My favorite Godzilla is G vs. Destroya and G vs. SpaceGodzilla.

fyi, i have lots of obligations and a couple "jobs" myself. apparently i am just pickier about my art projects than some other people are about theirs, i often rip up and throw away a lot of drawings because they didnt come out the exact way i wanted them to. well, i may not have done stick figures of i remembered the basic looks of the actors shown i would have drawn cartooney versons of them. maybe golden age comic styles or perhaps anime. but i would have done stick figures if i wanted it to be funny.

Yes, you very well might have drawn stick figures. I would not. If I didn't have a full time job and other obligations, I might have put forth the effort to re-creating the human drama scenes. It would have been considerably harder than the monster footage, and it might have taken me a month (it took me about a week to find the spare time to do what you saw there). You may as well have just waited for the real thing. Not to mention that I have forgotten many of the human action scenes (I only rec-counted the parts I found memorable), so it would be impossible to re-create those. But thank you for your contributions to keeping kaiju fandom informed of this project...

Hello, My name is Mike Keller, and I drew both of those pictures. The context behind each image is not becoming as viral as the images themselves, so allow me to explain: I first decided to draw the creature because 1. no one else who was there did. 2. The footage still hasn't been shared with the rest of us. 3. Someone in IMDB asked for just such an image. The first image is what I remembered two weeks ago of the insect creatures. All I had was my memory to rely on, which is as flawed as anyone's. This was almost two months ago that I saw the footage (once), and I only just drew that two weeks ago. But, I WAS in a group of several people, including Kyle Yount from the kaijucast podcast (who also is responsible for breaking the image of Godzilla's face that everyone has seen). I drew that picture and sent it to everyone whose email address I had to get their feedback. Kyle, it turned out, had drawn one of his own. I won't re-post that without his permission. His drawing was similar but not identical. It did ring some bells with me and the others who were there. So I then created the second drawing above that incorporates some of the aspects of his that struck a cord with me. keep ghidorah replace mothra with varan

Bagan from the super NES godzilla game. He has a very cool design reminiscent of Baragon but is much larger and would present a greater threat. He also has not been used as an enemy in any of the films. May have to modernize him and update his backstory. Don't think any space monsters should be used in the first film.

I love the Godzilla and Anguirus vs Gigan and Ghidorah myself

Titanosaurus would be awesome if done correctly. But get rid of his annoying ass laugh/roar. Anyone up for an updated baragon he's one of my favorites and I think he would be a great first enemy.

Would have to be Godzilla and Jet Jaguar versus Megalon and Gigan. That was a true tag team if there ever was one in the Godzilla movies.

How about Titanasaurus? He's about Godzilla's height and very strong. I would just update him by giving him a more villainous look, a better roar, and some kind of weapon.

In the video he says he can't re-create the scenes with the actors because he couldn't create the actors in cartoon form.

it would have been nice if they made a cartoon of the entire thing instead of describing half of it.... seems lazy and pointless. either just describe the whole thing or make a cartoon of the whole thing, jeez!

They look great! And also, i remember someone who attended comic-con saying the bug looked like a cross between the cloverfield monster and the starship trooper bugs. And looking at this, i can kinda see the simmilarities.

I think it should be a free to play game for pc with customizable monsters and the ability to create your own monster. a 100 rank ranking system and you unlock monsters that were previously in movies like rodan, king ghidora and baragon the last monster you unlock would be the Godzilla from Godzilla final war

as far as team battles go i personaly like gigan ghidorah's team up and i would have to agree with zillahater i too would love to see godzilla duke it out with varan. varan is an awesome kaiju and we never got to see him duke it out with gojira at all and as updated either king ghidorah,rodan,varan,and anguirus

gmk godzilla has awesome eyes, but meltdown godzilla is incredible

There seems to be some hardcore wanting from the fans to see every conceivable Godzilla monster, but some monsters like Bagan and Krystalak have no cinematic reference points at ALL. I understand the Godzilla fan base has some diehard love for their kaiju (like the kind of love comic fans have for the Batman rogues gallery). They should focus more on the gameplay in terms of player perspective, building destruction, monster combat and level variety. An over the shoulder perspective would be great, with a target lock when you want to ONLY face the enemy kaiju. Destruction with the euphoria engine from the force unleashed would be pretty amazing too, with the buildings being made of break away particles instead of solid wireframe. Monster combat should be less gimmicky than in other Godzilla titles, with some visceral aggressive combat with counterable moves and finishing attacks. Level variety would be great too, like engaging horde/rampage mode levels with just the military vs you across an entire city. While I don’t have a monster wish list, I do have one for locations! Moscow, Rio, Berlin, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Cairo, Miami, DC, Bangkok, Bejing, World Childrens Land (Gigan), Okinawa, Easter Island, Planet X, Woodstock (save the earth music, technicolor filter and triply lsd induced skybox), Area 51 (mummified Gigan, fueling Mechagodzilla, crystal sprouting Spacegodzilla crash-site)

Personnaly, id love to see a character like Varan updated, but still keep him at his roots. As long as he is still simmiliar to, well, varan.

No Mecha-Godzilla?! Oh hell no. Mecha-Godzilla would be perfect for a Pacific rim and Godzilla crossover.

I just dont see Mothra in the Godzilla 2014 franchise, because the movies in this new series are going to be realistic, not TOO realistic but realistic enough to make it both awesome and understandable.

No. Mothra is NOT the monster you are looking for. Move along! Even as a child, watching Godzilla movies in the drive-ins, I despised that awful, giant, screaming moth and her stupid twin fairy godmothers. That Japanese mysticism stuff won't work for a North American audience. Sorry. Mothra was DUMB. I won't pay for a movie ticket to see Mothra, and the general audience will be confused by it's appearance. Like, "a giant, screaming moth? What the hell kind of monster is that?"

Remember how Biollante came about? Might be a good idea for Legendary to have another fan contest to create a new villain for the Big Guy in the next film. I just hope they don't EVER do Mothra. I hate that stupid, giant screaming moth and it's little fairy godmothers. That kind of mythological stuff might work for Japanese audiences, but it won't fly here. Pun intended. I always liked that two headed dragon from outer space, though. Can't really say Gedorah was "underused", however. Still, it was by far the coolest monster besides Godzilla itself.

My first godzilla movie was the terror of mechagodzilla. I was more into mechagodzilla at first til I seen that godzilla had alot more films. I was 3 at the time now I'm 18 but I'd say mechagodzilla got me into the godzilla world

I think Mothra could work as a mutuation. If they kept her all mystical and stuff, I don't think anybody would really care. The larva could be still be brown but they should add some more color so it's more caterpiller-like, along with making her slimmer and maybe giving her some poison needles like some types of caterpillers have. The imago form could keep the same basic design for the wings but have everything else more realistic looking and moth-like so people could actually recognize her as a moth.

You do know that the other monsters in this movie are going to be completely new, right?

I realy like to see Anguirus! he's very awesome and have the same history of Godzilla, it would be a grat opponent in a first movie...
