What Kyero posted is true: any physical, living creature can be killed. There will be no Regenerator G1 from the previous movies (this is a reboot, for the umpteenth time)...
That doesn't preclude the possibility of cell regeneration being involved...
And, as I stated previously, assuming Godzilla needs oxygen, he can be asphyxiated.
Trolling...the sport of those with no life, no personality and permanent virginity.
You see, where i come from there has only been six movies released. And that was in 2007. But too my luck, my uncle (R.I.P you old mofo) had them imported from the US/japan. He didnt have anything else for me to watch when i was a kid back then. So he plopped on one of the first movies i remember seeing; King Kong VS Godzilla. I was so intrigued, and saw all of his Godzilla movies. What happend to his collection is unknown. But then in 1998, i lost interest after seeing the horrible Zilla movie. I feared i would never see my Godzilla again. I was thirteen at that point. I then regained interest a few years later when i on the internet found out there was 28 movies! I had only believed there too be six-seven movies. And then three years later we got a box-set and i was back in business!

I agree they should do that. I love the fighting games and all but thats what i'v wanted for a long time
I was in 1999 and when i saw my first godzilla movie i was 4 or 5 the movie was godzilla vs mothera the battle for the earth and i just loved it, i loved the look of godzilla the destruction it was amazing thats what got me into godzilla.
To my understanding(This was never clarified in the actual movie but various site speculate this) 2004 Gigan didn't cut his own head off. Mothra's scales caused the saws to boomarang back cutting his head off so he's not quite as stupid as that.
That being said I'd still say the the 70's version IF he had the laser included in his original design but never seen on camera. The 70's 1 was just more brutal actually willing to use his saw and hooks as weapons rather than just waving them around waiting for Godzilla to blow him up.
Hey but for what it is it's not horrible....I mean there could definitely be worse
That is fan art at its finest in my opinion
id be okay with zilla jr. in opinion he was pretty cool and much closer to his japanese counterpart
yeah thats definitely fan art
I'd love it. I think he'd do ok against most of the other monsters in the Godzilla universe if they made him like Zilla Jr from the cartoon.
Okay, I really like the idea of Godzilla basically being slowly baked into existence over thousands or millions of years. Makes sense for the most part. Would also have pretty good thematic elements about whether or not mankind is rightfully in charge. Hence his nickname, "The King".
What do you guys think about the Mutos and the 1954 scenes? Any differentiating opinions there?
Trolls are stupid and annoying, and I've experienced some of them, on Godzilla. I just trolled them back until they got banned, it was actually funny (for me).
King Caesar was in 2 films? Oh yeah almost repressed the horrible version that 3v1ed Godzilla still and still got destroyed because he played soccer using anguirus rather than try to fight. Yes it would be nice to see a non sucky version since he's 1 of the underused kaiju that I'd love to see returned however very unlikely that is.
My god, thats fan art. Ive seen it a million times on deviantART. You cant trust stuff like this.
Guys please tell me how you Display Pictures so I dont have to send links like this again, Thank you.
Dammit, I knew I should've contributed this info to the site the second I heard about it. Gotta get my priorities straight.
I think is is going to be 1Hr and 55 mins.
cuz thats what it use to say on the encyclopedia.
Eh...None. i dont want one. The tagline on the banner was made by TOHO, and probably wont be used her in the west.
I dont need to say anything.
If it really gets rated PG-13 then that's pretty good news cause there's gonna be more audience
Don't worry, I come around every now and then, just sing my song. haa
@Uchimata, try google next time dude.
That whole 1hour 30min debate got annoying
Added the tweet for you Kaijusaurus! :)
I'm a big fan of the Heisei look, especially the 1991 and Burning Godzilla suits. I also really dig the G2K/GxM suits as well as the suit from the GxMG series.
Hahahaha @Gman2887
Yeah @Uchimata - Max wrote the script for Godzilla 2014. He's a pretty chill guy too. Really vested in his work and the fans.
I'm sure it will be around 2 hours, but I doubt it will be exactly 2 hours. Still, this is better than the 1hr 30mins run-time we were discussing earlier this week! Thanks for the update Kaijusaurus!
Well in that case I guess we do have some confirmation.
I like that tagline, it's simple and gets to the point. This whole "Death... Is the beginning!!!" or "The King has returned..." is cheesy and, outside or the hardcore fanbase, no one will get the reference. Also, keep in mind that even though this movie is going to take a more serious tone, it's still about a giant reptile smashing cities. Children are going to play a big role in this, so the whole "Death is only the beginning..." type of thing, yeah, not sure how some of the overly sensitive parents we have in this day and age will feel about their kids going to a movie with that. Plus that kinda thing tweaks up the feel, leave that for a thriller type movie.
Who the hell is Max Borenstein? Regardless, it's whatever, people keep posting links to whatever and whoever says anything about the run time. Nothing was confirmed here.
@Uchimata
He only wrote the movie.
Would be cool, I wouldn't put too much weight on it until I hear some info from a more reliable source. But regardless, sounds cool to me.
^I think that after 10 years of providing exclusives to Godzilla fans via Toho Kingdom, I'd have SOME credibility. But hey, what do I know right?
Got a better link? You know, you can embed tweets in your posts if, while typing, you go to Twitter select the tweet find the "More" icon and click "Embed Tweet", then come here, adin the text editor click "TOOLS -> Source Code" and paste it in there.
