If the MV continues after G vs K(and I hope it does) then great. It could be a money maker if done right. I don't know about the rest of you... but I have watched my DVD of KOM 7 times since it arrived. I still wonder how this movie did not do well in the box office. My take is that WB/Legendary pushed Pacific Rim ahead of both Godzilla films and that was a bad idea. There is no "KING" in Pacific Rim... and frankly I did not care for either one... but it was a bad idea to bring both G films out on the heels of both PR movies in my opinion. It was a bad strategy. 

They got KOM right... but it should have been released before Pac Rim and then maybe PR would have done better.

I hope Kong is the "bad guy' in the next film. The ORCA tech was copied by Jonah's team and they will use it to control Kong and have him fight Godzilla. Just a theory. Godzilla will win because if he does not... then what would have been the point of any of the theme of the KOM ? Kong brings balance to his home. Godzilla brings balance to the world... so the idea of one killing the other makes no sense. Being defeated does not mean being killed. I hate it when people speculate who is going to kill who in GvsK. Sports have winners and losers. The same could be said about the MV. Mothra could have killed Rodan but didn't. Godzilla's only aim was to kill Ghidorah... not the other titans. He has had years to go to skull island and do whatever and has not... so if that's the case.. there has to be another reason why the two fight... and I say it's because of man made interference. Via the abuse of the ORCA tech and or a hybrid titan that man creates.

It's fake. Anyone could have made up that scenario in their sleep. Hopefully we'll get a real trailer when JOKER starts.

Unlike most Godzilla fans, I have no problem with its redesign and it was the second Godzilla movie I watched. I tend to think of it as the cheetah of Godzillas compared to the toho's panthera

I haven't seen any Millenium, I've seen some Heisei and Show, and the new ones... also tristar, if you count it (I don't for "Godzilla") If I had enough money and/or time, I'd watch them all within a few weeks. However, little by little, I get to watch more and more... And this weekend I might get to see another one... still have to decide though. Main choice is GMK, either that or 2000 or final wars.

I like the idea of his kaiju/titan, I think a dinosaur that evolved to be snake-like through convergent evolution could be interesting. However I would like to clear a misconception about convergent evolution, just because it evolved to be snake-like doesn't mean turning the creature completely into a snake, the hypothetical creature also has to retain some dinosaur traits as well.

I have yet to finish the millennium series, I'm going to start soon though. I have seen all of Showa and Heisei, except for the auxiliary movies like Varan and Frakenstein to name a few

Yeah, I saw Godzilla V.S. Destoroyah for the first time on Saturday... I always heard Godzilla lost... but he didn't... I mean he did die... but not to Destoroyah... and Destoroyah was kinda trying to escape at the end until the military got him... so that's not really a loss... it's a victory that didn't end in death...

Yeah, and what a fun discussion ((DBZA Perfect Cell Sotto Voice) My endorphins are going crazy right now) But I feel kinda bad... Chapter 28: Turning Point Part III

North coastline, Venezuela. July 26th, 2016.


Vertigo flickers her tongue out while hissing victoriously, Blue found the strength to climb on her feet, Vertigo turns her cobra-like head around; she sneers at the weaken Zilla. She smacks Blue across the snout with his tail, Blue's head jerk to the side as Vertigo then kangaroo kicked her in the side. Blue fell on her side, Vertigo flickers her forked tongue tauntingly at her. Vertigo pulls back her head before striking her fangs into Blue like a snake, she drags Blue around her massive body bulldozes over miles of jungle. She releases her jaws as Blue slide across the jungle, crushing everything in her wake. Vertigo flickers her tongue as she zeros in on her prey, she waves her stinger tauntingly at the injured Blue.

Daisy just stands there like a puppet with her strings cut, Lincoln quickly takes the opportunity to fire the particle cannon into Vertigo's back. Vertigo turns her gaze towards Quake Danger, Daisy's eyes turn blank once more. She disconnects her feet from the jaeger's feet pedals, Lincoln does the same before getting thrown against the walls of the pilot chamber. Vertigo edges her face closer to the Jaeger, controlling Daisy like a puppet.

Daisy sneers as she held out her hands, a rippling wave is projected from her hands as she continues to push Lincoln in to the wall. The flesh around her forearms begins to rip away exposing her reptilian flesh underneath. "You just couldn't be happy for me! Always have to interfere!" Daisy reaches up to her face and pulls the rest of her humanity off her Xillien body, her tail unravels until it hits the floor, blonde hair grows from the slime covering her bald scalp as a pair of ghidorah horns stretch from her brow. "Now die..." Daisy sheds a tear as she intensifies her shockwave attack. Gyaaaaoooooonn, maple-leaf spikes breaks from the surface, Godzilla jr has arrived on the shore. Spikes glow red for a moment before Junior fires his spiral heat breath at Vertigo's back. The spiral heat breath burned away most of the skin on her back exposing some rib bones and chard muscles, Vertigo hisses as she turns her neck and head towards the Godzillasaurus gigas.

