Dr. Yamane,
Godziszewski is a great guy. I interviewed him a few years back and his book/commentaries have been insightful. I'm mostly hanging on to the Classic Media discs for references and to look back on the dubs for historical purposes.
I know that the American release of Terror of Mechagodzilla, removed a brief nudity scene from the movie. I guess the suits at Hollywood were allergic to boobies
@ G.H. (Gman) Thank you for your insight and to everyone on this thread. This is super helpful. I'm a big fan of Ed Godziszewski and love his commentaries (especially on Godzilla Raids Again...his dry humor is great). Though I'm psyched he's doing the essays in the Criterion booklet I'm disappointed his commentaries will not make their way over to these Blu Rays. Very good point and I'm seriously considering hanging on to all the Classic Media DVDs. And I guess I didn't read the fine print: that leaves 7 films in the set without an English dub track. No great loss for me personally because getting to watch these movies in Japanese in recent years has been a real treat and brought new life to the films. And when you consider that some of those dubs are pretty bad (Godzilla vs. Gigan, Godzilla Raids Again) you're not missing much (though I love the subtle differences in the American versions of Godzilla vs. The Thing and Ghidorah).

I mean, yeah, I'm keeping all of mine. But for those who may want to get rid of a few, but keep those that have particular features, you lose nothing getting rid of Criterion's Godzilla, Universal's King Kong vs. Godzilla and Sony's Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla.

As far as I know the standard Blu-ray edition for the 2014 movie has all the special features that are available for the movie. There was a Target Blu-ray exclusive that had some extra content back in 2014, but that's long gone.
As for DVDs, obviously the 2-disc Godzilla DVD set would have more than the one disc, which is probably just the bare bones movie. But even the 2-disc DVD set won't have as many features as the Blu-ray.
That's about as much as I can say on the subject. I don't do too much homework on the newer movies since they're so easy to find.
Personally I would keep it all. As Gman said they have stuff Criterion doesn't have.

That is very interesting. Also, for a Disney-esque "2-disc Special Edition" DVD of Godzilla 2014, what would be the best to get for those "Special 2-disc Bonus Features"?

Chapter 24: Oh no there goes Tokyo! Part IV
Tokyo, Japan. June 7th, 2014
A cargo plane flies high above the clouds to avoid the battling Kaiju. The bay doors open up as large creates slide out of the plane, all bearing the Marvel Genetics logo. Parachutes deploy to slow the metallic crates decent. Once the seventeen crates reach an acceptable altitude the on-board computers releases a swarm of 20 Dorats from each containers. The 340 baby ghidorahs descend up on Tokyo like a swarm of angry locust. The dorats scatter throughout the city, seeking easy prey.
Prince Ghidorah fires a gravity beam at CyberG, the energy shield blankets over CyberGodzilla to deflect the beams away. CyberGodzilla charges his metallic spikes before firing his atomic laser breathe at the smaller daikaiju. He grabs Mothra Leo's lower wing, Leo attempts to fly away but CyberGodzilla yanks the poor moth kaiju out of the sky. Junior fires his heat spiral breath again at CyberG, Legend slowly rose to his feet; he slowly was charging the spines at the tip of his tail. CyberG sneers at the approaching larger godzilla, the cyborg godzilla charges up his metallic spines once more as he prepares to fire his atomic laser breath. Legend's back spikes began to glow a neon blue, he sharply inhales before releasing his atomic breath on to the cyborg godzilla. CyberG's energy shields absorbs the attack, Legend fires again but this time Prince Ghidorah joins in to fire his gravity beam at CyberGodzilla's shields. The shields began to falter, Mothra Leo charges up his antannea before firing bolts of energy into CyberGodzilla's failing shields.

Takiura Residence, Tokyo, Japan.
"Bidbidbidbidbidbid!" an unusual sounds emanates from behind the Takiura Residence's privacy wall. "Not now..." she muttered. A Dorat then flies up to perch itself on the privacy wall, "Bidbidbidbid!" It grooms its golden wings before turning its snake-like neck around to face its soon-to-be prey. It's comically oversize head hisses, baring its hook-like fangs like a viper. It flaps its wings to gain lift off, it tucks in its legs as it launches itself towards the two japanese women. Jun had no choice but to transform back into Devil Lady in front of Kazumi, she slices off the little Dorat's head. The head twitches along the floor as its body soon crashes into a bunch of flower vases. "Jun? What is going on..." Kazumi eyes widen.
"Kazumi, there is no time to...." Devil Lady jerked her head to another dorat's call. "Bidbidbidbidbidbidbid!" the beheaded Dorat called out of its severed neck, scabbing tissue began to ooze from its wounds before a pair of jaws ripped out of the scabbing tissue like a chestburster. "Did that thing just regrow its head?" Kazumi cried, Devil Lady quickly grabs Kazumi before deploying her wings and taking to the sky. The little Dorats all chirp as they followed suit.
"What is going on Jun? Why do you look like that and what the hell are those!" Kazumi asked with a fright filled voice.
"Those things are Dorats, We have too lose them first then I'll explain everything" Devil Lady turns her head to look at Kazumi, "there is a safe house up ahead"
Kiyoshi Maeda and Lan Asuka wait patiently by a diesel truck with a cargo trailer. Devil Lady flies above the tree tops as she and Kazumi lands on the cargo trailer's ramp, "Took you long enough to get here!" Asuka snarked.
"Hey I don't need your lecture," Devil Lady retorted, "we need to quickly get outta here before those Dorats can catch up to us" she places Kazumi down on the sofa. Maeda quickly bolts to the driver seat of the truck while Asuka closes the cargo trailer's door behind herself. Asuka glances at Kazumi before glancing back at Jun in her devilman form. "Consider yourself lucky that you were able to save the girl, I believe this wasn't an ordinary devilbeast attack" Asuka comments.
"What?" Jun begins to put on a new G-FORCE uniform after she reverted back.
"You are now a target Jun, they have a vendetta against you" Asuka retires on a spinning chair. "Expect more personal attacks in the future"
"Asuka-san, Fudo-san. Things are escalating in downtown Tokyo"
"Take us to Underworld, Mr. Maeda" Asuka ordered.
"Wait the underground facility?" Maeda asked.
"Yes, that is what I said" Asuka replied annoyed.
"Jun, now tell what is going on?" Kazumi looks over to her "big sister"
Jun looks over at Lan Asuka, "I don't care, she is your responsibility" the blonde turns away.
"Okay Kazumi, I am.... I am what you call a devilman. Those things that... killed your parents are called devilbeasts, both are evolved offshoots of mankind but both are different in one key aspect"
"And whats that?" Kazumi asked.
"Devilmen retain their humanity, while devilbeasts have lost theirs" Jun explained.

G-FORCE Command Center
Commander Fuyutsuki stares off at the viewing screen. "Sir, pilots Shinji Ayanami and Megumi Shikinami have been recovered" Saya reports.
"Good, send them to medical ASAP" Commander Fuyutsuki orders.
"Yes sir" Saya picks up her phone to call into the medical wing.
"Dr. Honda, I want you to send out Mechagodzilla Unit 01 and Unit 02, and Weapon X" Commander Fuyutsuki commands
"Sir, we already lost enough Mechagodzilla units, should we just wait it out until the kai..." Yui was interrupted.
"Do as I command!" the Commander bellows.
"Sir, new kaiju activity is being reported through Tokyo!" Saya reports
"What?!" Fuyutsuki turns his gaze at Saya.
"Extraterristrial type. By the spirits, they are all Dorats!" Saya screamed
"Damn, send out G-Force units all across the city" the Commander commands.
"Yes sir" Saya dials in to send the orders to all available G-Force units.

