It's hard to state it is fake. Since I have never seen a Godzilla figure that resembles this, or even has any of the distinct pattterns on this toy.
We may have to face the fact that this is just a really crappy toy. The boxes and such could easily have been photoshopped, and if somebody wished to with time and effort they could make one, either to look crappy or truly trying to fool people. Either way only time can really tell us if this is fake or real, hopefully it isn't the latter.
@Daikaiju_Danielle
Absolutely Daimajin counts! Fantastic movie.
I would, however, argue that The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms and the King Kong movies don't count, but that's getting fairly nitpicky. To each their own definition I suppose...
I dont no about the time for the movie like all Godzilla movies would be around 2 Hours i just hope they change the time for the movie
i guess the spikes are less spiky to prevent injury to children so that doesnt surprise me. the tail looks kind of thick and looks like the spikes dont glow so that kind of dissapointing. i guess its okay for a toy. hope the movie one is more impressive
Kind of like the toy sellers saying the action figures will be out in Janurary, I'm pretty sure this is just a place-holder time. Typically that information isn't revealed until the MPAA has given the movie a rating and that won't happen until around April.
Seriously? This looks totally legit. If it's real, blue atomic breath confirmed. Plus guys I don't know if you've ever gotten toys that came with books, but they kinda aren't the best looking.
Kind of looks like they went at great lengths to create a fake... Or it's just a very underdetailed toy...
I certainly hope that this is wrong. An hour and thirty minutes is not the length I was hoping for this film, but we'll wait and see.
Got a source?
Sorry this looks awfully fake. Considering they are using kaji behind the GODZILLA in the logo (not a Z) in the US (I have an official shirt), I am calling BS.
Not exactly what I was expecting. Do you have a link to where you foud this image?
Look at the poster of his tail and then this picture. That toy looks like crap lol. So far what I've seen of the big G he looks awesome, but that toy looks mediocre to me.
10. Godzilla's Revenge
9. Son of Godzilla
8. Gamera the Brave
7. King Kong Escapes
6. Rebirth of Mothra 1
5. Daimajin (that counts, right?)
4. The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
3. Godzilla 2000
2. Gojira
1. King Kong (1933 & 2005)
Looks a little 'muted', especially the dorsal spikes. Blue atomic breath!
Thats his final desgin.....
I see your point but I just wanted to see what people thought about goji14 compared to the others
Ya black crow it has got a bit out of hand
I think we should wait until the movie's release before we start comparing Godzillas. We have yet to see Goji 14's full design yet. Nor have we seen him battle any kaiju.
King Godzilla that is so true
Yes! Thank goodness lol To me, it sounds like he will fight realisticly for a creature his shape and size.
Man you guys take this discussion way too seriously,
Guys Come down seriouslly I never said Godzilla will never do his kuck ass jump in the new movies the discussion is about if Godzilla will do it again but sence you huys saying that is too heavy and too fat he,ll will not do it duh too his big weight and he can,t hop so that anwers your questions
King Gidorah & MechaGodzilla is a must return in future films. Can you Imagine how they will look now with all this advance technology & post production we have ?? they will be sick!
Though I would love if they brought back one of the classic monsters like rodan or angerous im fine with some new monsters!
But it's a key trait...without it he is just....not him...and the whole radioactive element is important to...I understand it's new and we don't want it to be monotonous but don't kill off every key element
It's impossible to say at this point. We know so little about this Godzilla. We know he's the largest there will be 'radioactive elements' to this new Godzilla. This doesn't even necesarrily mean radioactive breath.
I don't believe he will do a tail slide I see it as ridiculous in this type of movie
Again it's what I get out of the movies it's my opinion and if ya don't like it I'm sorry....
I'd love to see him attack Las Vegas. The night scenes with all of the lights against Godzilla would be beautiful.
I understand completely but origin is important.....I mean with gravity he would have to be heavy to support himself (already done) and functioning....well I mean it's just like an animal at greater size function....like a elephant....it can still function as long as it can eat....and it probably eats fish being amphibious....I mean maybe even whales....poor shamu
@BurningGodzilla1995: I agree about those past movies, but this is a reboot of the franchise, and realism is one of Gareth Edward's goals with it...
I was actually referring to the physics of such a creature existing, not his actual origins. How could he function at that size, with gravity being a constant? What would he consume? These are questions that the characters in the movie will most likely be asking...
Hello,
Hopefully I'm not too late. Thought I'd share an illustration for the fan art compilation. It's a Godzilla 2014 inspired kaiju thing. Done in ink. Uhhhh enjoy.
Thanks,
Dylan Griffin Illustrations
oh I can see Godzilla chewing on a slot machine and money falling out....Godzilla in Vegas...the first time when what happens in Vegas DOESNT stay in Vegas
I really hope we get something like that....I'm going on opening day...I'm just glad he is back...
Vegas, baby!!!
That is incredible, literally the coolest trailer I have ever seen, the music goes perfect with it.
Ya but the issue is that 2000 saw a chance to kill a super regenerating monster and he took it and got lucky...but he does have some good skills like the megaguirus dorsal spine arm slice and the body slam