Daisy falls to her knees, "No, Vertigo give me your strength....I am so close!" Vertigo aims her tail at Quake Danger before sucking the fragment of her power out of the xillien girl. Daisy's eyes revert back to normal, her nose bleeds as she passes out in front of Lincoln. Vertigo envealopes a blue energy around herself as Godzilla jr charges up his maple-leaf spikes, Vertigo flickers her tongue out the physically imposing godzilla before vanishing before his eyes. Godzilla jr fires his atomic breath at the ground were she once stood.

Godzilla Jr. approaches the young zilla, Blue stares up at the upright godzilla. Growwwwllll! Armadon crawls on to shore to great both godzillasaurids, he stands on his hind legs as he approaches the poisoned zilla. Armadon sniffs the stinger wound before snorting, he slowly concentrates his energy in his horns before releasing the energy into Blue. The venom seeps out of her wounds as Armadon grunts and groans, the wound then seals up; Blue slowly rises on her feet as Armadon snorts exhausted.

Jaeger Battle College, Kawaii, Hawaii, United States. July 27th, 2016.

The damaged Jaegers were undergoing repairs as their pilots were rushed to the medical wing. Daisy Johnson however was transferred to the research wing. Daisy slowly regain consciousness, she stared at an unfamiliar ceiling. She tries to sit up but her wrists were strapped to her medical bed, she glances at the straps. "What the hell" she growled, she glances at the pressurized door before again glance at her wrists, she examines her hands. "What....the...." her hands were pale white and scaly, "Shouldn't they be human again like before?"

The pressurized door opens up, air seeps from the room. People donned in moonsuits enter the room, Daisy struggles against her restraints as the people in the moonsuits hover over her. The moonsuits clad people whisper to themselves before staring at the naked monster woman on the medical bed. One of the moonsuit people sat in a chair adjacent of the bed, "What are you?" he had a thick Japanese accent. Daisy stared at the man with her menacing blood red eyes, "I am...I was human...I think...I'm Xillien" she examines the rest of her body.

"Xirrien? This is our first time seeing a xirrien in their true form. Interesting, your true form bares many resemblance to both human and Kaiza Gidora's first form"

"You mean Monster X? That monster that nearly killed me four years ago" Daisy bared her fangs.

"Yes, first we must ask. How did you become xirren? Why did you damage the Jaegers? What happened in Venezuela? What happened to you?" the Japanese moonsuit man asked.

"Well first, who are you?" Daisy demanded.

"I am Dr. Ishiro Serizawa" Serizawa introduces himself.

"Serizawa? You're the expert on Godzilla. Okay I'll be fair. Well my Dad is human, my mom is xillien. I don't remember what happened after I was compelled to lure out Vertigo" Daisy answered back.

"We've been checking your brain scans provided to us by Dr. Genma Simmons, what ever was controlling you up to this point; is completely gone" Serizawa glances at the brain scans, "However, seeing you in that form. Makes me wonder how much of you have changed?"

"So what am I, exactly? Human, Xillien? Maybe I'm an Inhuman or an X-Man" Daisy jokes.

"Kaijin,"

"Whats a Kaijin?"

"Kaijin is a terminology designated to any human derived organism. There has been reports of humans exhibiting powers similar to the titans whether they were exposed to G-Energy like Dr. Bruce Banner,"
Bruce Banner then removes his moonsuit's headgear as Serizawa continued his speech, "carries titan-like beast genes, like Dr. Jason Bates" the other Moonsuit person removes their headgear, revealing an imposing blonde hair man, "or is the offspring of a human and alien union" Serizawa points at Dasiy.

"So that makes you the only non-kaijin here" Daisy points out.

Serizawa removes his headgear, "You are correct, Johnson-san. From the report your co-pilot gave us, your actions while under the control of the titan Vorago were not your own and so MONARCH will not press charges against you. However your actions will be monitored more closely from now on due to your parentage, you are not like the others"

"Others, what others?" Daisy asked.

"You are not the first human-xillien hybrid, Johnson-san. There were others but they were merely humans with superhuman reflexes, they lacked the your unique condition" Serizawa bridged his hands together as he continued.

"Perhaps you are also a carrier of the beast gene? Which would make you part Devilman" Jason suggested, "Only If I can borrow some of your blood, Ms. Johnson?"

"What? You want some of my blood, i don't think so. Also another thing? Why are you still keeping me here and why am I naked?" Daisy shouted.

