do with it.
As a kid I liked to think Godzilla as male, but now it strikes me that he might be female because endocrine -the hormone that makes women "women"- is found in nuclear bombs and according to "Godzilla vs King Ghidora" he was a T rex that was hit with radioactivity froma nuke during world war 2 but only after saving the Japanese people from the future from the American Soldiers. So although I like to think of Godzilla as a boy theres no hiding fromthe truth. Though everyone refers to him as male so I guess we could also call him male.

No matter, I've been saving up for a year in preperation for this film, so I'll be getting both! :) I just pray both companies give a us Mutos!
Well, it depends on the film. The first film was more adult oriented, but featured some kiddy elements so the kids that Daiei knew would go the the movie weren't board. Gamera vs Barugon was VERY adult oriented, with little monster action and a heavy human plot that would have lost the kiddies. Noriaki Yuasa returned to direct the third film, Gamera vs Gyaos, and he was far more willing to, for lack of a better term, pander to the child audience that was consuming monster films in the mid 1960's. Following Gyaos's success, the series was aimed ENTIRELY at kids. This is when the famous Gamera song was introduced, and the plots featured children as the main characters. Apparently kids in Japan were less sensitive than kids here were, because, or so I've read, the kiddies ate up the violence and gore that became a staple of the Gamera franchise. If you ever wondered why Godzilla shed so much blood in the 70's films, its Gamera's fault. :) The plots got more silly, the budgets got smaller, and by the time of Gamera vs Zigra in 1971, the only adults in the theater were those that brought their children to see the latest adventure of their giant, fire breathing hero.
That was awesome. The music goes so well with it.
i think it was aimed at kids becuase i think that the godzilla movies showed that most of the demograpic who watched these movies were kids and while godzilla hadn't aimed at kids yet i think gamera stared straight away.

Zilla, as long as separated from Godzilla, should be respected as a normal KAIJU. He's not Godzilla, so just forget the 1998 scene and look at Zilla as a Kaiju. I think Zilla has no chance against Godzilla after about five minutes, but he's not a Toho Kaiju. He was never ment to face the real Godzilla. Not that I like the 1998 "GODZILLA".
ghidorah was the first one that was so powerful that it required two or three monsters to make him rusn and took 5 or more to actually kill him. the first mechagodzilla was insane, he had so many monsters and (while gigan was the first to make him bleed) he made a blood bath out of godzilla. so those two are his most powerful but if i picked 1 i would again say ghidorah in general.
It is heartwarming to know that the King's future lies in the hands of those who care about him.

As for most powerful Mechagodzilla 1974. Destroyah fight was dull, wow they're just shooting rays at each other with no one getting the upper hand. The only fight worse is with Space Godzilla, it just goes on and on and on.
But as for Godzilla's true nemesis who Godzilla is always going to come to blows with is Ghidorah. Not Mothra even though I'm sure they've fought more. Mothra hasn't interested me since 1964.
Probably both.
It'll be while before I rack up the money to buy G2014 though.

yes destoryah was able to withsatnd the sprial ray, but godzilla only used the spiral ray on two foes 1. mechagodzilla who's diamond shield melted becuase of rodans energy transfer, so godzilla was shooting a an unprotected mech, also it took 8 hits to completly destory MG2, 2.SpaceGodzilla who has the ability to gain unlimited energy and could sheild himslef from normal beam, when godzilla used the spiral heat ray spacegodzilla had already been weakened by both the loss of his main power supply and had been weakened by mogera, before godzilla uses the spiral beam the characters state that SG is dying and godzilla had to make 5 direct hits before he was fully destoryed. destoryer on the other hand was at the height of his power and the beams do hurt him, sometimes he bleed. destoryah is no diffrent to what spacegodzilla would have been at the height of his power.

Actually, Godzilla is way too large to survive on a solid, organic food source. Even at extreme ocean depths, how many marine lifeforms large enough to sustain a creature that size can there be? How long before that supply ran out? If anything, organic food sources would have to be secondary or complimentary to his survival.
@ ZAFFZILLA - you are completely mistaken my friend. That shadowy thing in the background that looks like a creature is part of the splash of water created by the first plane that goes down. Just watch the trailer in 1080p and watch the first plane closely, and watch the water that goes up from its splash. It's just the water dude. There is no other creature in that particular shot. Just planes, water, and a few people on the boat.
Well, technically speaking Godzilla and the Muto creatures wouldn't be able to sustain themselves, period. In any real world they could never exist, but in this movie world they are allowed to ignore the whole sustenance thing so long as they have at least one major form of it. Radiation absorbtion for creatures that thrive on it is about as good a logic as movies need. The suspension of disbelief is their key to success in that regard.
Going with King Ghidorah. Doesn't matter if he's the strongest or not, Godzilla's battles with King Ghidorah are always exciting. The original world destroyer.
I'm prety sure it's understood, that the meltdown made Godzilla much stronger. He was giving off so much heat his spines that had remained through lava and constant conduction of his nuclear breath were melting. So much heat the meltdown put the world in danger and Destroyah had a front row seat to having to deal with that.
Yes the military killed him but put anything from an insanely hot temp to extremely cold and see how it holds up.

Gotta go with Keizer Ghidorah on that one. Godzilla was literally dead before Ozaki gave him his energy, and without that, he would've stayed dead.
Honestly, Destoroyah is overrated. Yeah, he killed Godzilla's son, but he really didn't do much else. The meltdown made Godzilla waeker as the fight went on, and if Godzilla had been at full strength, he would've kicked Destroyah's ass. Just because he's in the movie where Godzilla dies doesn't mean he is automatically badass. Remember, he got killed by the military...

Maybe the Mutos eat Godzilla and he is forced use his atomic Breath and he is too weak to fight and they take some fleash and then thats Damaged Godzilla but i think Godzilla will use the atomic breath more than 3 times maybe 5.
people are saying they will not make one till august but we just have to wait i might get NECA and then the Godzilla Jr adult SHMA