CyberG forces more energy into his shield; Mothra and Godzilla Junior soon joined into the fight. Mothra fired a volley of energy blasts from her antennae, while Godzilla Junior powers up his spines before firing his spiral heat wave at CyberG. The combined attacks of these virtuous daikaiju soon proved too much for CyberG as the gizmos in his spines short and burn out. CyberG roars angrily as his shields completely falter, now he was vulnerable to their attacks. The daikaiju again fire their energy attacks, CyberG now helpless to stop it from harming him was completely immerse in the destructive energies.
CyberG falls backwards, his chard flesh now exposed to the elements. Legend Godzilla, Junior Godzilla, Prince Ghidorah, Mothra, and Mothra Leo converge on the injured CyberGodzilla. In an act of defiance, CyberG began to pump all of his radiation reserves into his heart. Mothra screeched to Legend Godzilla, Legend double back as he growls to the other daikaiju. Godzilla Junior, Prince Ghidorah, and Mothra Leo begin to pull back as Legend Godzilla and Mothra stayed behind.
Mothra flew ahead of Legend Godzilla, she morphs her front and middle legs into attack claws so she could surgically remove CyberG's beating black heart. She quickly flies up into the exosphere as the heart then exploded like a hydrogen bomb; killing Mothra in the process. Legend Godzilla letted out a sorrowful roar as a bright light illuminated the midnight sky.

Chapter 23: Oh no there goes Tokyo! Part III
Tokyo, Japan. June 7th, 2014.
Mechagodzilla Unit 04 was no more in its place was CyberGodzilla, the over all look of him was charcoal black scales and soulless white eyes, with metal dorsal spikes accompanied by sharp crystalline spikes. CyberGodzilla roars angrily as it turns to Legend, CyberG powers up his spikes before blasting back at the larger Godzilla. Legend charges up his dorsal spikes in sequence before firing his atomic breathe as well. The two beams collide, creating an atomic explosion between them. The force of the explosion pushed the mighty titans backwards as the surrounding buildings give away into rubble. Legend huffs in exhaustion, having not fully recovered from his fight with the MUTOs a month prior. CyberG fires its laser breathe at Legend, atomizing the scales in his legs and underbelly. Legend charges straight for CyberGodzilla, CyberG tail swipes the exhausted Godzilla into another skyscraper. CyberG approaches the fallen godzilla, his spines glowed as he prepares to fire his laser breathe. The clouds above CyberG began to gather unnaturally fast as the thunder grew louder and more sporadic, lightning strikes the CyberGodzilla in spines. CyberG couldn't move anything below his neck, he looks up to see his attacker, Mothra Leo flapped his rainbow wings generating the electrical storm.
CyberGodzilla roars at the rainbow moth before being strucked by Mothra's antenna energy blasts. Mothra flies up above the CyberGodzilla as she joins her son. Both Mothras fire their energy blasts at the paralyzed CyberG. CyberGodzilla starts to redirect his power cells, his fingers start to twitch as he slowly regains control of his body. CyberG lowers his head before raising it up in the air to bellow a loud roar, the energy he collected in his spines fire randomly into the sky. Mothra and her son Mothra Leo, quickly try to dodge the sporadic laser fire but unfortunately Mothra was strucked by one of the stray laser beams. Mothra Leo cried as he saw his mother falling from the sky, he folds his wings as he dives bomb CyberG, he metamorphs his front and middle legs into sharp blades as he stabs CyberG in the neck. CyberGodzilla growls in pain as Mothra Leo pulls his front blade claws out then stab again and again.
Junior charges up his red spiral heat breath at the underbelly of CyberG. CyberGodzilla sneered before being strucked by the gravity beams of Prince Ghidorah. CyberGodzilla turned his menacing blank gaze towards his archnemesis, a flood of memories of his last battle with this creature came rushing in to his mind.

Meanwhile he various devilbeasts stare from the shadows of the streets and abandoned buildings at the kaiju's conflict. Satoru and his crusaders watch from the abandoned apartment building, "How wasteful, when will man ever learn that a fight against a god is fruitless. Even more fruitless when trying to create their own god and have it turn against you, oh my humans are quite stupid creatures indeed"
"Should we speed up our plans, my lord?" Naperius suggested, she was a pale white humanoid being with swan-like wings growing out of her back, she has a long primate-like tail, and her face was mostly human-like save for the beak-like horns growing out of the side of her head and a third eye growing out of the right side of her face; giving her a twisted fusion of swan and human characteristics.
"No, Naperius. These daikajiu don't concern me, what does is G-Force's little lap dog" he glances at Naperius. He saw his subordinate's eyes widen but Satoru then glances away, "I think we should pay Fudo-san a visit" he smiles cruelly, "Harpy!" he calls.
The raptor-like devilbeast Harpy flies down from her roost, "Yes, my lord. How may I serve you?"
"I want you to kill the person Fudo-san cherishes the most?"
"Her parents? Kurosaki Aoi? Konno Hitomi?" Harpy was confused.
"No, not them. Kill the girl, I want you to kill the girl and her family" Satoru giggled fiendishly.
"Very well my lord, they will not see the light of day!" she flaps her wings before taking off into the night sky.

Somewhere on the other-side of Tokyo, Japan. June 7th, 2014.
Kazumi saw JSDF Tanks, Heat Ray trucks, and Mobile Sam Trucks driving pass her house. "Damn those monsters," her dad cursed under his breath as they both watched the convoy drive off into the distance. "Kazumi, don't forget to take out the trash before the curfew" her dad barked. The teen model nodded her head as she ran to grab the trash.
She was walking down the streets she has known since childhood, the nats buzz around the street lamps and the distant whaling noise of the kaiju echoed in the night. Kazumi shivered as the noise got louder as the midnight sky lights up from one their battles. Kazumi bolted into the next street with the trash bags in her hands, she spots the garbage burner up ahead. She carefully opens the furnace before tossing the trash bag inside it. "What's this? A delicious teenage girl alone in the dead of night?" some creep walks out from underneath a street light.
"What do you want pervert?" Kazumi snapped.
"You, of coarse. You, you looks so appetizing I must....' his glowed brightly as his skin starts to budlge and tear away, "Devour you!" In place of the man was a giant cicada-like devilbeast. He deploys his wings as he flies across the street towards Kazumi. The girl ducked as the large insect passes by her, right into the open furnace. Kazumi could hear the bugman screamed as he caught fire, she took her chance as she bolted away.
"Mom, Dad!" she screamed as she made it back to her house, she noticed the lights were out. She quickly opened the front door before slamming it. She locked the door believing she was safe. she curiously traverse through her home, only to be meet with an eerie silence. "Mom? Dad?" she called for her parents as she began to walk up the stairs. she heard a sickening crunching noise coming from her parent's room. Kazumi felt a cold shiver racing down her spine as she slowly approaches her parent's bedroom door. she slowly twists the knob, the door cracks open a slight before slowing pushing the door to open wider. The room was pitch black but Kazumi could make out something was moving around on the bed, her vision adjusts to room's darkness. Kazumi's eyes widen when two red eyes were staring back at her, she was able to make out what appeared to be a large rat feeding from her parent's remains. Kazumi walked a few steps backwards before screaming at the top of her lungs, she bolted back down the stairs only to run into Harpy.
Harpy grabbed Kazumi by the throat and lifted her up, "You're a noisy little brat! I don't worry I'm not going to kill you... Not yet anyways, not until she gets here?" Harpy licks Kazumi's face while sporting a slasher grin.
"Until who gets here?" Kazumi struggled to speak.
Harpy pulls the girl even closer to her jaws, "The one whom you cherish most, my dear!"