"Our apologizes" he backed away as Dr. Banner provided Daisy a white robe. "You are now free to go Johnson-san," Serizawa releases the restraints from her.

Daisy rubs her wrists before grabbing the robe from Dr. Banner. She puts it on, she then feels a stinging sensation across her body as her human skin starts to grow over her xillien flesh. "Wait what-what?!" Daisy cried.

"Oh yes, seems since you are half-human you have a natural human disguise," Serizawa pointed out, "almost as if it were engineered" he muttered to himself.

"What was that last part?" Dasiy asked.

"Sayonara, Johnson-san" Serizawa waved her goodbye as the girl walked out of the pressurized door.

"What a shame, I wanted to bring back some samples for Samuelson Labs to analyze" Jason sighed.

"We will have to do a better job at keeping on eye on her, she could be very dangerous if she were to be swayed by the wrong sorts" Serizawa added.

"You are talking about the girl's parents?" Bruce asked.

"Not just them, reports of a militant faction of devilbeasts calling themselves the crusaders have been recently sighted in Little Tokyo" Jason added, "Also don't forget about those crazy ecoterrorist groups and the Cult of Ghidorah, on top of the Xillien threat"

"Just what we need, more problems" Serizawa shook his head.

Eh, I'm kinda having fun with this. But it won't matter anyway, they're going to keep trying and trying and some other poor guy is gonna have to deal with Macumba later. Might as well troll a troll, you know? ZE CANNIBAL TROLL RETURNS!!!!!

Chapter 27: Turning Point Part II

Kawaii, Hawaii, United States. July 26th, 2016.

"Chaos has erupted all over Tokyo...." "The creature that attacked has been confirmed to be a member of the Godzillasaurus family...." "This new Godzilla appears to have died from its wounds...." "Its alive! The New Godzilla is alive!" ".....It has changed again, they are everywhere! God help us they are everywhere!" The news feed suddenly dies. "We have lost our correspondent in Tokyo... My god, these damn titans keep getting uglier and dangerous every day it seems"

Coulson's team stare at the viewscreen. Their reactions were mixed between anger and scared, "That is why they all need to be killed off, Like robots, Monsters are always going to kill people off. We must kill them before they can kill us" Mack grabs his jaeger helmet as he and Elena walk off to the hangars.

"Wait even the good ones like Mothra?" Daisy follows Mack and Elena.

"She is a monster isn't she?" Mack replies.

"I've been around Mothra, she is the center of an entire culture of people, she is their goddess. You can't just lump her in with the more destructive titans!"

"The fact a monster is being worshiped as a god is blasphemy" Elena replies, "There is only one god and he looks human"

"Stop referring to that bug as a her, its an It" Mack retorts to Daisy. "It doesn't deserve our kindness, only a can of raid"

Daisy stops in her tracks as her two friends head for their Jaegers, "I don't believe this, they'll kill just about anything" Lincoln finally caught up to his co-pilot. "Lincoln, with me now" she gentle tugs at his arm.

Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean

The Jeagers are dropped into the ocean off the coast of Venezuela. "Okay Jaeger squad 01. Your objective is simple, search and destroy the titan named Vertigo. She manage to control this entire region and the surrounding countries, you will be instrumental in freeing them"

The Jaegers displace large amounts of water as they come ashore, fortunately there were no population centers near the flood zone. The Jaegers stomp around in the Venezuelan jungle, birds flee from the tree canopies as the titanic robots search for their target. "Where the bloody hell is it?" asked Agent Hunter.

"Dasiy do you see anything?" Agent Mack asks.

The Quake Danger suddenly slams its mechanical fist into the ground sending radio impulse into the ground. "Daisy what are you doing?" Lincoln turns nervously to his copilot, he briefly caught a glimpse of daisy's blank eyes before they reverted back to normal, "Daisy?"

"Huh? What?" Daisy turns to her copilot.

"Are you feeling up to this?" Lincoln asks.

"Of coarse I am, lets get back this sucker and go" Daisy brushes him off, " I'm fine, really"

"If you so fine! Why did you give away our positions with that stunt of yours!" Mack barks through the comms.

"Its taking forever finding this thing, I thought I could lure it out" Daisy replies.

"Well give us a heads up next time, okay love?" Hunter retorts.

The trees in the distance sway as something big was slowly sneaking among them, the distant sounds of a rattlesnake's rattle could be faintly heard. The sounds of snakes hissing grew louder and louder. The Jaegers scan the tree canopies as the giant mecha huddle together, awaiting for something to happened or rather hoping nothing happen. A blue serpentine neck rose from the sea of trees, it flares its hood like a cobra, the spikes that adorn its hood rattle like a rattle snake. Vertigo bares his snake-like fangs at the Jaegers as she stood up from nest.

