Well, since this discussion's title seems to cause Godzilla's size to come into question, I think it's best to move back onto that topic. If he indeed is hunched over in such a pose, then it's likely that his full height when fully upright (if he can actually do that) would be around a head taller or so. Now, in that article recently brought up here, I'm not sure whether to take the 350 feet mention at face-value or not.
It's not unreasonable, and it does fit the original statement by Gareth stating that this Godzilla will be the tallest by, as the analogy to skyscrapers goes, "just like adding a pointy tower to make it the tallest". Then this begs the question: What if this is his "hunched over height", if we do take the 350 foot measurement at face-value? Perhaps, if he can indeed stand fully upright, he would reach a height a slight bit taller than this measurement?
This is all just speculation on my part based on whatever info has been scrounged up so far, and by no means completely accurate unless proven/disproven otherwise.

Xxsaber, if you actually looked, most of Godzilla's face is covered by the shadow or smoke. You can only see a little of his back and the top of his head. Secondly, Godzilla is hunched over becuase he is walking, and on a top view, you would only see his head and some spines, but you can see Godzilla's back, so this would mean he is hunched over.
Theres a reaon why Godzilla is lower it not because hes less popular its because mot people who voted for VA is because they dont know too much about godzilla they believe him as something lighthearted like barney, if they all did know h as much as we did he would have more votes.

No, this is coming from a top view as the soldier is falling. His eye is covered by a shodow. He is clearly moving in the trailer. How could you say he is sleep walking? How do you know that? How do you even know if he is sleeping? Why would that even be apart of the movie?

I'd have to say that I agree with you 100%. So many people want a movie in which this Godzilla will get 1 hour and 45 minutes of sceen time. Think about the many other monster movies that do that. Like a werewolf movie. The first time the man changes into the beast(This is in general speak) it's INCREDIBLE. The next 13 times? Not so much. When something gets shoved to be shown to please a crowd, it loses the awe factor. It is almost as if you were starving and someone gave you a cracker every hour. And each time its just as good because you're starving. If you're handed the entire box(Which I'll assume is more than you can eat), the taste will become stale, and suddenly those crackers aren't as enjoyable. I know that was a HORRIBLE analogy lol. Anyway, Godzilla should have the same creature tone as Jaws. Plus, aren't there other monsters and monster fights? The screen time should be great if done right.

I've never understood the hatred for Cloverfield from some fans either. I thought it was brilliant. The story is basically the original Godzilla (1954). A monster attacks a city as a metaphor to a national disaster and a love triangle with characters get caught in the middle of it.
It's more of a survival story, but it's still a very strong character story that uses its monster in a similar light to how Godzilla was used in his debut.
No, he's not sleeping. He's clearly moving and if you look closely it appears as though his mouth is closing and opening a bit. Also, I'm pretty sure his eyes aren't closed, they're just in the shadows due to his brow. The eyes are also covered in shadow in the Godzilla Encounter footage too(which is essentially what the new Godzilla will look like, since they look extremely similar), up until where he looks right into the window. How do you know he's going to be standing like that? Just because a prototype model that is starting to look less and less like the final design has that posture? There are literally no facts to support your claims.
In the original Godzilla (1954) Godzilla only has about 15 minutes worth of screen time. But his presence was felt a lot longer.
Really, I don't care how much screentime Godzilla gets as long as it's all well made. A good movie is a good movie. As long as it's compelling I won't care or notice how much screentime Godzilla gets.

I´d like a cartoon like Justice League, but with monsters, Godzilla is Superman, the lider, Mothra as Wonder Woman, Cthulhu as Martian Manhunter, Clover as batman, Zilla as Flash and King Kong as Green Lantern.
Or maybe a comedy, like The Simpson, the Looney Tunes or Tom & Jerry, just replacing the cjaracters with Kaijus.

in all of those movies I mentioned, the presence of those beings is always there. And just that is more powerful than a clunky and exaggerated brawl. Whether it be Alien or Cloverfield, the monster is there and you know it, and it makes their appearance that much better.
i think the amount of screentime(if thats what you mean) for godzilla will depend on how long the movie is total, if its a really long movie, for example like king kong, than pherhaps he should have at least 30 minutes of clearly visible screentime. as far as godzillas presence, well i think he should be there kind of in the shadows for a very large portion of the movie.