The computer sirens go off, "Asuka-san, we have multiple DBTs in the area" said one of Mr. Maeda, her assistant.
"How many are we talking about?" Lan Asuka asked.
"At least four are in the vicinity. Asuka-san, it appears to be a residential area" Maeda adds, "Not only that but this house belongs to the Takiura family"
"Takiura family? Jun's little friend" Asuka smiled.
Mr. Maeda looks up to see his boss's creepy grin, "Something the matter, Asuka-san?"
"Mmm, send in Hunter-J" she turns away.
"Yes, ma'am" Maeda picks up the phone.
Soon a black helicopter flies high above the residential streets, Jun dressed in night G-FORCE attire rappels to the street corner. She gives the helicopter the signal to fly away before bolting the an eerily familiar house. "Kazumi's house?" she muttered before hearing something approaching behind her, she turns around to see a human-sized cicada devilbeast staring back at her. He flares his wings as he flies towards her, Jun barely had enough time to react before sprout her forearm dewclaws to slice the bugman's humanoid arms and legs off.
"Kazar will not fail!, Kazar always wins!" the bugman hisses, "You there, you look absolutely delicious. More so than that scrawny teenage girl!" Kazar clicks his mandibles. Jun clenches her fists as the rest of her body transforms into Devil Lady.
"Preying on the innocent will be your last mistake" Devil Lady snarls. Kazar's head then crawls off his body, now sporting a much more smaller insect-like body. Devil Lady kicks the smaller Kazar down to the floor before stomping on his head, killing him for good. "Pathetic creature" she closes her eyes in sorrow. She then heard Kazumi's screams, she snaps her head up at the house, "Oh no, Kazumi!"
Devil Lady runs to the front door but then felt a vine wrap around her neck, then she was pulled away from the house. She struggled to turn her head to see her assailant, a human-sized Biollante-like Devilbeast was pulling the female devilman closer and closer to her crocodilian-like jaws. Devil Lady struggled against the vines defiantly, she felt more vines being wrapped across her limbs. Devil Lady snarls as her body sends an electrical discharge into the plant-devilbeast. Miniature Biollante is fried from the inside out as it melts into dead biomass. Devil Lady breaks from the vines as she shoulder bashes the front door down, "Kazumi!" she snarled. Legzaimo drops down from the ceiling, planting his giant rat-teeth into Devil Lady's shoulder.
Devil Lady clenches her teeth as the human skull on Legzaimo's back starts laughing. Jun struggles but manages to stand up and lifted the rat-devilbeast up in to the ceiling, she punched it repeatingly in the stomach before tossing the fat rat bastard out of the sliding glass door. "Kazumi!" Devil Lady quickly bolts up the stairs to look for Kazumi but she saw nobody, "Kazumi are you in here?" she enter the parents room only to her horror the remains of Kazumi's parents. She heard Legzaimo laughing from outside, Devil Lady leaps out of the window to bash Legzaimo's head in. She continued to bash his skull in until the rat's head caved in, all that was left now was the laughing skull. It continued to laugh at Devil Lady until she crushed it into bone fragments. She laughs at Legzaimo's lifeless carcass.
"Look at yourself, you pathetic creature! Behold the true form of the one you cherished the most! She is nothing more than a violent murderous monster!" Harpy mocked. She held up Kazumi by the neck, "Oh? Did you pass out already or are you dead? Doesn't matter, you'll be joining your parents soon enough" she tosses the girls body back to the ground. Devil Lady sprints to catch Kazumi from impacting the ground, she leaps into the air to catch the falling girl; they both impact the ground.
"Impressive, you managed to retain your humanity this long! Now feel the pain of all that evolved with you!" Before Devil lady could react, Harpy swooped down with her talons flared.
Devil Lady attempts to stop Harpy from grabbing but fails, Harpy once more grabs Devil Lady by the head with her talons and soon is taken to the skies. Harpy flies in low to where Devil Lady's body is thrashed against Kazumi's house, "Having fun are we? No? If down is what you want, then who am I to stop you....from falling! HAHAHAHA" she releases Devil Lady to her fate. The whole world felt like it was spinning out of control, Devil Lady had to do something, if not she'll surely be killed. She tightened her body up preparing to die but then something miraculous happens, a set of bat-like wings sprang out of her back. She quickly takes to the sky, screaming like a banshee as she headbutts Harpy in the stomach. She quickly flies on to of the blue skinned and white feather devilbeast, Devil Lady implants her foot into Harpy's spine while holding on to her wings, then again, then again, then again until Harpy's body is violently torn from her wings. Jun sported a slasher grin as she watched Harpy plummet into an electric pole, TZZZzzzzZZZZP!
"Kazumi!" Devil Lady looks down, she folds her wings as she descends to the ground. she makes a rough landing as she absorbs her wings back into her shoulders. "Kazumi! Please wake up, Kazumi!" she picks up the motionless girl. The red headed girl slowly opens her green eyes and then looks upon a familiar face, "Jun?" the girl spoke. Jun sighed in relief.

The Classic Media DVDs have special features and commentary tracks that will not be ported to the Criterion release. I'd hang on to them, especially for the excellent commentary tracks.
The only thing the Kraken Releasing Blu-ray have are the movie trailers. I don't think the Criterion set will have those either.
The 2012 Criterion Godzilla Blu-ray will be the same exact one in the Criterion set. So you can get rid of it. Also the King Kong vs. Godzilla Blu-ray from Universal and Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla DVD from Sony have no special features. Those can go too.
I do want to note, however, that the only movies that include dub versions on the Criterion set are Invasion of Astro-Monster, Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Megalon, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, and Terror of Mechagodzilla.

