not a fan of the comics....

but I do read the legendary one-shots.

I'll check it out eventually, but like many, I'm not a huge fan of the art style.

I'm more excited about IDW's One Shot, Godzilla Rivals. The first one takes place in the 1970s with a Showa Godzilla design fighting Hedorah--Almost like it's a short based on Yoshimitsu Banno's unmade Godzilla vs. Hedorah 2!

I loved the Godzilla Legends one shots a few years ago, so I'm down for more from IDW. But the fact it looks like a Showa story is a massive selling point. Looking forward to June.

But the reviews seem to put the movie at a good spot, but hopefully I and I alone like GVK.

I have to say. Narratively, this is the best chapter so far. Now I just have to work on action sequences ;)

It's basically MechaGodzilla's II mega-buster but a solid color or MechaGodzilla III/Kiryu's hyper-maser but a solid beam. I think it looks fine. Each MechaGodzilla thus far has had their own unique weapons and abilities. I look forward to seeing what MechaGodzilla IV (or whatever # the Monsterverse MG is) can do.

I like all the MonsterVerse designs don't get me wrong, but I was kind of disappointed with Methuselah. Its just a big Bulbasaur. Methuselah is still a cool kaiju though. Mothras design is different, but I like it.

Well, i guess they're like conjoined twins (triplets in this case), and he's probably just like that because...i dunno, that's his personality, i guess.