The Jaegers tower by a good extra 100 ft, as Vertigo was roughly taller than Showa Godzilla. Vertigo drags out a long hiss before flickering her forked tongue at the jaegers. She raises her stinger tail to emit a blue rings of energy into Quake Danger. Daisy's eyes turn blank white once more, the drift passes a new set of memories into Lincoln as he sees Daisy memories under Vertigo's enthrallment as well as Vertigo's own memories.

Lincoln sees a strange world of purples, blues, and red vapor. Rather stars emitting light it, they were giant spherical eldritch abominations that were covered in eyes with star shaped pupils. There a blue ocean planet orbited one of these "stars". Vertigo stood in front of the elders of her kind, they raised their tails to bless her with their collective energy; but Vertigo thirst for more. Vertigo now with the powers of foresight, she saw a vision of herself as a conquering goddess; with countless planets under her enthrallment. The vision ended, she wondered how could she become that power? Then it dawned on her, she raises her tail to steal the last remaining power of her elders. They put up a decent fight but Vertigo was younger and at was at full power. As she devoured the defeated Elders, she felt her powers grow beyond just foresight, she had another vision of her enslaving the minds of countless beings across a plethora of many worlds.

Lincoln struggles to wake himself from the vision. But the vision continues, Vertigo ascended into the heavens, she conquered many worlds within the Rift as the visions predicted. However on one world she had meet her match, a race of beings called the Xilafs who were bound by a collective consciousness called the Ghi fought Vertigo and her enslaved minions. The vision shifts to Vertigo slaying thousand of Xilafs by devouring them. The remaining Xilafs used the Ghi to merge themselves into a single being, Monster X....Kaiser Ghidorah. Vertigo attempted sway Kaiser Ghidorah but that failed and soon all of Vertigo's minions were soon killed. Vertigo was beat and broken as Kaiser Ghidorah was approaching her, Vertigo rose up to face her adversary but rather than fighting him; she bowed before him, recognizing him as her alpha.

Lincoln finally is released from the drift vision, "What the hell was that!" he turns to see Daisy laughing like a crazy person. Lincoln realized while he was out, Daisy under vertigo's command had just defeated the other Jaegers.

"Daisy what are you doing? Have you lost your damn mind!" Mack bellowed.

"Have you gone mad?" Hunter added.

"Yes, I have... Hail Vertigo!" Daisy's voice reverberates

"Daisy!" Lincoln "Snap out of it!"

Daisy turns to look at Lincoln, "Why? This is what I want, I have been searching for something to fill this emptiness and have finally found it. Vertigo is going to make this world better, no more war, no more godzilla, everyone will bask in her divine light!"

Vertigo passes by Quake Danger as she approaches the fallen Jaegers, she readies her tail. Lincoln struggles to move Quake Danger's particle cannon. "Its no use Lincoln, you can't possible harm, Vertigo! You saw her memories, you should understand why we must help her"

"I saw a monster with a power trip, Daisy this isn't you!" Lincoln countered.

Dasiy turns to Lincoln, "But it is...." Daisy then jerks her head back to the viewing screen as she heard Vertigo hissing, a dark blue Zilla with bright blue eyes came on to the shoreline. Daisy's eyes revert back to normal, "No...please..." she clenches her teeth as her eyes flicker back and froth between blank white orbs and her natural eyes. Blue now a sub-adult Zilla is slightly smaller then her opponent but that wasn't enough to stop her, Blue charges up her shark-fin shaped spikes before exhaling her blue atomic breathe on to Vertigo. Vertigo screams as her dark and light blue skin burns and bubbles. Vertigo raises her tail, she flickers her tongue at Blue as she emits her mind-bending ray at the younger titan. Zilla snorts as the mind-bending doesn't have an effect on her, SSSSSSSHHHHHRAAGYAOOOOONN! She fires her atomic breath at Vertigo once more. Vertigo sneers as she braces herself for the counterattack, she leaps into the air as she morphs the apex of her tail into a sharp stinger. She plants her feet on Blue's back, shoving the basal godzillasaurid into the ground, she stabs Blue in the ribs with her stinger before leaping off.

I was just pointing a misconception, a lot of people think all reptiles are related to lizards. Not knowing that reptiles groups are far more complex than one realizes. So far to science there are only extant two reptile groups, Archosaurs (Birds and Crocodilians[Alligators, Crocodiles, Caimans, and Gharials]) and Lepidosaurs (Snakes, Lizards, and Tuatara). Turtles on the other hand, scientist are still debating which group do they belong to but I'm leaning towards archosaur since fossil evidence and genetic evidence sports this hypothesis.