Chapter 23: Oh no there goes Tokyo! Part II
Tokyo, Japan. June 7th, 2014
Inside Hangar Bay 006, a Mechagodzilla Unit 04 was sitting off being fitted with G-Force issued armaments. The last thing to be loaded inside the cybernetic contraption was the beating black heart of Godzillasaurus malum as well as a synthetic mockup of its brain. Unit 04 steps off the platform elevator, unlike the other Mechagodzilla models before it. Its has a hunched back design rather than upright one, it opens its biomechanical jaws to bellow a mechanized Godzilla roar. Ren and Sosuke concentrate to move Unit 04 forward. The left head of Desghidorah pulls its snout from Unit 03's chest cavity, it flickers its tongue.
Mechagodzilla Unit 04 slowly transitions from taking baby steps to power walking. The right head of Desghidorah pulls itself out of Unit 03's chest cavity, Unit 04 goes from power walking to a full sprint. Desghidorah's center head bites around Unit 03's entry plug as it tries its hardest to pull it free from its holdings. Sosuke concentrates to power up the synthetic reactor bladders located beneath every spine, while Ren concentrates on running towards the desghidorah. Sosuke releases the built up atomic energy on to the Desghidorah, its collective eyes widen from the pain. The center head releases the entry plug before retracting its snout. Unit 04 collides into Desghidorah's chest, pushing the colossal titan backwards by a mile.
"Now! Quickly release Unit 03's entry plug" Commander Fuyutsuki barked.
The back neck compartment of Unit 03 ejects as the entry plug fires off like a missile in the air. Computer guided microthrusters navigate the capsule far away from Unit 04 and Desghidorah's battle. The pod crash lands in the shallows of tokyo bay.
"Send out the retrieval teams to Tokyo Bay" The commander ordered. Several JSDF owned ships begin their retrieval mission as the chaos prolongs.
Ren and Sosuke then exhale before resuming their attack, but then Desghidorah fires its hell flames at Unit 04. Ren and Sosuke flinch from the telepathic pain. The metallic armor covering Unit 04's synthetic flesh begins to blister as the flames began to burn at the synth-flesh. The twin pilots vitals began to become unstable from the stress of the remote drift.
"That Armour isn't going to last forever!" Dr. Honda she turns to Dr. Kusakabe.
"Commander!" Dr. Kusakabe then turns towards Commander Fuyutsuki.
Unit 04 fires another volley of its energized atom breath, Desghidorah's scales start to blister and bleed. Ren and Sosuke start swing punches and kicks, Unit 04 balls its metal claws into fists as it wells on Desghidorah's central head. The left and right heads of desghidorah exhale their hell flames on to the chest and back of Unit 04, furthering the stress for the remote pilots. Ren then Sosuke passed out in their remote cockpit, Unit 04's yellow electronic eyes dim to black, G-Force medical staff immediately attended to their needs as Mechagodzilla Unit 04 was now without an operator. All seemed lost as mechagodzilla's armor blisters and melts from its burning synthetic flesh... Unit 04's eyes flicker back on and they were red!
"Sir, Mekagojira Unit 04 has reactivated!" the technician Saya Mitsubishi shouts.
"Reactivated?!" Dr. Yui Honda stared at the viewscreen in disbelief.
"No that isn't possible!" Dr. Kusakabe shouted.
Unit 04 roars in anger as its unleashes its atomic laser breath at the center head of desghidorah. Then it turns to bite into the left head, its jaws locked as its rips off desghidorah's left head. the right head strikes like angry viper but was backhanded by Unit 04's claws. Unit 04 bites into the right head and tears off the beasts head. The central was all that was left, mechagodzilla unit 04 then proceed to pummel it into the ground before biting into the central neck, unlike the others its neck was thicker and made of much sterner tissue. Unit 04 began to chew its way through the final neck, before ripping it from Desghidraoh's body. Unit 04 then supercharges its atomic laser breath one more time before blasting apart the rest of desghidorah's body to pieces. Mechagodzilla roars in triumph! Its red eyes shift to black as it power downs by itself. The severed heads of desghidorah slowly awaken before slithering off into tokyo bay, before the extraction team could recover their remains.
Tokyo Underground Mechagodzilla Hangar Bay. June 8th, 2014
The technicians were working around the catwalks and using grasping robotic arms to remove and replace the damaged armor plates. The Mechagodzilla's cranium unit was opened so the technicians could work on the braincase. They releases the lockbolts on the braincase to open the module up, the mock-brain was seemingly covered in a thick organic tissue. "Commander, Honda-sensei and Kusakabe-sensei, Something is growing on the mock-brain unit" the organic tissue shoots its tendrils pass the technicians as it further blankets the brain-unit. Electrical energy passes through the pink tissue as if the tissue was firing neurons. Then the tissue wrapped its tendrils around the braincase as it increased in volume. The braincase hatch soon closed itself.
"Hey why did you close the braincase?" the technician yells at his coworker.
"I didn't Yuichi-san" the other technician cried.
"What?" Technician Yuichi turns towards the Mechagodzilla unit.
Unit 04's eyes flicker on, power is soon restored to the Mechagodzilla. The cranium unit then starts to close as it destroys the extended bridge in doing so. Yuichi and the other technicians ran for their lives as Mechagodzilla Unit 04 started to now move on its own, it struggled to free itself from its restraints. The restraints give away as Mechagodzilla Unit 04 clamps his metallic claws on to the service catwalk. The catwalk trembled causing the fleeing technicians to stumble and loose balance, they collectively turn around and to their horror Mechagodzilla was charging up its atomic laser breathe. The last thing the surveillance cameras transmitted was a bright radiating rainbow of light along with the final screams of the technicians being incinerated.
G-FORCE Command Center
The technicians and the brass stared at the viewing screen in horror as they watched the incident unfold. BREACH! The Alarm sirens went off as the Mechagodzilla escapes the hangar as it uses the launch tubes to flee onto the surface. Various JSDF heavy ordinance race down the streets, Tanks, Artillery, Heat Ray Trucks, Mobile SAMs, while the skies were filled with attack helicopters and jet fighters.
"Try shutting Unit 04 down," Commander Fuyutsuki ordered.
"Yes sir," Technician Saya replied
"Right away, sir!" another technician replies.
They both began typing in lines of code to remote deactivate Unit 04. ERROR! Not Responding! The technicians try again, ERROR! Not Responding!
"ITS NOT SHUTTING DOWN!" Technician Saya screamed.
The Commander sneered as Dr. Honda and Kusakabe's eyes widen in shock. "DAMN IT!" Commander Fuyutsuki slams his fist down on his desk. "Now the JSDF is going to have a field day with this one" he stares up at the viewing screen as the various military vehicles commence firing at Mechagodzilla.
"Sir what about Mosura?" Dr. Honda asked.
"No! I want to keep this solely within G-FORCE and JSDF control..."
"With all due respect sir, there won't be a G-FORCE or JSDF if we don't call for Mosura!" Dr. Honda interrupted, she places her hand above her heart, "Its time for us to call upon Mothra, We can't fight this by ourselves we were foolish into believing we could have done so."
Commander Fuyutsuki sighed before nodding, "Dr. Honda, do what you must. You better hurry, time is the essence" Dr. Honda smiled as she quickly makes some phone calls to some important people.
Meanwhile the JSDF put up a maddening fight against the rogue Mechagodzilla. Unit 04 atomizes everything in its path, the screams of the JSDF troops blare loud in the radio before being replaced with static. Mechagodzilla Unit 04 roars victoriously at the melted tanks and armored cars, the scattered remains of helicopters and jet fighters, and the ashes of the JSDF troops littering the streets. Mechagodzilla turns his gaze towards G-FORCE HQ's general direction, it now resumes on its path of destruction. GYAAOOOOOOON! A godzilla roars in the distance, Unit 04 turned its gaze towards the new threat, ready..no, hungering for battle.
Junior wades through the buildings to the center of Tokyo. He roars defiantly at the much larger mechagodzilla. Junior's maple-leaf shaped spines light up collectively before releasing his atomic breathe onto the Mechagodzilla. The atomic beam is halted by a protective force emanating from the Mechagodzilla, Unit 04 lunges at the smaller Godzilla with its claws. It grabs Junior by the throat, before slamming him into an apartment building. Unit 04 then grabbed Junior by the arm and leg before tossing him across Tokyo. Junior growls in pain as his body slams and destroys several large office buildings in the process. Mechagodzilla sprints across the city, smashing through and demolishing any structure that gets in his way.
When Mechagodzilla arrives, Junior stands back on his feet, refusing to give up. Junior powers up his atomic breathe but is soon bombarded by Mechagodzilla's atomic laser breath. Junior's scales start to blister from the intense heat, Junior roars defiantly before mechagodzilla tail swipes him into a baseball stadium. Mechagodzilla begins to charge its atomic laser once more, his gaze was locked on to Junior. Then came a blue light, Mechagodzilla's face began to rapidly melt as the blue vaporous liquid atomic breath of Legend hit its mark. The much larger Godzilla lumber on to shore, his steps shook the ground, he approaches the Junior with his intense gaze. The smaller Godzilla looked up at Legend before Legend reached down to bite Junior on the nape, he lifts the injured godzilla back on to its feet. Junior growls at the larger Godzilla, Legend releases Junior's nape before returning his gaze at Mechagodzilla.
Mechagodzilla's head began to crack open, the armoured metal face soon falls from its holdings and slams into the ground. The pink tissue infested mock-brain began to secret a grey ooze around itself, the ooze increased in volume then took shape. The ooze then split open into large parts, soon the ooze began to take on a more biological appearance. Scales formed around the grey ooze as the two parts soon form into an upper jaw and lower jaw of a godzilla. The remaining ooze in the mouth formed into a tongue and rows of teeth, while the remaining ooze in the head formed into a pair of vacant white eyes. Soon the rest of metal plated armor bursted off, as the ooze covered the synthetic flesh with scales. The only thing Mechagodzilla retained from its previous form was its metallic spines but they were now accompanied by a new row of crystalline spikes.

