I would like a Godzilla game not connected to monsterverse.

I guess for the amount of detail, its not too bad. The thing is I collect the Godzilla vs Kong figures, so I'm not used to buying anything 70$ or above.

But seriously, that's frickin hilarious.

The most I spent on a figurine/statue was 479 bucks. 232 is not much of a problem for my collection.

Yeah. Also I found it on the website. I think they renamed it to super charged Godzilla w/ fighter jet.

Interesting. I find it weird that Kong x-treme (if it exists) wasn't shown on the box.

godzilla x-treme is not the roaring figure, playmates.com says its separate. its just a 6-inch with the roaring figures pose.

I Found an image of the figure.

You know, there's another toy similar to this. If you look in the back of the Hong Kong Battle Kong or Hong Kong Battle Godzilla toy box, in the collect them all  section, there's a Godzilla labeled Godzilla X-Treme with fighter jet. Now, my best guess is that its actually the Battle roar Godzilla because of the pose, but I don't think it ever came with the fighter jet.

Shame Toho scrapped that origin story idea for Gigan. Works with his personality and could have been elaborated on in the movies. Always curious why Toho makes some of the decisions they do.

Interesting. That would be a cool backstory, though.

IDW proposed a backstory for Gigan in which he was a benevolent guardian on his home planet. He protected the inhabitants of the planet which worshiped him, but in each subsequent battle against other monsters he would become more and more injured.

The planet's inhabitants would heal Gigan by adding cybernetic enhancements. The problem was with each enhancement Gigan grew more violent and addicted to the added powers. When his people would no longer provide upgrades to his body, he turned on them and exterminated them all.

Supposedly, Toho vetoed the idea.

Literally. His arm looks like a Tyson chicken wing.

so gigan really IS a robo-space-chiken.

I'd be a Skullcrawler for 3 reasons:

1. Those skinny arms are stronger then you think

2. They're one of my favorite Monsters

3. There're faces look like an average person on Mondays: They may look dead, but they're not LOL.

Not really big on Toho monsters showing up in a Kong movie. They come at a pretty penny and have contracts that must be met. Not to mention that also means Toho will have some involvement in the movie and must be pleased. Maybe Megalon could be teased, but that’s all I really see happening. Would rather have Kong face new unique enemies to him forming up his own little gallery of antagonist. Maybe give him some monster alies too that will help when a powerful enemy too strong for Kong to solo comes in. Would love for Kong to have his own special Mothra of sorts that helps out. Not a mothra or battra, but partner that helps Kong like Mothra does Godzilla.
