Umm, what movie are you talking about? Is it a new Godzilla movie?
I personally really like both movies, but I'll definitely agree that 2014 had a bit more "weight" to it's monster scenes. KOTM was more about the spectacle of the monsters fighting (which is still pretty good, don't get me wrong), while 2014 was more about the impact that Godzilla and the MUTOs fighting had on humanity, which gave the film a more serious tone, making the events feel a bit more "real" (which is why I think that film is extremely underrated). As much as I really like the newer MonsterVerse installments and the more out-there spectacle of them, I do hope that the new live action TV series brings back the tone of 2014 (since it's going to be set in the aftermath of that film).
New Update: ToastyBoi joined Team Ghidorah! All the teams are starting to increase again except for Team Kong and Team Rodan. It is just so weird how Team Kong's 79 members didn't rise to 80.
Agreed, it does show more destruction to the city like what Monsterzero said, Godzilla is about the destruction of nature, not mostly about Godzilla fights. KOTM was mostly about Monster fights while G14 is all about the fear and regret of a new generation of nature. I agree with the 2nd, 3rd, and some of the 4th paragraphs. KOTM is very happening, but there is one thing that is not really good. I can't see very clearly in the movie, it was very dark.

I agree with this mostly, but I do prefer the color grading of KOTM, and the storm around Ghidorah didnt just come off as a gimmick to hide cgi imperfections. Honestly SP and KOTM storm elements should really be borrowed for future incarnations of kaiju, because it escalates them into apocalyptic levels.

Could be the 70th since it's the end of the year. Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II was released in December of 1993, but was considered the 30th Anniversary film. There's a logo for it on the poster.

I agree, the old one is realllyyy becoming predictable to me, I think that they should make a new one, it should be a lot more better than the older one, probably with more titans, they should also include the newer designs of the titans that have come out, as well as the older ones, I also think that should make a lot more platforms, I also think that there should be more options of what you can do in the game, and an inline option so you can play online players as well,

You make a good point, but even though some DO like the action and the fighting and the despair. I’m sure not all of them have forgotten. I myself have not forgotten what godzilla symbolizes and why it was created, and that is one of the main reasons that I became a godzilla fan in the first place.
Sure, seeing all of the fighting and action can be fun and exciting to see, to a lot of viewers, but a lot of them see it because of what he represents, and how he has changed a lot of lives and how he is an advocate for what the horror people saw in the bombing when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed.

I personally really enjoyed both, I'm still trying to figure out which one I like more. Godzilla vs Gigan Rex was more unique and had a lot of interesting ideas and Gigan's Attack had a more classic feel to it, both had pretty cool endings.
They really are upping their game with these shorts as they go on. The cinematography has improved quite a bit
I personally like Gigan rex more.
Wait, if it comes out in 2023, it would be for the 69th anniversary, rather than the 70th.