Chapter 22: Oh no there goes Tokyo!
Tokyo Bay, Japan. June 7th, 2014
Legend the highest of all Godzillas, crawled along the bay floor. He spots a large crystalline structure, inside of its transparent material was Godzilla Jr. Legend charge up his spines before reaching critical mass, he vomits up his atomic breath on to the crystal structure. The crystal began to crack before shattering, Godzilla jr limp body slowly floated up to the surface before slowly twitching back to life. Godzilla jr bursts out of the water, GYAOOOOOOON! Godzilla jr. roared.
G-Force Main Office, Tokyo, Japan.
Shin Itoko looks out from the window, he sees the newly revived Godzilla jr. He quick snatches the emergency phone, "Fuyutsuki-san, he's back! Gojira jr. he is alive!" then Legend surfaces as well, his mighty form towers above Godzilla jr. "Another Gojira! This was bigger than Gojira jr!"
"Legend?! If he is here, than something big is about to take place!"
"Fuyutsuki-san, what should we do?"
"Itoko-san, send out mekagojira"
"Sir! Yes Sir!" he rolls in his chair as he snatches up the Mechgodzilla hotline phone.

Mechagodzilla Hangar 005, Yokohama, Japan.
The newly constructed Mechagodzilla III was prepped and ready. Mechagodzilla's two brave young pilots dressed in skintight pilot suits carrying their helmets in one arm walk down the catwalk platform to the entry plug, a cylindrical cockpit. The two pilots done their helmets as they climb into the pod-like structure. The pilots climb to their seats before the capsule-shaped cockpit's lid slid closed. A fluid soon filled the pod, the pilots relaxed themselves as the fluid submerged them. The fluid fills and oxygenates their lungs, "Pod Link Fluid complete" one of the technicians verify. "Drifting sequence will begin in 5...4..3..2...1" Both pilots feel a sensation flowing through them, the memories of each pilot are shared during the drift. The drift was success, both pilots now fight as one.
The Entry Plug was then surgically placed inside the biomechanical cyborg's upper most vertebrae. The entry plug soon travels until its firmly secured, soon the systems all boot up. "Connecting Main Power!" "Releasing main lock bolt", "all systems go", "releasing secondary lock bolts!" "Releasing primary restraints," "releasing secondary restraints." "Main Battery fully charge" "Roger".
Mechagodzilla is then moved to the launching platform, the two technicians turn the keys to release the launch platform. MG-III swifty moves through the various passages before the street opens up revealing the opening bay doors. Mechagodzilla-III emerges from the trap door. Its pilot Shinji Ayanami and his co-pilot Megumi Shikinami prepare to fight the Godzillas.
"Ayanami-san and Shikinami-san, we must prevent both Godzilla from entering Tokyo. Do as you can to prevent this, remember defend the city at all costs!"
"You can count on us, Commander Fuyutsuki-san" The MG-III pilots declare in unison. Mechagodzilla-III slowly approaches its target. Legend stares back at the Mechagodzilla, he dwarf the biomechanical contraption by another good 150 ft. Legend began pumping his bioradiation into his spines, displaying a vibrant warning signal.
"Is it challenging us!" Megumi asked.
"Relax Megumi-chan," Shinji looked over at his co-pilot, "I'll protect you"
"In your dreams, idiot" Megumi retorted.
Shinji chuckles to himself, "Takes one to know one" he counter retorts.
"Stop this childish behavior! This is a battlefield, not a high school ball!" Commander Fuyutsuki bellows into the comms, "Proceed forward" the commander commands.
Legend snorts as the Mechagodzilla approaches him and Junior. Legend gestured to junior to retreat as he turns his massive body around to retreat back into the bay. "Are they running away?" Megumi asked.
"No, Shikinami-san. They are no longer interested in us" Commander Fuyutsuki sighed. "Return to docking port 111 and rest"
"Roger that," Shinji replied, "Let's go Megumi-chan" The mechagodzilla turns away from the retreating godzillas. The technicians and the brass over at G-Force HQ all sighed in relief. They resumed to their duties. The sirens blared, !CODE RED! KAIJU-TYPE: S. "We have another daikaiju approaching fast!" shouted one of the technicians.
"Is it Gojira?!" Commander Fuyutsuki asked.
"We are still determining... Seismic patterns crossing with vocal patterns" the technician read. "Its not gojira.... by the spirits! It's Desugidora!" she looks up on the screen. KAIJU-TYPE: V "Desighidorah".
"How can that be? I thought Desugidora was destroyed by Mosura Leo!" Commander Fuyutsuki shouted.
"Not destroyed, but sealed" Dr. Yui Honda corrected, "Leo only sealed away Desugidora, someone must have freed it"
"Who...Doesn't matter. Unit 03" Commander Fuyutsuki bellowed through the comms.
"Sir!" both pilots speak in unison.
"New orders!" Commander Fuyutsuki shouted, "Destroy Desugidora!"
"Sir!" they complied. the twin shoulder cannons began to twirl before firing off a volley of bullets at Desghidorah. Desghidorah doesn't budge even an inch by the car sized bullets, its four mighty claws slam into the pavement as the ground buckles in from its titanic weight. It roared like a herd of demonic elephants as its wings folded into itself. Mechagodzilla charges towards Desghidorah, Desghidorah's center, right, and left heads sneer at the mecha. The left head bites into Mechagodzilla's right arm, then came the right head to chomp down on the left shoulder, and last but not least the center head growled maliciously at its prey. The center head reals back before clamping its jaws around Mechagodzilla's head.
The computer blare their sirens as the visual HUD's damage diagram of the unit starts blinking in the damaged areas. Shinji and Megumi both grab a hold of the release switch, they both exchange glances before pushing the short lever forward. Mechagodzilla's spines began to glow... turbines began to rotate as charged energy began to spring to life.
AWG at 10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%...70%...80%...90%...100%: Ready to Fire.
Shinji and Megumi fires the Atomic Wave Gun, Mechagodzilla's biomechanical jaws sprang open as blue light gathered inside of its mouth. The energy reaches critical mass before...shutting down. All of the atomic energy was being siphoned away by Desghidorah.
"What? No!" Megumi screamed.
"Damn it!" Shinji cried.
Desghidorah continue draining the Mechagodzilla. "What that is not possible, Desghidorah shouldn't have this ability!" Dr. Honda cried. The technicians and the rest of the brass stared off at their viewing screen in horror as mechagodzilla was being thrashed around like a puppy's chew toy. Desghidorah uses its front legs like a bear to tear away pieces of the mechagodzilla. Its three heads probe the inside of it like a pack of hungry wolves, the left head flickers its tongue at the entry plug but it was side swiped by the central head. The right head nipped at the central head's horns before the center head snaps at the right ahead. Then all three Desghidrah's heads began flickering their forked tongues at the entry plug.
"Who ever must have freed it obvious taught it new tricks! Release Unit 01 and Unit 02!" Commander Fuyutsuki ordered.
"Sir Unit 01 wouldn't stand a chance out there and Unit 02 would just end up going rogue again!" Senior Engineer Keisuke Honda.
"Damn it, what about Unit 04?" The commander asks.
"Unit 04 is ready but we haven't tested it yet!" Keisuke replied.
"Either Unit 04 or Unit 02" Commander Fuyutsuki gave the engineer an ultimatum.
The senior engineer sighs, "Launch Unit 04"
Dr. Yui Honda stares intensely at the viewing screen, she then turns around and sees Dr. Yoko Kusakabe. "Yoko are you believing this? They are sending out Unit 04!"
"Relax, Yui-chan. The twins can handle it, they've done the simulations and passed them with flying colors" Dr. Kusakabe tried reassured her college.
"But that's just it! Those where simulations not the real thing!" Yui countered.
"Are you forgetting that Unit 04 is operated entirely by remote control?" Yoko countered back.
In the newly constructed battle room, two G-Force pilots dressed in their pilot suits; sit off in a tubular control center. In place of helmets they were VR headsets as they control Unit 04 with their VR sensitive gloves and flight suit. "Sosuke and Ren, are you two ready?" Yoko spoke through the comms to the two albino japanese pilots.
"Yes," they spoke in unison, "we await your orders"
Chapter 21: The Hidden City part 2
Daisy pulls Ziggy into a side passage, the spider and beetle devilbeasts pass completely by the passage; Daisy's eyes widen in terror at their horrific forms. Ziggy was so scared he held his eyes shut as they pass. Daisy gestures to the paleontologist to move further down the narrow passage. Daisy pulls out her walkie talkie, "Coulson, do you read?" she whispered. She was answered with static. "Phil, can you read me, over?" she looks around, praying in her head that those beasts don't find them. The walls gradually went from brown-red clay to a waxy dirty yellow. Their was a loud hum resonating from the walls, the hum was growing louder and louder as they continued down further until the passage opened up into a huge chasm. The floor grew smaller as Daisy and Ziggy found themselves at the edge and it was covered in a thick sticky golden resin. "Honey?" Daisy found it quite hard to pick up her feet up as the honey resisted her every step. The MONARCH agents hug the alongside the waxy walls, Daisy saw across from her side was a large honey comb-shape passage, "We just need to...." a school bus size bee emerges from the honey-comb passage. It crawled passed Daisy and Ziggy, ignoring them completely.
Meanwhile Agents Mack, Bobbie, and Lance stumbled upon the slumbering titan. Bobbie and Lance carefully monitored the surrounding passageways as Mack climbed the on the mighty slumbering titan, "Bobbie and Lance, this isn't a titan" he readied his shotgun, "Its a damn robot!" there Mack stood on the chest of the mightiest machine ever created by man, Jet Jaguar.

