UPDATE: Ah, seems we won't indeed be seeing a trailer this Friday. The original news poster reported this:
Okay so I have some updates but not really any good updates, the trailer is not coming this Friday (I’m not the one who made that decision and I am not making this up, and I am not asking you to believe me) however the trailer has a neg date of Feb 14 which mean it will be ready by that time. Why this happened the previous trailer was not approved by filmmakers. I also saw an exclusive preview from the Into The Storm trailer, looks epic twister meets Cloverfield. No date set for that trailer but it was just a teaser. Another update is that the new trailer from Edge of Tomorrow is confirmed for release with 300: Rise Of An Empire. Online should be March 3. And for everyone asking me to reveal my source, it’s highly unethical to do that.

Worst suit: Minya from Final Wars. That one was just...Weird. I mean, the showa one looks like it belong in the Godzilla films. The Final Wars version felt like soemthing out of that creepy sitcom "Dinosaurs", or whatever that was.
Worst idea for a monster: Gabara. Nuff said.
Worst design; Zilla. And no, its NOT ONLY because of 98. As a monster himself, he just seems...Unimaginative. A t-rex with a boxhead. And to top it off, he has the worlds most boring spikes turned around.
^Also very true. Who knows at this point. We have one source claiming to be partnered with Warner Bros. that says it will be out this Friday and another. that was correct about the first trailer being attached to the Hobbit, saying the same thing. As usual everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

Fair enough. I can agree she was more tolerable than Ichiro or the children in the Kiryu movies. As the movie went on she become more likable I suppose.
As for he CGI, I think it's just disheartening that Toho never measured up to Daiei's special effects team. Gamera 3 really knocked it out of the park and it was disappointing to see Toho fail at similar special effects techniques mere months after it was released. GMK was real close, but nothing stood up to what Shinji Higuchi did with the Gamera trilogy.
I kind of can't believe anyone thought there would be a super bowl trailer. Its like they have no idea how much it costs to put a super bowl commercial on.
final wars godzilla, his atomic breath could kill in 1 or 2 hits, was more slimmer and agile and could fight

Not to be a debbie downer but the last trailer did come out on a Tuesday... here's hoping for one sometime this week because I could really use something new and cool to reduce my stress this week

I disagree. I thought the little girl in G2K was goofy. So Shindo's letting his daughter do all the business expenses for him? What? And why put his own daughter in all that danger? It never really clicked for me.
I didn't like the CGI either. Gamera 3 had come out the same year as G2K. The CGI in that movie was amazing, so it was disappointing that the CG effects in Godzilla 2000 weren't even half as good as what was seen in Gamera.
If it's an online only release there won't be an Alberta rating since it won't be attached to a movie.
This doesn't prove jack. Its barely Tuesday the only way well know for sure is the day of.
Yeah, as much as appreciate the support KaijuJira, it really won't stop the whiners very much. Plus we also have a "Stop Whining" topic started earlier last month which deals with the same issue. Gonna lock this just to prevent repeat discussion. Thanks though! (I agree, theys should stop whining, haha)

Not that it's truly the final word or anything, but if it does turn out to be the case that there is no trailer on the 7th I hate to be the one to say "I told you so."
Ha, I noticed it was exactly 100 days, and then wondered if someone had started a thread about it being 100 days, and here it is.
Manilla, for obvious reasons, and Monster X from Final Wars. What a silly, lazy suit to appear so late in the series. He looked like he was covered in toaster strudel frosting. It was less TOHO and more POWER RANGERS, to me.
There are some characters from Ultraman that I love, and will eventually sculpt. Stay tuned.

I agree, minilla is the worst kaiju, I hate the suit and I hate his face too.
The first and second one cracked me up lol.
I kinda like the idea. A game where you can customize your own Kaiju, upgrading it as you progress through the game. I imagine you'd start out small (like a MUTO) and as you progress you'll be able to mutate different areas of your monster for different effect. Objective wise you would be tasked with things like mass destruction, fighting other kaiju/creatures, locating nucleur sites to attain the aformentioned upgrades etc all while avoiding military opposition. The creature you take into battle will largely depend on the objective you're facing at the time and will allow players to experiment with "loadouts" to see which works best in the given situation. Later on in the game you could unlock Godzilla himself to fight along side you and then eventually as a playable character. I only say this cuz he's teh king of monsters and unlocking him is basically like an invincibility cheat, allowing players to just enjoy the carnage without the stress of potential defeat. It would work best as a pick up and play, arcade style game which relied on the spectacle of the destruction. Just provide big enough cities, a decent scoring and levelling up system and it'd be cool, like a modern day RAMPAGE!
Minilla from the Showa Era to me is one of the worst kaiju monster because of how ugly the suit is.

i'd say kumunga and kamacarus are for me, they have no unique powers are just giant bugs not kaiju.
@InstinctiveGigan, that's what I mean, it's on the Amazon Godzilla Store page, it's definitley official. And Warner must have approved it because hasn't been taken down.
