Ray Burrberry that Kaiju mothra fought was dagahra
such a difficult choice to make but if i had to choose i like the 1991 suit as this godzilla looked fearsome and powerful and ready to kick king ghidorah
I could be wrong on this, but wasn't Deathla the name of a kaiju that fought Mothra in one of the three Heisei era movies? In one movie he fought Death Ghidora, in another he fought King Ghidora, and in the other one he fought an aquatic monster.
In regard to the mystery second monster, I have a feeling that it will be an aggregate of the Mutos, similar to how the multiple Destroyahs eventually became the final product that fought Godzilla to the death.
My own origin idea would be that Godzilla was a prehistoric species until the meteor hit prehistoric times and killed the dinosaurs and his species.but 1 egg had survived. 2 years later Godzilla quickly grown and is the only "dinosaur" left until eventually he was trampled by a huge avalanche in the artic ocean and was frozen.1954 bomb testing was tested and awoken the beast and the story leads from there
@KYERO, good points, i learned off my own post lol But its nice to see people who share opinions or can agree with me
Kyero, that article also outlines how it MAY be possible, though not by regular evolution, that's for sure. Still a very much natural phenomenon in the article's sense, though with extremely unlikely probabilities that happen only once every few million times over several thousands or millions of years. And it's just a theory which I like and also discovered on my own back in the days of Pacific Rim's hype. But the fact remains that Godzilla is the personification of the destructiveness humans imposed on themselves when they decided to create not only the atomic bomb, but also pollute the world wiht our filth and population to such a degree that we're slowly pushing out every other species.
Gabarah and titanosaurus and I dont know if this counts but also zilla.
@G2K - Actually, a creature that size IS impossible. If you don't believe me, go get a degree in physics and you should begin to understand why. If you don't have the time or money, here's a brief breakdown: http://www.angelfire.com/ego/g_saga/kaijubiologyarticle.html
This little link will tell you exactly why a creature such as Godzilla could not exist. There is no such thing as "nothing is impossible." Can human beings fly on their own power? No. It's impossible. Why? Many reasons why including, but most certainly not limited to: were not aerodynamic, our bodies cannot produce lift, our bodies and seletons are too dense, we have no source of energy to propel ourselves into the air and sustain it.
"Nothing is impossible" is an extreme case of ignorance on your part G2K. Plenty of things are impossile. "Nothing is impossible" is just a phrase used to try and support or mentally empower individuals who are struggling to achieve a goal which they THINK is impossible though it is well within their grasp. That phrase has no truth to it when it comes to creatures like Godizlla existing.
As for the actual topic at hand, yes, the realism that this movie will portray will have to be of the reaction, response, and aftermath of the monster known as Godzilla. As I said, and as are the reasons for it explained in the link I provided our friend G2K, Godzilla could NEVER exist. However, the reality of what Godzilla represents very well does exist in our daily lives and still lingers on to this day. Even now the atomic bombs dropped on Japan in 1945 are still fresh in the minds and hearts of all who live in Japan and have to live with the fallout which is still there today. Godzilla represents many things, all of which are realities we deal with today.
guys i need your help to your opinion out of these 2 figures which godzilla figure should i get bandai hesei king ghidorah or bandai godzilla 1968
i agree with gtbetta35 the last scene with godzilla rising and roars from the trailer should be the final scene but i think there should be a post credits scene where its been 3 years since godzillas attack and daisuke serizawa is searching for godzila on a boat and like gareth edwards said he would do a DESTROY ALL MONSTERS like sequel and then daisuke hears roaring in the distance and see's "monster" island and then he says oh my god in japanese.
ghostkaiju now that i understand i agree with u now. im new to this site .
No, goddammit. For one, that's a stupid name, two, godzilla:3D to the max was just the precursor to G14. The new reboot will not borrow any plot elements from Banno's now dead project. Seriously, this is now one in how many discussions started about Deathla? This is getting almost as repetitive of a topic as what Godzilla's height will be.