Coulson and Simmon awake to find themselves wrapped in silk cocoon, Coulson frees himself on a sharp smooth hook-shaped rock. Once he pulls off the stick silk wrappings, he discovers that rock actually belong to a giant bee's stinger. The bee was dead but what killed it? Coulson spotted another silk cocoon, he quickly ran over to free Genma Simmons. "Genma you feeling alright?"
"A little suffocating but i'm alright" Dr. Simmons replied.
"Let's get out of here before what ever killed the bee gets us"
Simmons examines the bee carcass, "This looks famaliar, its almost as if a...."
Coulson looked up, "SPIDER!" A massive diesel truck sized spider came plotting down its hairy legs inside the cave chamber. The spider hisses at Coulson and Simmons, "Run!" Coulson shouts. The massive spider catches up to its prey with only a few long steps. Coulson and Simmons dive down into a narrow passage just barely escaping the spider's venomous fangs. Coulson and Simmons come troubling out into a wide cave. "Sir? Doctor? Why are you covered in..." Agent Mack greeted them.
"Spiders, giant ones" Coulson said while helping himself up.

Daisy and Ziggy continued along the waxy wall until they reached another narrow passage, Ziggy slipped and fell into some of the honey. "Becareful!" her voice echoes off the honeycombed walls, the hums intensify as bus sized bees quickly gather in to a horde. "Run like hell!" Daisy screamed, Ziggy already bolted down the narrow passageway. Daisy followed suit, her hoody was suddenly caught on something. She could hear an ear bursting buzz behind her, Ziggy turned back to grab Daisy by the hand as he pulled her with all of his might as well as the bee was trying to free its stinger. Ziggy finally pulled one last time, Daisy collapses on to Ziggy; now with a torn hoody.
"You alright Daisy?" Ziggy asked.
"Whoa that was like a close one" Daisy replied clutching her chest.
"Eh sorry about the hoody, I didn't mean for that to rip" he apologized.
"Nah, its okay...." Daisy looked over and saw Fitzs and Triplet running down an adjacent corridor near to them, "Fitzs!" Daisy and Ziggy rendezvous with their compatriots, "Hey whats up" Daisy greeted.
"Daisy where did you come from? Doesn't matter, were being chased by this big ugly mad salamander thing"
"A salamander? that doesn't sound too...." she spots the fat ugly bipedal amphibian-like thing with a very long tail. "bad."

