godzilla is wearing a big floatie

the Golden Gate Bridge is 746 and the elevation is 220 so Godzilla does not really reach the top he is about half the size of TGB

its x plus its to big to be SHMA

i think its fake personally, the cars looked like its been clone tooled in photoshop

Maybe it looks off because theres no fog in the picture,i mean in the other ones theres fog.

iam so sorry to say this but you guys are blind in the trailer it comes crasing down and yes i do know its from the a concept but the thing in the ice that looks like it has eyes looks the same as the thing crashing down in the picture in the ice you can zoom in to where it looks like eyes and look at the other picture they look the same and wolfguy that was to someone who said it maybe a boat people were not made till thousands of years ago.

C'mon guys! Enough with the CGI complaints. The water looks fake, the power plant doesn't look right, this isn't lit properly! Can't believe you're bitching about stuff like that! You're getting an American Godzilla movie that, from what we've seen so far, looks incredible and our monster looks like our monster. I grew up with Godzilla; the guy in the rubber suit trashing miniature buildings. I watched the first Star Trek when it was on TV the first time. I grew up with movies and shows whose effects are not on par with video games my sons play, and you know what? I loved them and still do. My imagination filled in what wasn't perfect. This movie is going to rock. Just enjoy it, and hope it does well enough for them to make more. My rant's over.

For me it's the moive that I want to blow me away, not the CGI, unless they are syfy bad then that is a different ball game.

While I'm a rare "not a fan of the muto design" (but the caterpiller design is cool) - the Muto roar is really pretty cool. Can't wait to see how this all comes together.

I think the visual effects overall will be incredible, at least from what I see. It'll be bound to have a few hiccups.

Yeah, but I was talking more about like a official game release, like Godzilla: Save The Earth. I loved this games growing up, and I think we're overdue for the classic monster to return to our consoles! However, this game does look like a time killer, and I will play it, probably a lot!

That image does look boss, but the lighting and everything just looks a little too off to be from the movie itself especially when compared to the lower images from the trailer.  My guess is that it's really well done concept art or is from the Art Book.

I'm not gonna listen to it. I've already seen too much from trailers, so it's time to save the rest for May 15th at midnight!

But everyone's comments get me pretty pumped to hear it for the first time with theatre sound systems. I'll trust you guys that it sounds great. It will be cool to read a discussion on the sound while I have no idea what's it's actually like.

Maybe I've just sat through so much mediocre CGI in the last 20 years that I don't give a half-eaten calzone, but it looks presentable enough to be in a 100+ million movie to me. As long as it's used to tell a worthwhile and engaging story that's all that matters. The last time any sort of CGI or special effects blew me away was in 1993.

@Jordan Swickard- I'm sure we all would love to see a new brawl game, and if Smash 3 brings in as many fans as most of us hope for, I can guess we'll be getting one sooner than we think.

if you read the interview they do state they were going to go for the straight up brawl game. Unfortunately they decided with this, it's more popular simpler and makes more money. Again taht is why I don't see a brawl game coming any sooner, they had their chance to make one and decided against it. Mobile market is making alot of cash.

It's a picture, that and is it even confirmed from the actual film? I mean you linked a site, but is there any other proof? The CGI does seem off, but again, it's a still shot.