Deathla will never be in the Legendary series, end of story.
honestly if mr banno is involved with legendary i hope he would maybe do the godzilla sequel for DEATHLA because for this one i just want to see the mutos
NO!!!!! IT IS NOT DEATHLA WE HAVE GONE OVER THIS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!
sorry mattzilla115, godzilla needs bandwagon fans because he has to grow in popularity. he might be a big monster, but hes not big in popularity. dont worry about this, its only good for the francise and think about it, you will have more g fan friends.
you are right durpoo4. this will make godzilla more popular and we will see more godzilla merchendise and movies in the future because of bandwagon fans. its nice to have more people that talk about godzilla.
When r they realeasing bandai creations little godzilla
Guys I need your opinion, I'm stuck whether I should get the bandai heisei king ghidorah figure or the godzilla 68 figure. What should I get?
i think It would be better if Zilla had the green breath from the show and hit godzilla with it but godzilla is invincible and then he would blow his breath at Zilla and then he would burn to death. By the way I'm new to this site.
That's pretty cool how E.T.N. and Universe G got to interview a cast member with a role which sounds significant in the film
@DOGGIEZILLA, I hope that Godzilla and the monsters will still hold the fantasy, while everything around them holds the realism. I just never felt you could make creatures like this realistic no matter how much science is thrown into it, but that was never the point, you know? It is all within the human aspect.
i think akio123 that this movie will have realism and fantasy. you got a good point there.
As I said, I am not good at explaing my inner thoughts lol Im sorry if I had caused confusion. This post was my personal opinions of the realism behind Godzilla. I don't know what will be realistic in this movie or not, all I know is that it will be taken, "Seriously". But I didnt mean for this post to state what the movie WILL have..Just things that I thought made Godzilla realistic in the first place
@DURATOK and GODZILLA HIMSELF, I was hoping someone could jump into my head and understand where I was coming from :) Glad you did.
I kind of don't want to hear any of the old themes in this movie. Plus, who said this will even have a main title opening? Maybe they won't even show the title until the end? Lots of movies are doing that these days: The Dark Knight trilogy. Inception. Avatar. Saving Mr. Banks. I could go on...
@Kaijujira
You do know that the 1993 and 1994 costumes were different too, right? Plus Burning Godzilla is just an altered version of the 1994 costume.
In any case, the 1991 suit is my favorite of the lot.
Wow... That's even more asinine.
i know the feeling, ive said so many things like this and it never does stick. of course in the end a lot of it will probably be wrong, AkIOs post however looks like like its going to be spot on.
no offence to any american at all, but technically its british cuz the director is british :P
@AKIO123,
This is possibly the most well thought out and intelligent post I've come across since I joined, and I agree on all points.
Prepare to have it go completely over people's heads.
if it is not a bad movie, then no it wont be the best godzilla moive ever.it will be the best MOVIE ever!!!
my most favorite is burning godzilla
Well, we can debate the realism of the creature(s) any other day (BTW he is most certainly possible!), but you're right in that we need to see a realistic reaction and aftermath if such a thing were to happen in real life. "Some people cried. Most people were silent." It would be interesting to see Gareth's take on humanity staring at the very face of their own destruction (pun somewhat intended).
Since you guys arent really digging these here is an extra option
Where does it say what will and will not be portrayed as realistic? True the movie might focus more on the realistic side of the after effects and survivors of the attacks, but you can't have a serious realistic movie, and then have a monster totally in the realm of fantasy. They'll have to add realism to Godzilla, Edwards even said that concerning his atomic breath.
Nothing is impossible, after all you never know if its possible for a animal like it to be this huge. It may have to consume HUMONGOUS amoutns of radiation, but we dont know if its true or not. Not saying it is, but at the same not saying its not. Its probably able to sustain itself, its legs are strong enough as they are huge too. The only thing that aint real is the atomic breath. But evem to that, who knows?