Coulson and the team spots Daisy, Fitzs, Ziggy, and Triplet bolting out of the other corridor as a large two legged salamander-like creature comes charging out of the darkness. GYAOOOBiBIBIBIBIBI!
"You got to be kidding me!" Mack points his shotgun at the repulsive creature, he fires a couple of rounds into the sickly yellow salamander-like creature. It quickly runs away once it starts bleeding. "That'll teach him" the cavern shook.
"What is that" Daisy asked.
"That is some sort of ancient war machine" Coulson replied.
"Think it could help us against those giant bees and...?" Daisy's eyes briefly went blank as to not reveal the devilbeasts.
"and what?" Coulson asked.
Before daisy could say anything else, the cavern shook again. The ceiling began to collapse around Jet Jaguar and coulson's team. "Everyone back to the bus" as Coulson was barking orders. a support pillar gets moored from its foundation. The surrounding structure then collapses into falling debris, the team all looked up to see their imminent doom approaching but then Jet Jaguar's arm raises up to block the debris from squishing them like bugs.
"Follow me, the exit is this way" Mack gestured his shotgun. They raced down the twisting passages with Agent Mack leading the way. Daisy trending behind the group, she gets grabbed and pulled into a narrow side passage. It was Bioreyna, "We meet again" she hisses.
"Who... what the hell are you?" Daisy struggle to escape the plant-like devilbeast's grasp.
"You don't remember me? Daisy, I am hurt. Its me Reyna,"
"Reyna? What happened to you?" Daisy asked.
"Evolution" Bioreyna answered.
"Evolution?" Daisy parroted.
"Yes, I can smell it" Bioreyna sniffs Daisy intensely, "You have it, you most certainly have it"
"Have what?" Daisy asked.
"The beast gene, you'll become a devilbeast like us" Bioreyna smiled.
"No I don't think so!" Daisy's brow frowls
"You have no say in this!" Bioreyna retorts.
"Yes," Daisy struggles some more, "I..." Daisy's eyes began to glow red, "DO!" the skin around her arms and hands tears completely off, revealing muscular toned white scaled arms, her hands now end with sharp hook-like talons. Daisy sends a shockwave force into Bioreyna, throwing the spikey woman into the next wall. Daisy quickly bolted out of the narrow passage to catch with the team but she felt something wrap around her neck, it pulled her backwards. Bioreyna releases her tendril from Daisy, "I am not going to let you escape that easily!" Bioreyna approaches Daisy, "Impressive" she hovers her four tendril stocks over Daisy. The crocodile jaws snap furiously as Bioreyna stands over Daisy, she picks the girl up with her crocodile tendrils. "Lord Satoru will be pleas..." Bioreyna felt a bullet pass through one of her tendrils. The crocodile head releases itself as it falls to the ground dead. Bioreyna glanced over at it fall to the floor lifelessly before feeling the other three tendrils being blow apart. Daisy falls to the ground, "gah!" she cried.
Agent Triplet reloads his gun as he then squeeze a few shots into Bioreyna's stomach, chest, and neck. The force causes Bioreyna to collapse on to the floor. Triplet helps Daisy off the ground, "Come on Skye, let's get you home" Triplet said as he helps her tread back up the hall. Bioreyna eye's shot open, her crocodile headed tendrils started to regrow from their severed point. Then came Bioreyna's subordinates Spidroth and Beetor. Beetor charged forth deflecting the hail of bullets, while Spidroth vomited up web around Triplet. "Daisy, run!" the agent struggled.
"No, I am not leaving you" Daisy shouted. Beetor turned and looked at Daisy, he growled as he smashes his large armored hands into the ground. Spidroth begins to crawl on the ceiling approach her very fast; Bioreyna recovers from her wounds, she now approaches Daisy with a hungry look in her eyes. Daisy eyes widen as she glances around the room, looking for a way to save her friend.
"Abandon him" the voice spoke inside Daisy's voice, "Forsake him! Join your enemies, Its the only way for you to survive!"
"No" Daisy resisted the voice, "He is my friend and will not abandon my friends!"
Daisy raises her reptilian arms up, she concentrates the shockwaves to only hit Spidroth and Beetor. The passage shook more violently now, the hallway was beginning to collapse around them. Spidroth and Beetor were thrown backwards, Daisy saw her chance to rescue Triplet. She bolted towards him but there was Bioreyna, she stared at Daisy with hatred filled eyes. Bioreyna commanded her tendrils to bite into Triplet's neck, his head rolled off his now lifeless body. Daisy stopped dead her tracks, she fell to her knees in defeat, giving Bioreyna a traumatized stare.
"Hahahaha! Just look at you, a moment ago you looked quite heroic but now you sit there beaten and broken!" Bioreyna gloated, "Forget about him, he was just a lowly human. We are better than them in everyway! Come now Daisy, join us. You know you want too..." Bioreyna's eyes then widen, Daisy stood up. She raises her arms in the air as she began to use her quake powers to collapse the passage on top of all of them. "Daisy, lets not get carried away here! You don't want to die right? I doubt you have the guts to kill little old me!"
"That is where you are wrong!" Daisy's eyes started to glow a bright red, "I do want to die! But before I do that, I'm going to kill you!" She pulls with all of her might, the passage closes with a violent shake. Daisy and Bioreyna were buried in the debris, Daisy slowly felt her consciousness slowly leaving her as the world around her fade to black.

Daisy awakened in a war torn city, the howls of beasts could be heard in the distance. There stood a menacing figure, tall, dark, and feminine. she had large pair of bat wings growing out of her shoulders and bat-wing shaped horns growing out of her hair. Her piercing yellow eyes made Daisy feel frightened. Daisy then felt a sudden a stabbing pain, her hands transformed first into scaled claws as the rest of her skin started to peel off her frame. "No!" She screamed as Daisy was ceasing to exist and in her place a red eyed monster.

