Ha, THANK YOU
But I do want a 3 hour Monsterverse film
@SonicTiger
Yes but to our knowledge at the time so did KOTM
Goji and Gman, BRUH.
Also Gman, I was kinda hoping you had something to say about my latest comments in the retrospective.
Off-Topic, I know. But back to the bruh part. Why I said that is because GvK has a whole lotta story to tell, and it doesn't seem right to jam it all in an hour and 53 minutes (YES, I looked).
@Gman
Thank you.
AlloCine has been correct about run times for the other Monsterverse films when they were announced.
It will not be 3 hours. The majority of the Monsterverse films have clocked an average of 2 hours and King of the Monsters actually ran a little too long.
Adam Wingard is also not a very powerful director and the studio will have mandated a 2 hour time slot because it can fit more theater showings into a single day. Most studios prefer this. The only reason movies like Avengers: Endgame got away with something longer is due to the popularity of the franchise.
And honestly, a 3 hour Monsterverse movie sounds exhausting.
I think that there should be a thing that we have to do for the person after they get the first comment.
so like if you get first,
I have to respond with *Bow in the comments
And also it would make sense for it to be 3 hours
I don’t think it will be 3 hrs
Yeaaaaaah, no.
All people are created equal.
We deserve to comment first.
We need official rules for this:
I am always right
I get all the points
And We should all bow to the first commenter
I don't trust AlloCine, due to the fact if that was actually true that means WB sabotaged the movie like they did with Justice League, and I don't think there would ever be a #ReleaseTheWingardCut thing ever.
And Xenotaris, you win some and you lose some.

This article pulled quotes from the collider interview.
This is my reference link btw Gman.
Hopefully Godzilla Vs. Kong gives Madison more time to shine, because Millie Bobby Brown is extremely talented. It's a good sign that the actress had a lot of good things to say about her character in the GvK Collider interview.
Hey no fair, your the author of the post
AlloCine has confirmed it is 1 hour and 53 minutes. The shortest of the Monsterverse.
First comment again! I am on a roll!!!!
Actually, Joe Brody was probably the strongest character in the entire Monsterverse, he was just killed off too early. Next would be Marlow from Skull Island--Arguably more-so.
Madison, I agree, was the best character in King of the Monsters, but let's be honest. That's not a very high bar and she didn't really do much until the end of the film.
The Godzilla anime had some interesting ideas but the one thing I couldn't stand is the main character, he reminded me of a Shin Asuka from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny
Yes Godzilla 2014, it and Godzilla 1954 are my top favorite Godzilla movie. You should give it (G'14) a watch sonictiger
Are you talking about G'14?
Because again, never watched it.
I actually liked the Godzilla Anime. Not every movie has to be Godzilla fighting other monsters. I liked a lot of ideas in the anime
The less spoken about the Kong TV show, the better.
Hopefully, Sonic Prime breaks the bad Netflix animated shows curse...but I'm not counting on it due to the fact that Roger Craig Smith retired from Sonic.
I actually liked Ford Brody, I grew up in a military family so I felt connected to character
and sonictiger wile yes netlix has made fantastic shows, they also made the godzilla anime...the less spoken about it the better
I never thout of that monsterzero9. It being a bootleg show would explain it not having any posters, toys,or trailers.
The one human character in the whole frickin' MonsterVerse that anyone actually got behind was Madison Russell. That's because her character arc was a lot more compelling than any other human character in the franchise.
sonictiger,
How do you know that's where he comes in if you've never seen it? Because that's not when Godzilla first appears...
Human characters are intregal aspects of the genre whether any of us like it or not and the better movies of the franchise include characters that are not only fantastic, but have indirect or direct story connections to the monsters. In the case of 2014, the main character's "journey" mirrors that of Godzilla's--Both being soldiers, with a mission, attempting to reach their destination, solidified with a glance between the two.
Again, you've only heard what others have said about a movie and it's not entirely correct, giving credence to why you shouldn't just accept other people's opinion to form your own. If we do that, we give systems like Rotten Tomatoes a reason to continue existing. Because why form an opinion when it can just tell you?
SarcasticGoji,
Godzilla '14 was actually a fairly vibrant, beautiful movie with a sepia color tone when it was released in theaters. For some reason, WB Home Entertainment put a gray filter over it when they released it on Blu-ray. Hopefully they fix this problem when it's released on 4K:

But SarcasticGoji, Netflix has made amazing shows like Stranger Things and The Umbrella Academy.
hm, thats a good point yeoldfossil, becase you cant really copyright a giant ape seeing as all apes are pretty gosh darn big.so in theory this is actually a bootleg show.
Do you think they'll have an official trailer 2?
I thought the background music to that trailer was awesome.
We see Kongs daily Routine
The Chinese trailer that came with the poster may actually be one of the best GvK trailers.
Anyone know how to get this steam Daikaiju Daikessen Versus game to load?

But still, Destroyah is the most well-known thing when it comes to the Oxygen Destroyer.
Also, I think Destroyah's MonsterVerse design would probably be awesome