"No!" Daisy screamed herself awake, she stared up at the all too familiar ceiling. She was back in the medbay of "the Bus', her arms were wrapped in bandages. She looked around and saw Dr. Simmons checking on her vitals, once again. Dr. Simmons occasionally glanced at her, Daisy could sense something was up.
"They fear you" the voice returned.
Dr. Simmons leaves the room, then Phil Coulson enters. "How are you feeling Daisy"
"Agent Triplet! He's...."
"We lost a good agent and friend, he died doing what he felt was right"
"But... You probably know already" Daisy rips the bandages away revealing her arms and hands, they were back to normal; aside from a few open wounds. Daisy's eyes widen as she couldn't believe her eyes.
"You had some bad lesions on your arms,"
Chapter 20: The Hidden City
The Bus flew over a tropical island covered from mountain to coast in thick lush jungle. The Bus deploys a quinjet, piloted by Melinda May while Dr. Leo Fitzs, Dr. Genma Simmons, Dr. Erin Ziggy, Agents Daisy Johnson, Phil Coulson, Antoine Triplet, Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie, Bobbie Morse, and Lance Hunter were gearing up as they prepare for what could potentially await down below. Many eyes stare up at the quinjet as it approaches the clearing, the jungles were thick and twisted; untouched by man for many centuries. The quinjet's bay door open as Agents and scientists pour out of its belly.
"Great another jungle" Daisy complained as she felt the humid air stick to her.
"Let's hope there aren't any mad natives" Leo Fitzs commented.
"Seconded" Dr. Ziggy agreed.
"Let's just see what Marvel Genetics is up too. What ever their planning isn't anything good" Coulson added.
The group began to chop their way through the thick jungle overgrowth, the occasional mosquito lands on their skin to take a sip of their blood before buzzing off, the humidity only seems to get worse the longer they push forward. Daisy would make small stops to drink from her canteen before pressing on. The group soldier on despite the heat, despite the blood sucking mosquitoes, and despite the tangled vines laced with poison ivy. The MONARCH agents solider on and there they saw it, the towering ancient structures of an abandoned outpost. Standing in the center was a totem of Godzilla, Anguruis, Rodan, Battra, Varan, Baragon, Gorosaurus, Zilla, Kong, and Mothra. The group press on as they traveled down the winding stairs to the underground city below.
There they were in a chamber of an all too familiar Mural. Volcanoes erupting, some primitive dinosaurs sprouting from the volcanoes wake, a meteor falling and the dinosaurs retreating underground, evolution of human-kind, the awakening of the seven titan beast gods; Diablo, Sauron, Talon, Armadon, Vertigo, Blizzard, and Chaos. The arrival of other titans such as Battra and Mothra accompanied by the Elias, Godzilla, Rodan, Anguruis, and King Kong greeting the seven. As the group pressed a new mural depicts what looks like an Island governed by these Titans, these animalistic gods, humans were drawn worshiping these mighty beasts as they build, cultivate, and battle for these monsters. The peace between the Titans was then broken, the new mural shows the island destroyed, ravaged, and pillage by a set of new titan gods. Among the greatest of these dark titans was a massive golden bipedal three headed dragon, accompanied by a dark quadrupedal three headed dragon, small golden wyvern-like beasts, a giant beetle with drill arms, an odd crocodilian headed aquatic dinosaur, a swarm of dragonfly-like beasts, and what appears to be Godzilla-like beast ravaging the once thriving island. The next mural over depicts a great battle between these titans, the mightiest of the Godzillas and the mightiest of the Ghidorahs engaging in battle as their allies do the same. All the while the island is depicted sinking beneath the waves.
"Quite the dramatic story" Bobbie commented.
"Yeah like as if humans aren't the only ones killing each other" Lance added.
The next mural shows the Island gone, with Godzilla and King Ghidorah still battling as the other titans either rescuing as many of their followers as they can or abandoning them to their fates. The next mural depicts a new island, the people were brought here by a giant humanoid being. The people construct the city around their slumbering god, then the mural depicts plants growing over the world above as the people that lived below were carrying out their daily lives. The final mural was left unfinished.
"So that is what Marvel Genetics is after," Coulson said while staring up at the painting of the slumbering god, a metal clad warrior. "okay spread out in pairs, avoid being seen"
Agent Johnson and Dr. Ziggy, Agent Coulson and Dr. Simmons, Agents Tripplet and Dr. Fitzs, Agent Morse, Agent Hunter, and Agent Mack all divided into pair groups before heading off down the many hall ways.
Daisy with her trusty standard issue Colt 1911 probes every corner, she would then gesture to her companion to move forward. "Huh? maybe they didn't come here yet?" Dr. Ziggy finally spoke Then came a series of distant voices, Daisy smirked at Eren as they now cautiously approach the voices.
"Man, Marvel Genetics is not paying me enough for this shit!" said one of the henchmen.
"Be glad your gettin payed, young lad" an irish sounding henchmen answered.
"Hey man, I have claustrophobia. Couldn't they pick somewhere else to find their doomsday device" the deep voice henchman replied.
"Its not a doomsday device, its an accelerant" a woman's voice could be heard, "The keystone will grant anyone who is worthy of terrigenesis"
"Terra no what?"
"Evolution, Mr. O'Brien, Evolution!" the woman corrected.
Daisy peeks from behind a corner and sees a tall red bearded man, a frail short elderly man, and a dark skin woman in a flower dress. "Reyna" Daisy muttered under her breath, "what is she doing here?" Daisy was about to abandon cover until she saw five more people approach Reyna and her cohorts. Daisy saw a little Japanese boy leading the group with his entourage of adults, three men and a woman.
"Ah shit, the Japs are here" said the red bearded man mutter his breath.
"Terrigenesis what nonsense is this?" said the broad shoulder man.
"Its westerners terminology of our gift" the little boy spoke with a creepy monotone voice.
"I like it, sounds very technical" the nerdy lanky bespectacled man added.
The third man remained silent.
"Okay lets get down to business" spoke the tall bespectacled woman dressed in a business dress. She opens a suit case and begins removing papers from it. "These are the instructions on how to carefully..." she started sniffling. SNIFF! SNIFF! "What is that smell?" she turned her head towards Daisy's general direction. "Don't you smell it?" she asks.
"Yes I smell it too" the nerdy one turned his gaze too.
"We got ourselves a scout!" the broad shoulder man approaches the direction of the smell. The man's flesh started to shift, buldge, and stretch. Feathers burst out of the man's body as he transforms into a bald human headed vulture-man. The bearded man and the short elderly man recoiled in fear but Reyna was awe strucked.
"What in gods name are you?!" the bearded man screamed in terror.
"An Inhuman, they are the next chain in human evolution. Mixed with the blood of the blue angels...." Reyna was then cut off.
"INHUMAN!?" the vulture-man snarls.
"What? No, That is not what we are! We are Devilbeasts, evolved humans who cast aside human form to gain stronger ones. We also have no delusions of human morality, we do what we want" Satoru corrected, "Our existence is a natural occurrence, look at daikaiju like Godzilla, it too once started out small and evolved into something powerful and god-like" Satoru began to grow a set of butterfly wings, "Also evolution isn't a ladder or a chain, its a tree infested with spider webs" he approaches Reyna, "Oh my, I do believe that reintroduction is in order."
"The name was Kotura Kasumi but that weakling is dead, Now its only Marfus!" Marfus
generates a an electrical surge in his talon-hand. He then redirects the ball of electrical energy towards the corner. Daisy grabs Ziggy as they dive towards the floor, Daisy quickly stands up to fire a few shots at the vulture-devilbeast before pushing Ziggy to retreat as she follows suit. "You can run but you can't hide! My lord, let me trail them!" Marfus turns towards Satoru.
"No," Satoru said coldly.
"But my lord!" Marfus growled.
"Not yet, first you must awaken the gift inside these fools" the little boy smiled sadistically.
"My pleasure" Marfus turns towards the corporate henchmen and Reyna. His red eyes glowed with great intensity. Reyna felt every cell in her body tingle as if she was shot across her entire body full of charged particles. The mitochondria in her cells were now energized by the devilbeast's radiation, Reyna felt like her body was on fire as her body began to transform into something inhuman.... a devilbeast. Reyna's clothes were ripped to shreds as she grew into her new body, muscular and covered in rose thorns, her skin was mixed of dark greens and light greens. Her hair was replaced with long sharp quills and where her navel once stood was a glowing red light illuminating from inside her now transparent stomach.
"The girl that was once Reyna is now dead. Arise now, Bioreyna" Satoru flapped his butterfly wings. Bioreyna examined her new form in both awe and terror. Four long tendrils extend from her back, each ending with a small crocodile-like snouts. Her fingernails have been replaced with sharp hook-like claws. She then turn to her former cohorts they too transformed but into far less flattering forms. The bearded man transformed into four armed and four legged human spider creature as the short elderly man swelled into a fat humanoid stag beetle. "Spidroth and Beetor, arise" Satoru hovered above the newly transformed devilbeasts, "I command you to hunt down those bothersome MONARCH agents"
Bioreyna bowed, "As you command, my lord. We will make their suffering eternally painful" Bioreyna turned around, she catches the scent of the fleeing agents.
"Bioreyna, should any of them have the gift, Bring them back here" Satoru commanded.
"and if they don't?" Bioreyna asked.
"Then kill them dead!" his eyes widen as he sports a psychotic grin. Bioreyna took her two subordinates with her as they began to pursue Daisy and Ziggy. Daisy would periodically glance over her shoulder to see if those things were following her.
"Keep running, Doctor!" Daisy shouted as she glances over her shoulder one more time and there she saw something was approaching them. Daisy glances down at her Colt 1911, she quickly turns around to squeeze off a few shots into her pursuer. Bioreyna collapses backwards as her subordinates Spidroth and Beetor pass their fallen commander as they continue the pursuit.
Bioreyna slowly returned to her feet, her chitinous skin acted like kevlar in stopping the bullets from penetrating her flesh. "Daisy Johnson, you will be mine!" she snarled.
I haven't even thought of that, currently the island was the last direct connection to an Agents of Shield plot; however I am open to include the Jurassic Saga in a later chapter, I'm still reposting these old chapters
